I recently went in and needed help finding jewelry bits for a replacement part of a necklace and the lady working was so helpful. Ohh dear Hobby Lobby you definitely have your ways! Be prepared to go inside and come out with a bunch more that you expected. It's like a winter wonderland mixed with Santa's shop. They have so much on sale with sales ranging from 25% to 50% on products. The prices are highly reasonable and very competitive against big markets. If you need Christmas ornaments and decorations then make you way to Hobby Lobby. Customer service is descent and they could do better in improving and greeting customers. read more

I still love this location. My other half and I are looking for Christmas items to fill in the decorations we have. Not disappointed. Loads to see, something for everyone. I really liked coming into this store because the majority of the Employees here are pretty nice except for the employee KIM. I don't understand how someone like her was hired? She is extremely disrespectful and looks at you with a stick so far up her ass. She just stands there and the poor girl on the register was doing the best she could, but the manager was just staring at her. If you don't like your job then maybe you should find another job. I stopped into this Hobby Lobby to check out frames and mat board options for a print I recently acquired. The pre-cut mat section was super small and I wasn't sure if there was another area where I could find them so I asked the two ladies who were working at the framing area "Is there another area where I can find mats?". At first both of them just stared at me (one gave me a look that made it obvious my question was cumbersome and unwelcome), then one of the women finally said "Yeah, they're all right there" and nodded to the small rack behind her. I hadn't walked away yet and both women started laughing about my inquiry. I'm not sure what was funny about asking a simple question, but it made me feel pretty awkward and uncomfortable. Went into this hobby lobby store for the first time I Usually shop at the one in Cottonwood Mall I was very disappointed saw so many employees but not one offer to help I did stop one lady who had an apron in her hand I knew she had worked there I asked for her help and she said sorry I am not on the clock I worked retail for many years I've never once told my guess that no matter what it only takes a second of your time!guess come first! Just be prepared to face an unhappy sales staff whose job description does not include the phrase "customer service." Hobby Lobby is the black hole that sucks away my sense of time every visit that I make here. See all my check-ins here? Take that number times 3 and that is how many hours of my life have disappeared into this place. I always tell myself, I am just going to run in real quick and get (whatever). Yeah, right. Once I'm through those doors I'm lucky to remember what I came for. The prices...used to be better. I try to never buy anything here unless it's on sale. Sales cycle every other week for the most part, some are every 3 weeks. Each trip I stock up on sale items and if I need a non sale item I use the mobile coupon for 40% off. The furniture is always 30% off, which is not a deal, and makes it not eligible for the coupon. Bummer. The staff is usually friendly, but I do almost always have to wait in line. It is definitely worth it, though. I'd like to give this company 5 stars. They pay decent wages & I like that they stand for their convictions. What I don't like is that everything is made in China. I might be willing to shop the non-sale prices if they would just get some inventory that was made here in the USA. If I wasn't so addicted to everything in this place I'd knock another star off, but I just can't resist the gravitational pull this place has on me. read more

MALE EMPLOYEES FOLLOW YOU INTO THE RESTROOM - DON'T EVER GO TO THE HOBBY LOBBY ON MONTGOMERY and EUBANK! I stopped in here at 7 o'clock on August 1, 2018, A full hour before they're supposed to close. At approximately 7:05 pm, I went to use their restroom and discovered both the men and women's restroom's blocked off "for cleaning," and there was a line forming for use of the family/disabled restroom. No one was in the female restroom cleaning it, so I went in to use the loo. I was opening the center stall door when a CREEPY MALE EMPLOYEE FOLLOWED me into the restroom to tell me I couldn't use it and to "get out." He then TOLD me (versus politely asking) to get behind the cardboard barriers. It was at this time I actually had to admonish him like a two-year-old and to say please. My daughter witnessed the entire exchange, and we were both appalled, and honestly, he's lucky I didn't have my mace on me as I felt threatened by his body stance, the tone of voice, and the fact he followed a woman INTO to female bathroom. Why close the restrooms a full hour before closing the store? I worked in retail for many many years, and you do not start cleaning the store and restrooms until close to closing time or AFTER close. I couldn't find a manager to report this to so I let a cashier know on my way out. For a "Christian" company, they hire sketchy/creepy male employees, are rude to their customers and clearly don't understand the saying the customer is always right. This is the biggest HL I've been in anywhere. This location far surpasses the old Wyoming and Montgomery local. This store is clean and has a full staff! There is a review about high prices I'm not to sure what they are talking about. Same great low prices and if you find something you think is to much wait a week or two and it'll be on sale. I truly love Hobby Lobby, but the location on Montgomery is appalling. There are countless members of staff constantly stocking and even through this sea of employees, nobody ever, EVER, asks me if I need help. And I dread the times when I have to ask someone for help. They literally act as though you are the biggest inconvenience to ever pop into their day. They never smile, and are never friendly. I'm not usually one to complain about stuff like this, but after going there so many times with the same result, I have had enough. Please train your staff to have actual customer service. Today I had to ask where something was located and the girl (sadly didn't get her name) yelled abruptly past me very loudly and abrasively to another girl to show me where it was. She then proceeded to roll her eyes at me and motion with her hand rudely while saying "it's that way. Go follow her." I am so close to blowing my fuse and addressing the whole store with how rude they all are. I will be taking my business to much better hobby stores from now on. read more

You know--it is sad when a store is just run poorly. I like to get things framed at Hobby Lobby but my experience was just so bad that I am not sure I will go back. For one, the people running the dept really don't understand frames--but with that aside, I went to go pick them up and the two prints I wanted framed were framed in the wrong frames. I send them back and return to pick them up and despite having 3 people who were working in the dept--no one had authority to get the frames from the back. Apparently the frames have to be hand carried by the authorized frame person to the front---I can not put them in my cart. I proceed to wait for 20 more minutes while the portly trained cashier checks me out. Super frustrating and the 40% off coupon does not apply to the frame--thinking that supporting local is the way to go. read more

I went to hobby lobby today after coming up on a decent amount of spending cash i thought id get a few things for my work. ( im self employeed and my main source of income comes from selling my art work) Well after browsing awhile i noticed all the employees around me not offering any assistance. It got to the point i started to feel like i was doing something wrong!! But it was not untill i walked up to the front to ask some one to help when 3 employees ran to block the exits as if i was making a run for it! Oh & if i didnt mention this befor i am 8+ months pregnant!!! Even with all the people following me through out the store i still had to walk up to the front to ask to help me in the back so i could buy a air brush gun and generator to go along woth it. The lady i asked to get me help treated me so poorly it was unbelievable. She even decided she was going to hold on to my cart untill i returned. So i go wait in the back for some one to come help me but no one shows up. I actually had to go walk the isles untill i found some one to help me witch wasnt to hard considering every employee was peeking around the corners trying to catch me doing something illagle . I had to get paints to go along with the machiene so with out my cart i had a hard time carrying every thing to the front. I asked the lady to have the air brush stuff brought up to register 1 or 2. As i walked back up front i asked the lady where my cart was so i could put the paints with the rest of the stuff i was buying. She seriously tried blocking me from the cart!!!! I then told her im just trying to put this stuff with the rest. She then decided she was gling to assist me with my cart the 10 feet i had to walk to the cashier!! She then stood next to the cashier telling her to ring up the more expensive items 1st then put them in the bag and place them on the floor next to her feet!!!! Still acting as if im going to make a run for the exits!!!!! I have never felt more harressed in my life. Now i may not be rich but i am not a low life piece of trash theif that these employees made me feel like!!! I should of walked out the store befor i even bought a thing but i figured that would just make it look like they were right or that i couldnt afford to pay for the stuff i had picked out. Im going to fold my recipet to hide sensitive info but it will still show the store with address and the amount i spent to get treated so poorly!!!! I ended up spending a total of $479.45 to be treated like a low life scum bag theif.. Never again will i shop there. I was going to purchase a frame that was priced at $3.48. When I went up to pay, the cashier rang it up then immediately called the store manager- didn't even say a word to me- I then asked "is there a problem?" She said it was priced incorrectly. The store manager said that it should have been marked as $17.00 and decided she would not honor the price as marked. The thing that really upset me was that the cashier said to me,"sometimes people change the prices." I told her that it was in the clearance aisle and that is how it was priced. Also told her that there was another one on the shelf priced the same. I certainly did not appreciate her assuming that a 'customer' changed the tag- if the cashiers at Hobby Lobby all assume that their customers are dishonest I think I would much rather spend my money somewhere else. I also think that the price as it was marked should have been honored. So much for providing excellent customer service!! read more
