Amy, thank you for such a wonderful massage experience. The use of hot stones was euphoric. Hope to visit again soon.

False advertising - states on their website that they offer an "Extreme Value" massage for head, neck, shoulder, arms, hands, and back for $25/hr. Went in to buy a gift certificate - there was a language barrier and they claim it's a foot massage for $30. I showed them the info on website, and they still just said no. Thanks for wasting my time, change your website if you don't offer that! read more

HM Warm Spa - Massage Near Me - Pasadena, California

3.5 stars rounded to 4 for masseuse Lulu. Location is located in a beautiful part of Pasadena. A couple buildings on Green Street remind me of New Orleans. I like the fact that I can text for my appointment. I text at 6:50pm for an appointment at 7:20 with Lulu based on Yelp recommendations. $29.99 for 30mins foot 30mins body, arms, head, & legs. Lulu did a great job and had the right amount of pressure for me. When massaging on my back, she would ask if the pressure was ok and to tell her if it was too hard. She spoke perfect English. I also like the fact when she massaged my feet, she did not do the scratching thing on your toes that 90% of other places do. I hate that because it tickles, but most of all what the heck does that do?! Overall massage was better than average and I like how Lulu uses her weight to push on knots and soreness on my lower back.. it felt so good. Now for the negative. The owner, I believe her name is Amy. She is nice, but towards the end of my massage I hear her two beds over talking on the phone scheduling an appointment with someone. I was at the peak of my relaxation and she completely ruined it. When I was done, I turned over and she's laying on the bed talking on the phone. Completely rude, I may be the only one there but that's uncalled for. She has a desk outside where she normally does that. Lastly, when it comes time to pay. I paid with a credit card and noticed she is charging me $1 extra. I asked her oh you charge $1 for credit card? I said I'll just pay cash, but she already charged me and tried to cancel. I said it's ok forget it. I wasn't trying to make a deal for $1 charge, but it would have been nice if she told me instead of just charging me. She said give me your number and if you have problems you can call me later and fix it. I said you just charged me, it's ok. She kept saying she didn't because she cancelled the transaction, yet held on a receipt that said charged $31. Finally she decided and said fine I'll refund you, there was an option for this on the machine. She essentially charged me and wanted me to pay cash too (double charge), and if I had find out I got charge on my credit card I can call her and she will refund. When all along she had a refund button... when I was walking out the door she has the audacity to say now you know next time we charge $1 for credit card. She should be telling customers about the $1 charge before she charges. I will make sure I just bring cash or know now they charge $1 for cards. read more

Thank you HM and Amy. Always good and Mia & Lucy were amazing for deep tissue. Clean and nice. Appointments are always easy to secure. Thank you again! read more

I called earlier today to see if they could add my sister and I to their schedule. My sister is a recovering cancer patient and I really wanted to make sure she had someone that could be gentle. Amy answered the phone and reassured me that we would be taken cared of. When we arrived, she already had my sister's bed preheated. Also, told her that if there was a language barrier to let her know, and to not be afraid to communicate with her massage therapist what she liked and needed. Sister saw Mandy and she was phenomenal. My sister LOVED her massage and will be going back. Her technique and how gentle she was got all the knots and didn't leave her feeling sore. She left relaxed which is what she wanted. I had Cindy and was also good. Pressure was 10/10, and while I wish she was a little slower at times, everything that I needed got addressed! read more

This place is fantastic! Always a great massage. Summer and Nancy are great masseuse. Making a reservation was really easy, and they were even accommodating when we called last minute to say we were going to be late. We originally did a 60 minute, but as soon as she felt how bad my knots were she recommended a full 90 minute, which was really worth it. Best part, I didn't feel pressured into it at all. Street parking is available in the area, although you have to look around for the areas that are 2 hours and not just 1. Definitely telling friends and family to come here in the future! read more

I really wanted to like this place. I gave it a few tries, and wasn't impressed at all. The ladies are always nice, and they're always quick to accommodate. One time, however, I came in and there was nobody at the front desk. I had to wait a while, and that didn't leave a good impression. The massages are mediocre. I've been getting massages for a while now, so I'm particular with what I like. This place is just average to me. There isn't really anything special or makes them stand out. I don't get a relaxing vibe from here. It's not dimly lit and there isn't music playing. The areas for massage are pretty small as well, not an open space or comfortable. Also, the massage I received today, the lady told me it would include hot stones. It's not a big deal but led me to be disappointed in the end. read more

I brought my boyfriend for his birthday today and Amy was able to squeeze us in last minute! I'm am so happy about that because it was a surprise for him. Miya massaged me and she was so amazing I asked for deep tissue because all of my knots I had on my shoulders and by the time she was done all my knots were gone. Thank you so much Miya! Coco massaged my boyfriend, whom was suffering from a pain on his right leg and coco was able to make the pain go away. I am so happy with the service here and it is our 4th time coming so we are definitely coming back read more

Since the Massage Room (formerly Heart and Sole) closed in Pasadena, I have been looking for a new go-to massage place in Pasadena and I have found it. Amy who manages the place is very welcoming and Anna provided a professional relaxing massage. The price is amazing. read more

My wife and I stopped by for a 1 hour spa day late last week. The experience was as always professional and staff provided the best experience. We had a shared room so we could communicate and talk about the rest of the days plans. After the terrific massage, we both showered and left the spa feeling invigorated and ready to take on the rest of our day. We highly recommend HM WARM SPA. The staff are always friend and their skills on getting all the kinks out of our body is always amazing. We look forward to our next spa day at HM WARM SPA!!! read more

Best massage for the money. Came with a group and we plan to make it a regular monthly event. We all enjoyed our massages. Love the hours. read more

Just had a couples massage here that was amazing quality and value- Lisa and CoCo were our therapists. We loved the hot stones. I highly recommend coming here! They were super accommodating and able to squeeze us in when we called 20 minutes ahead of time :) it seems popular though so try to book in advance but don't be afraid to call and ask! read more

This is a must visit massage spa if you are in the Pasadena area. My wife and I purchased the "foot massage" but when we finished we were so amazed and surprised that we received a total body massage. The therapist I had was incredible; she found the knots in my upper trap, left calf, and lower back and provided a great deal of attention to those much needed areas. Next time I come back with my wife, we are going to get the massage and facial combo. I'm excited for our next visit!! Thanks so much HM Warm Spa we love you!!! Have a nice a day :) read more

Booked three massages day of and no problem getting appointments! We were all impressed with the quality of the massages, best we've had in a long time! 10/10 would recommend! read more

Amy was a great manager and Linda was my masseusse. Both were great. Parking is street parking. I got the "extreme value foot massage"- 1 hr for $40, although Amy was really pushing me to try the full body massage. I definitely will at some point but tonight, my aching feet loved the foot massage! 1 star removed because the walls are thin and you can hear all the conversations which destroys the ambiance and the magic fingers of Linda. We had a private room for our massages and were allowed to remove outer clothing. I got oil on my back when that was massaged as well. Loved it! read more

Not a bad place for a massage. Clean and professional. They do a good job for a reasonable price, and are open to focusing on certain problem areas. Just went last week with my lady and we were both set up in the same room for a solid hour massage. read more

Manager, Amy is lovely. Place very clean and calming. Had the most amazing massage by Angela. Better than Burke Williams! Also had refreshing facial. Will definitely be back! read more

My rating is based on how they schedule appointments. Numerous times I have scheduled an appointment at a certain time with a therapist and when I arrive, the lady behind the desk informs me that it will be another half an hour. One time, I had to wait an hour. So, even if you have an appointment, don't count on it being on time. To me, this is terrible customer service. Nancy was my go to girl and she is AMAZING! She gets five stars. I'm sad to say I won't see her any more, because I just can't take being taken advantage any more with the scheduling. read more

This place is very clean and welcoming. I've been here couple of times and it is my go-to massage place. Every time I get more satisfied. Also, Amy's very nice and helpful. read more

Came here for couples massage, was great! Better than at other more expensive places. Very fair price for all that was included, both of us loved it. Amy helped us with the booking and was very hospitable. read more

Best massage I probably have ever had. Amy was super nice and welcoming. The place and clean and really spacey! I went today for a couples massage with my boyfriend. 1 hour included full body and hot stones. They made us feel really comfortable and I loved how they asked if it was too hard or too light. Will definitely be coming back! read more

My friend and I did a 60 minute couples massage. For $50 with a complimentary hot stone treatment, this place is certainly a deal. The massage was nice, but the hot stone is definitely what set it a part for us. Our only complaint was we were rushed out post-massage and it was a little awkward. It couldn't have been more than 30 seconds after the massage ended when we got the first knock on the door asking if they could enter. We were completely undressed and still wiping oil off, but decided to rush because they clearly wanted back in. They kept knocking every thirty seconds or so and it kinda killed the relaxing mood. They actually came in while we were still putting our shoes on to change the sheets and it was just a bit uncomfortable. I hope in the future they'll schedule appointments 15 minutes apart. read more

Every therapist is great, but Helen is amazing!

Excellent deep tissue massage with hot stones. Masseuse was receptive to my asking harder and less hard pressure.

Just had an AMAZING experience at HM Warm Spa. First of all, I didn't make an appointment because I saw "walk ins" were allowed. So me and my girlfriend just stepped in and they took us in right away. Talk about fast service! Now let's talk about our massages. 10/10. The ladies that did our massages Tina & Cici were AMAZING! They did our backs very well and were very powerful. We got the fully body, and not once did we feel like they weren't putting in their best efforts. The hot stones also felt good, not too hot, but enough to feel it and feel relaxed. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone. Worth every penny!! The price was also very good $100 for 60mins for 2 people. Thank you for making this experience wonderful. read more

Amy 5 star couple massage excellent good good. Very nice 5 star. Very good fell half asleep though my gf said

5 stars to Miya. She did an amazing job and was very friendly and professional. The 4 starts is more for the place. If you're in a room downstairs, you're going to hear all the noise coming from the lobby which can ruin the calm vibe to your massage. The restroom can use a cleaning everything I've used it and they never tend to have seat covers. However, I still highly recommend this place. These women know how to massage extremely well. read more

Love coming here! My boyfriend and I have been here a couple times and love the service. This time I had Angela and she was fantastic! My lower back was super stiff, and she can feel that and really did a phenomenal job! I went in feeling stiff, now I'm able to move with no pain. Amy, the owner, is so kind and helpful! Thank you so much! My boyfriend and I will continue to come back! read more

This place was easy to find, easy to make an appointment, good customer service and communication, clean location and practice, had easy parking, but most of all had a great massage! Full body massage was $60 with hot stones included. Jenny was great. I didn't have to tell her there were knots in my upper back. She just knew and went right at then with the perfect pressure. I would definitely be coming back! read more

What can I say, my boyfriend and I got the couples massage this afternoon after a hard day at work. The room and overall spa was so beautiful, so comfortable and most importantly the massage was one of a kind! I had a very special time with my loved one thanks to the wonderful ladies at HM warm spa. Not only they are very attentive but really focused on what you asked for the massage. I recommend this place I will go to this spa and only this spa from now on! A-MAZING!!!!!! Thank you HM warm spa! You truly made my day. read more

Amy is awesome. My wife and I have gone multiple times for couples message and each time was perfect.

It was my first time coming to this spa and I spoke on the phone with Amy ( very nice lady )and she told me she can take me in right now. I head over there and the first thing I notice was the atmosphere. Amy made me feel so welcomed while calming music was playing in the background and the lady Jessica took me right in. I asked Jessica for a medium tissue massage and she did. Let me tell you though JESSICA HAS MAGIC HANDS she gave me a full body massage and really made me feel so relaxed I almost fell asleep. She was very a-tentative and would ask me here and there if the massage was okay. WHICH WAS GREAT! I do recommend that if it's your first time please ask for Jessica she is a very nice lady and will accommodate your needs. Once I was done with my massage I felt so relaxed and rejuvenated. Amy the receptionist was very welcoming as well. I will definitely come here again read more

This place was amazing, so relaxing. My girlfriend and I did a couples massage package for $100 and it was worth every dollar. Our massage therapists were Lisa and Angela, they were both professional and friendly, would definitely recommend them if you have the option of choosing. I've had multiple shiatsu massages in the past but none have been this good. The massage was for an hour (it felt way longer cause they were putting in work). We were so happy with the massages we tipped 20$ each person. While we are just visiting from Orange County, my girlfriend and I both agreed we will eventually come back. Pro tips: they allow you to go full nude or in your underwear, seems like it's just street parking, and bring cash preferably. 10/10 would recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more

Booked 2- 90 minute massages for my husband and I and we regret it. When we arrived they told us to undress and get under this scratchy small orange towel. Nope. They brought us sheets instead. My therapist was very inappropriate and pulled my underwear down. Nobody has ever crossed this boundary, but she did. I didn't stop her the first time and regret it but I did the second time and yanked them back up. If she spoke English I would have had some choice words for her. I swear she spent half of the 90 minutes on my butt and was massaging so hard that I stopped her multiple times and a few minutes later she would still do the same thing. I yelled "ouch" 4 times overall because that's the only English word she understood. She spent absolutely no time on my shoulders and that is the whole reason I needed a massage today. I couldn't communicate with her so it was a waste. Then when they turn you over she put the scratchy orange towel over my face and I just wanted to get out of there. First massage where I literally counted down the minutes to escape. My husband was also disappointed and just said he was covered in oil and not relaxed. We will still with our go-to nicer places. read more

Accommodated me as a walk in today and was delighted! Amy was wonderful and got me right in. Clean, organized, and peaceful. May gave me the most amazing massage, I wish I had time to stay longer, but I will definitely be coming back. Loved it! read more

This place was amazing. The person I got, Mandy, had wonderful techniques. I highly recommend her. I had a stiff neck, and she did great hitting the muscles I needed. Amy was a wonderful host. I'll definitely come back here, lol read more

I was hoping that I would like this place. Sorry, one star from me. I came here with a couple of friends because my favorite massage spot in Pasadena was all booked up and this place was able to accommodate the 3 of us that night. Pulled up and luckily found parking on the street right across from the place (keep in mind, parking can be tough around area). They quickly got us in this little dark tent-like room in the lobby (yes, in the lobby). It literally felt like a big tent with massage beds placed closely next to each other. I thought "okay, that's cool I guess" didn't bother me too much... until later. First off, it was really hard to relax because you could literally hear everything going on in the lobby. There is literally just a sheer curtain covering the entrance of the "tent-like" room. There wasn't really any "zen" music playing either to distract from all the noise coming from the lobby and outside. On top of that, the lady giving me a massage was chewing gum. So annoying, because I could just hear her chewing away as I lie there trying to relax. My massage...sucked. I'm only speaking for my masseuse (my friend said hers was good). It just felt like the laziest massage ever. If she was tired of rubbing people all day, I definitely felt that through my massage. Throughout the beginning of my massage, they have you lie down while you have your feet in a bucket of hot water to soak. This position was hurting my back so much! Ugh, I wish i could have just ended the massage right there so I didn't have to pay the 30$ for this sad experience. To top it all off, when we paid the receptionist or whoever the lady was at the front, she didn't give our change back because she assumed we were going to give all of the change to tip our massage lady's. I'm not a cheap person. I always tip, but i believe the amount of tip really depends on the service that I receive and I definitely wasn't going to give a 30% tip for the terrible experience that I got that day. I thought it was pretty rude that we were not given our change back so that it could be decided by us how much we wanted to tip. I definitely will stick with the massage place in Pasadena that I always go to. Never coming back. read more
