We ordered yesterday (Friday) for delivery today (Saturday). The selection was still good, and unique, even though we were late for a Mother's Day order. We chose two rose and jewelry arrangements. Today, the florist called us because the address for one of our daughter's was missing a unit number. We looked it up, and they had moved to another address! I called the shop back. They had already closed and I left the new address on their voicemail. I was certain they would write it off as a lost cause, but boy, was I wrong!! To my surprise they called me back within 10 minutes to make sure they had the new address correct!!! The woman was so pleasant and kind. They called the driver and said they would still deliver today, and reroute the driver! The driver called about an hour later. There was no answer at the door, and she even went around back to double check. I asked her to please leave the flowers on the back porch. She was worried because it was windy and may blow over but she found a way to secure them. I was just blown away by the woman's kindness and caring attitude. Above and beyond exceptional customer service!! Professional, kind and simply amazing!!! Our oldest daughtee just let us know she received her flowers, and they were absolutely beautiful. Flowers didn't get delivered because no one was at the theatre at 2pm. I specifically stated in the delivery notes that it was for an opening night gift for an evening show and that late in the afternoon would be preferred so that someone would be at the theatre. Thankfully the delivery person was kind enough to call me and I had to go pick them up at their main location. No where on the website does it say that 3pm is the latest for delivery, yet that's what i was told when I called to find out why they ignored the delivery instructions. I could forgive all this if the actual arrangement was as fresh and beautiful as their pictures online, but the roses are already turning and withering and the hydrangea is also on it's way out. This was supposed to be a purple arrangement, but they called and said they were out of the purple orchids and asked if they could substitute pink or white orchids, I selected pink as that was closer to purple, however, they put in white instead. Will not be using them again. And when I called to find out why my delivery instructions were ignored I was told that the latest is 3pm (like I should know that) and they acknowledged that it doesn't say that anywhere online when you order.

I'm also not going to say anything negative about the price, because it just seems like Albuquerque in general just has really expensive flowers. I'm originally from LA and we have a massive flower market with florists in them where we pay half of the prices in this town. So I've been growing accustomed to that part. For me, the thing that sets apart a florist from let's say, getting flowers at Whole Foods, is the customization , fine details, artistry, execution, and design that you miss out on by buying flowers from a place like that. I know times get busy, just hoping next time I'll have the forethought to get more involved and ask if it might look more full in a bigger vase or if I should go buy a larger bow myself and wrap it, etc. Ya know?
