Universally very friendly and helpful staff at this store, and staff roaming everywhere, ready to help (which is good, because there's so much now locked up behind glass, even here). Glowering armed security guards standing up front right inside the doors make you feel, I guess, safe (?) if not especially comfortable - it's sure not the old days, is it? Anyhow, prices here are notably higher on just about (but not) everything. Selection in the food aisles is oddly minimalist (no cilantro? really?). Well stocked shelves. Better lit than the WalMart Supercenter that's nearby and feels a little more middle class while remaining every bit as diverse (gotta love Albuquerque on that front). Basically, the staff are friendlier and more engaging here than at WalMart, but the prices are higher and the well-stocked shelves don't necessarily have everything you'd want. My guy and I come in quite often here. Currently there Holiday goods are disappearing quickly. Business is good? Never had a problem here. Usually find what I need send then some. My biggest happiness? Is that this store has the men's personal care line set up like a fine department store. Well, guys need to look and feel good and to me this is a plus because it makes my guy happy. Saw this 2 years ago when I lived in Tucson but not all Target stores have this set up. Everything is spaced out nicely and brightly lit. The rest of the store is nice. My only concern is I think the fresh food area is awfully small. Been to the pharmacy . Friendly employees. Medication was ready as promised and flu shot appointment was easy to make. This store usually has everything I need and well stocked. BTW, the images attached were on products I spied with my big eyes. I thought the tag lines are hilarious. I absolutely adore this Target! And the reason for that is simply because I am a complete product junkie. For those who may not know what that means, let me explain - it means I have a collection of over 600 different types of conditioners, skin creams, and moisturizing products. And when I step into Target, I just can't resist the urge to add "one more" to my collection. This store is a true heaven for beauty enthusiasts like me. It has everything I could possibly want - from hard-to-find hair products, to all the makeup brands I love, to skin and hair creams, butters, and lotions. And let's not forget their amazing home fragrance section! But be warned, if you're not careful, this store will empty your wallet in no time. So, if you don't have the discipline to resist temptation, it's probably best to stay away. Every time I step into Target, I tell myself that I'm just there for one thing. But I always end up leaving with 20 different items. The store is always well-stocked with a great selection of products, and the staff does an excellent job keeping everything organized and clean. I love Target, whether its the one I usually venture to on Lomas or the uptown, or even the Westside. Target does not disappoint. This location is no different other than maybe a little dated layout and design, but I am not not picky about that. If it ain't broke don't fix it right? I was surprised I hadn't already reviewed this location as its my 4th time there. I hardly venture this way mainly because of the other convenient locations near me. This time around I utilized the app to do Drive Up service. I wasn't really in the mood to walk around the store so I appreciated the pick up option they offer. They had my order ready within an hour! Wow that was fast! I really love that unlike their competitor *cough Walmart. You can do the same day delivery which is so convenient and helpful. I really love the shopping experience of Target and will continue to be a loyal customer for all my grocery needs. This is not the best Target in town, for some odd reason the service is just a little bit lacking at this location. However, I needed something drugstore-ish and I drove past TWO Walgreens to get to this Target. I just can't stand Walgreens (perhaps it's because, one time I drove all the way to Rio Rancho Walgreens to "safely dispose" of some prescriptions but when I got there they told me "our container is full and we can't take them" This was AFTER I have been sent there from another store saying that they would accept them. After arguing with the woman behind the counter I walked away just leaving them there. She threaten to call the police on me. Seriously! she yelled at me all the way down the aisle "I'm gonna call the police! I'm gonna call the police! Seriously? like they can't just grab a trash-bag and start putting the old meds in there? WTF?) ANYWAY, I have never ever had such a ridiculous experience at Target. even the worst target I've ever been and is twice as good as any Walgreens! and I've been shopping there for 30 years... I appreciate Target for their consistent service, selection, style, and quality. I feel like I can always go and get what I need. Almost ANYTHING I need. And they're open till 10 PM (at least in the summer). Thank you for being there Target! Rude staff, helmed by a rude general manager who loves to argue with customers. How so? I'll be happy to tell you. I like to wear leggings, I also have a pair of knee high converse that look great with them. So I had a rare day off and went out shopping. I had something to exchange at target and swung by. The employee working the returns counter obviously had an issue with my clothing. So she proceeded to be as rude as she possibly could, even yelling in my face over a wireless charging pad which I had the receipt for. Fine. I wound up returning it to another location - paseo - with no issue. What bothers me most is that after I contacted the manager, he argued with me on the phone. "Well I don't believe she was being rude". Me "Were you there witnessing the said incident?", Manager :"No". Me : "then how do you know she wasn't being rude?" Manager : "I know my employees better than I know you, and I know she'd never do that". He ended the call by hanging up on me mid sentence. I eventually emailed corporate over this and at least received some kind of an apology. Not that I'm some delicate flower, but when you find a way to argue and treat your customers like crap, especially ones who aren't acting rude - just dressed differently, I will say something. Also if we're going off of looks, please let the said return counter employee know that bob cut works better on a younger - slimmer - person, and as far as your makeup, you're not fooling anyone. 1 star. read more

The thing about these department stores is the consistent inconsistency. One Target will appeal and yet another will appall ... this one is the former, fortunately. Everything about this store is usually clean and the staff is almost always going to greet you. Even the store security and loss prevention team greets you. One more thing I like: they always take the time to setup attractive clothing displays and end-kicks, the kind that draw you in rather than make you ask, "why?" They have their own Starbucks within the store (up front) and it was clean and inviting. So even though it's not found next to a major highway and found in the heart of the northeast heights residential area, it's a location worth visiting. read more

I love this Target! The updated remodel is fantastic. The only thing is that the employees are VERY eager to help so if you are like me and NOT a people person in the morning, make sure you hit the Starbucks before you encounter a cheery employee! I love how they have the cheery decorations out for the holidays. And they now have a self checkout in the snack bar area so you can get your popcorn or pretzel quickly and then head to shop! This Target is right next to my doctor's office so I love to run over and grab a Starbucks and do a little shopping as a treat to myself after being a test subject once again! have been a loyal Target customer for more than 20 years. i know what time they close, but now when I go in, Im attacked every five seconds by a worker who could be cleaning up the store, etc. to tell me I have 5 minutes. its rude and completely uncomfortable. its stiffling and way too much pressure that I cant even finish my shopping. i am conscious of the time. well one walked by and threatened me, saying "if we were still there when she came back, she would have us escorted out." she had no reason to threaten us. she even scared her coworkers. rude and condescending. they do this because they want to be in their cars at exactly 10:00. terrible customer service. needs to stop or I won't go back. read more

Ok this is my favorite Target by far in that their dollar spot is the best!! They have a huge selection of dollar spot items!!!! Their natural product selection is not bad but Louisiana's still has them beat by far. This Target is usually pretty clean and well organized too. This is a pretty good Target - clean, well-organized, and in a convenient location. The parking lot can be a bit of a pain to navigate as it is a heavily-trafficked area, but being right on Montgomery makes it very easy to get to. There are plenty of self-checkouts, and they typically have at least three cashiers working the traditional lanes (more if it's the weekend). Every staff member I've interacted with has been friendly. There's really nothing significant to complain about at this location! read more

They are still working on their remodel but they are starting to live up to the name "Tarjay" I can't wait to see this when it's completely done and spend all my money here! I prefer this Target over a location closer to me because the other one always has a strange smell. Workers are always helpful and often check up on you to make sure you're doing okay. read more

While it IS undergoing a refurbishment, this Target is still completely serviceable and actually has tons of clearance items on the shelves. Customer Service is a setup as a kiosk when you first walk in (right past the dollar area). Christmas returns beware! I bought a Magic card deck on 12/23 before going to dinner with my friend and her son. He is 9 years old, so I anticipated that his taste may have changed. I didn't think it was too much of a risk because I could return them if it wasn't the right game. I quickly discovered that Magic was out and Zelda was in. I went to return the card deck the next day, with receipt. I was told that they couldn't do anything because some strange policy on cards of the new deck. I'm 45 years old, I have no idea what this could be, but I've been a consumer for longer than the young manager has been alive. I asked where this " no return" policy was displayed. I was told that it was on the fine print, on the site, and back of my receipt. I've already bought the item if we are talking about some fine print no return policy on a receipt. Look at the back of a Target receipt- there is no fine print. I didn't buy it on a site, I bought it in the store. They refused to refund or offer a store credit, despite no indication that I was buying something that couldn't be returned. I'm glad that I didn't buy any other gifts at Target. The cost - $11.32. I would have taken a store credit versus the small print BS story. I won't say that I will never shop at Target again, but I will never buy anything that has the potential for a return. Love target, hate self checkouts. 8:30 am and all they have open is self checkouts. If I wanted to work for Target I would put in an application for employment. If I'm in the need for some household goods or miscellaneous things, this is my go-to Target. Its Target, so you should pretty much know what you're getting into. The staff is always really friendly. A majority of the times I go I get into a nice conversation with the cashiers. The store is fairly clean as well. I've found some fantastic deals on cleaning supplies and household goods using the Cartwheel app, and keeping my eyes peeled for the clearance tags on items while I walk through. There's always some great deals in the store if you look hard enough (although sometimes they can encourage impulse purchasing which, I suppose, is the point). Overall, if you're in the neighborhood you really can't beat swinging by here on a semi-regular basis just to see what's on sale and what is on clearance. read more

I went to this Target to buy a few more Christmas lights for our display this year. I happened to go in on a crazy sale day (it was the weekend after Thanksgiving). There was a sale on holiday decor $100 of items and get $50 off. I filled up my basket and went up front to check out. Somehow I had managed to not spend $100 before tax but the cashier was super nice about it and put my order on hold so I could go back and grab something else. I went back up front and he got everything taken care of. Even though the store was crazy all the employees were still really helpful and happy. Great experience. read more

Staff here tends to be both friendly and helpful, and with a huge store and an introverts desire to get in and out quickly, that is a huge bonus. I almost always find what I need, and a few things I don't. The lines usually move pretty quickly, and they have self check out. Return Dept staff are friendly, and don't make you feel like a criminal if you have to return something. For a bug box store, it us quite tolerable. read more

The Meleah at the pharmacy here is so helpful. She is very knowledgable and has multiple suggestions on what our options are (regardless of prescription or over the counter). Well this is target. It's a very clean facility. The best thing - all of employees at least once while I was walking around in about a time span around an hour came up to me and personally asked me if I was okay while I was aimlessly was walking around shopping and going off of the list I brought. It has a lot of selection a lot of areas to shop around and always has great deals whether they are online printed but they're always smart and it's a well lit store. It's right off of one of the main streets in Albuquerque which is very easy to find and spot if you're looking for something quick and easy whether it's food or clothing furniture etc. between this target it's near a local Walmart however I feel this target is a better value and quality. If you're looking for cheaper quality and a cheaper price go to Walmart but this place has value and great potential to keep you coming is a valued customer year after year. read more
