This is a decent store if you're a teacher/homeschooler. Don't come here expecting to get your kids school supplies, though. There is a lot they don't have as far as that goes. Some of the items they have are a little pricey. They have good sales, though. If you're a teacher/homeschooler you also get 20% off on top of the sale price. One thing that bothered me was I couldn't find the prices for a lot of items so I wasn't sure how much I was spending. They have their own brand as well. I haven't tried Lakeshore Brand markers, glue, etc. I bought some today so we'll see how it goes. I only bought their brand because they didn't have a lot of tried and true brands like Elmer's and Crayola. Staff is helpful and seem fairly knowledgeable.

Classes vary and can include crochet, painting, etc. I took my little girls and they just happened to have paint with a Princess where there was Anna and Elsa and they spent so much time engaging with the kids. They have lots of kids classes for all ages like make your own monster. Great staff and if you love to support local this is a great place!

There were only 3 children signed up for the "Kids Clay workshop", so there was plenty of opportunity for the teacher to provide one-on-one attention to them. There was not much direction or instruction from the teacher on how to prepare the clay or proper painting technique to use on clay. She did demonstrate how to attach items to clay by scraping. For this age, we felt there should have been more instruction on designing of the objects and directions on how to paint the clay, so when fired, the color would be more vibrant. The color of the completed pieces was very washed out, almost if they had been just painted with water color. The teacher said the project would be ready in 7 to 10 days and that we would receive a text when the pieces were ready to pick up. It took 21 days and we were never notified for pick-up. We had to personally check 3 times to see if project had been completed and was ready to pick up. Very disappointed in the service after paying over $80 for the class.
