They have homemade baked goods (breads, muffins, and a variety of donuts) that are to-die-for, too. I never leave without a few donuts to take home. It's quaint and small inside, but not uncomfortably so. You can either sit by a cozy, lit fireplace, or by a window. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. You just can't go wrong with The Copper Lantern.

Both dishes hit the mark. Wonderful blend of flavors. Servings are very big so bring your appetite. We finished the meal with beignets. Those things are addictive. What's better than fried dough with Carmel sauce. Service was right on. In fact the chef came out twice to see how we enjoyed our food. My wife and I visit Hampton Beach and the coastal area annually with two other couples. We love to find new breakfast or brunch restaurants as our favorite meal of the day. Hoaty's was especially perfect for all of us recently after we first entered, and were forced to quickly depart, a frightful seedy dump in Seabrook NH called Linda's Breakfast Place. (SEE MY REVIEW). Hoaty's Restaurant offered our group one of the best breakfast entrees in our travel experiences. This place is very clean, the staff is on the ball, the food is excellent. Could not ask for more than that. We were still quite hungry when we arrived from the scary place in Seabrook, so we ordered up a storm at Hoaty's: French Toast, omelettes and corned beef hash with homemade Boston baked beans, outstanding pancakes, homefries. Scrumptious, generous helpings, well prepared. We had to stand in line when we arrived, which became no surprise after we finished our meals. This is the place to go for both locals and visitors. Very customer friendly and comfortable. We met a couple who drove from Boston just to eat here. We plan to return to New England in the Springtime. We will not miss a single chance to order up another storm or two at Hoaty's Restaurant. Very highly recommended. read more

Hoatys reminds me of an old fashioned Diner, not fancy at all but really great food, The super friendly staff, mint green walls and pig decor is unique and adds to Hoatys charm. They only take cash and the food is the best you can find in the area for cheap money. I love their omelettes and had the best ever Pastrami sandwich there as well. Just stopped in this morning and had a fantastic breakfast. I had "dad would be proud" and my husband "mom would be proud". I can only eat half because the meals are quite large, prices are low, service is exceptional, and food cooked to perfection! I asked for a side of hot sauce and I had to hunt through some plastic shelving behind me for packets. It made me laugh, but I'm just setting the scene for you. For takeout go elsewhere, but the eat-in diners plates looked pretty good. Eating in may up this old joint to a fourth star. I wanted to return the next day, but found an alternative breakfast spot close by that had better food.
