The rooms are simple, no-frills but still have a relaxing environment. We had Anna & Wendy; this was the best massage we both received in a long time. Originally I asked for a combo for reflexology and massage. When I noticed something was lost in translation and they were l my doing a full body massage, I was already knocked out in the heavens to mention anything. First time here. I appreciated being able to text with the lady in charge instead of having to call in that I was going to be late. She was accommodating and the ladies were thorough and didn't rush through the massage like they were trying to make up for time that I had lost. The hubs and I went in for a couples massage and the ladies were diligent in asking if the pressure was good. Overall, massage was good. We also got facials. I appreciated the fact that even though I had added this feature to our massages, the ladies remained accurate in adding the additional 10 minute massage to the facial. I think an exfoliation was performed but it wasn't any process that I have previously experienced. It must have been so gentle that it felt like everything else...something was applied to my face, massaged, and then washed off, several times. Unfortunately, my 3 stars represent the omission of my favorite part of a facial; the extractions. Though it is listed in the description, it was not performed as I had expected. There was a suction machine that was swept over parts of my nose and cheek but it was weak and I wasn't sure what it was trying to do. I was expecting the lady to go through my face, search and remove blackheads, whiteheads, and pimples. But she didn't. I didn't think it appropriate to ask as she was in the process, if she was going to manually extract my imperfections. But then they announced that they were done and I was disappointed. I called earlier today to see if they could add my sister and I to their schedule. My sister is a recovering cancer patient and I really wanted to make sure she had someone that could be gentle. Amy answered the phone and reassured me that we would be taken cared of. When we arrived, she already had my sister's bed preheated. Also, told her that if there was a language barrier to let her know, and to not be afraid to communicate with her massage therapist what she liked and needed. Sister saw Mandy and she was phenomenal. My sister LOVED her massage and will be going back. Her technique and how gentle she was got all the knots and didn't leave her feeling sore. She left relaxed which is what she wanted. When we asked this is for foot massage, they asked us to dress up and go downstairs. What kind of bait and switch is that? My boyfriend and I we're looking for for a couples massage. We called and an Asian lady picked up and sounded like she was whispering to us... I had a few questions to ask, but when I started to ask she answered with a short answer and right after she was expecting us to tell her what time and day will we be coming in?!! Feeling a little pressured, I just told her a time (when I was still deciding on a few places to call) The day of the massage... it is hard to find this spot. It's located on the corner and there was not much visible sign! We had to circle around a few times and give them a call... (and guess who answered the call ... the whispering lady) she said she will come out to wave us down... but she didn't. Walked in and whoa... it was humid, quiet, and a lot of grunting and heavy breathing in that lobby... why you might ask? Well they used a bunch of sheer sheets and some pcp pipes to make a "separate room" to maximize their rooms... THIS explains WHY she was whispering... quite disturbing if you ask me... I played it off as if it was nothing because this would be my boyfriends first time doing a full body massage. I didn't want to freak him out haha. We waited for a while... even after our scheduled time. We were escorted upstairs to our room. And was asked to strip down and lay on the beds. Which we did. Two ladies came in. Sweet Asian ladies, who did not speak much English. Asked us if we wanted hard or medium.... we both asked for medium... Our ladies might look small, but O.M.G! They have some strength!! I did ask to go a little lighter... she did but it just goes back to super strength... I swore I really wanted to scream because it was that painful. And the room being so humid wasn't pleasant. We tried to tough it out.. After the massage they treated us with hot stone massage ... which felt nice, if only it was a little hotter. Afterwards it was all done they told us to put our clothes back on and head to the lobby. We got dressed and walked down stairs.. that moment with 5 ladies staring at me.. made me feel like royalty haha... the whispering lady asked if we enjoyed it and gave us the price. Afterwards we tipped our ladies. We tipped a lot because of their hard work... you could tell they are out of breath and their cheeks were super pink! We definitely felt light... but the next day... we both felt like we had internal bruises! So will we be back? The massage itself was good, Coco was a little rough and I actually have a small bruise on my arm but my back and legs feel great this morning. The customer service was horrible, that is why they are getting 3 stars. The front desk lady did not acknowledge me when I showed up but rather dismissed me with her hand. After standing there for a good 10 minutes she walks over asked for my name, appointment time. A very nice lady takes me to my room to get undressed and start the massage. After an hour, she says "done" and walks out. I laid down for a little longer and the front desk lady rushes in and says "what are you doing? We need the room, get dressed" (I was laying there naked when she swung the door open) As I'm changing she opens the door yet again and says "we need the room" like if I wasn't changing back into my clothes already. I walk out to pay and she tries to charge me for a 90 min ($80) instead of a 60 minute ($60). If not for the horrible customer service I would've wanted to come back to this place again but that front desk woman is out of line. I will never be back to this spot again. read more

I got the "extreme value foot massage"- 1 hr for $40, although Amy was really pushing me to try the full body massage. And we found HM Warm Spa. Amy was able to get us in right away, and given we were about 5 min walking distance, we were serviced instantly! 3.5 stars rounded to 4 for masseuse Lulu. Location is located in a beautiful part of Pasadena. A couple buildings on Green Street remind me of New Orleans. I like the fact that I can text for my appointment. I text at 6:50pm for an appointment at 7:20 with Lulu based on Yelp recommendations. $29.99 for 30mins foot 30mins body, arms, head, & legs. Lulu did a great job and had the right amount of pressure for me. When massaging on my back, she would ask if the pressure was ok and to tell her if it was too hard. She spoke perfect English. I also like the fact when she massaged my feet, she did not do the scratching thing on your toes that 90% of other places do. I hate that because it tickles, but most of all what the heck does that do?! Overall massage was better than average and I like how Lulu uses her weight to push on knots and soreness on my lower back.. it felt so good. Now for the negative. The owner, I believe her name is Amy. She is nice, but towards the end of my massage I hear her two beds over talking on the phone scheduling an appointment with someone. I was at the peak of my relaxation and she completely ruined it. When I was done, I turned over and she's laying on the bed talking on the phone. Completely rude, I may be the only one there but that's uncalled for. She has a desk outside where she normally does that. Lastly, when it comes time to pay. I paid with a credit card and noticed she is charging me $1 extra. I asked her oh you charge $1 for credit card? I said I'll just pay cash, but she already charged me and tried to cancel. I said it's ok forget it. I wasn't trying to make a deal for $1 charge, but it would have been nice if she told me instead of just charging me. She said give me your number and if you have problems you can call me later and fix it. I said you just charged me, it's ok. She kept saying she didn't because she cancelled the transaction, yet held on a receipt that said charged $31. Finally she decided and said fine I'll refund you, there was an option for this on the machine. She essentially charged me and wanted me to pay cash too (double charge), and if I had find out I got charge on my credit card I can call her and she will refund. When all along she had a refund button... when I was walking out the door she has the audacity to say now you know next time we charge $1 for credit card. She should be telling customers about the $1 charge before she charges. I will make sure I just bring cash or know now they charge $1 for cards. read more

This place is fantastic! Always a great massage. Summer and Nancy are great masseuse. Making a reservation was really easy, and they were even accommodating when we called last minute to say we were going to be late. One time, however, I came in and there was nobody at the front desk. I had to wait a while, and that didn't leave a good impression. The massages are mediocre. I've been getting massages for a while now, so I'm particular with what I like. This place is just average to me. There isn't really anything special or makes them stand out. I don't get a relaxing vibe from here. It's not dimly lit and there isn't music playing. The areas for massage are pretty small as well, not an open space or comfortable.
