I've been to HM Warm Spa twice. The first time was two years ago when my bf brought me here for my very first ever deep tissue massage and the second was two weeks ago for my birthday..again with the bf. The first experience, I have to say, was more positive...but I'm also not sure because I had no other massages to compare it to. I don't remember much, other than the lady had went ham on my shoulders/back and I was just trying to let her go for it without telling her to lighten up ..esp since my mentality was no pain no gain lol. The only thing was I had a full face of makeup (which go figure...I don't recommend) and my face was pressed up against the circular pillow...which I'm not sure if I prefer tbh. I did specifically remember that they have showers so for those who don't like the oily feeling after a massage, that's def a plus! My last experience was more mediocre.. maybe more of a 3.5/5 star rating. My bf had called in the morning to set up a same day appt - two one hour deep tissue couple's massage with hot stones ($50 each). Since it was a random weekday, we knew that places would better accommodate us and we were able to make the appointments for two hours later. When we arrived, we were the only one customers in the spa (or so it seemed like...it was dead quiet). We were quickly welcomed and brought upstairs to our private room. My bf and I got two ladies (didn't catch their names, but one older and younger one haha). I have incredibly tense shoulders from having a desk job and driving so far every day, and I appreciated how the lady who did my massage was really working out the knots in my shoulder blades. She was going a little too hard and after she could feel that I was tensing up, she asked me if she should lighten up. I ended up agreeing. However, after that she lightened her grip too much. After she finished working out my shoulders, she moved to my back, and the massage literally felt like she was like using her forearm and going in repetitive circles. It felt like something I could have asked my bf to do. She switched off on both sides but I finally got the courage to tell her to go harder again. Looking back I just felt so disappointed throughout the massage because we couldn't get her pressure to my actual liking. It was either too hard to too soft. Afterwards I was able to check in with my bf and he felt pretty mediocre about his massage as well. He has pain issues with his midback but he had mentioned that his lady was mainly focusing on his shoulder area. All in all, I'm not too sure if I'd come back. I was surprised because if you read all the reviews - they're so positive..but I felt like my experience aligned with more of the negative ones. read more

My boyfriend and I got a couples massage here and it was amazing! I think Amy is the owners name? She was super nice and timely. Her masseuses were excellent! I told mine to make it a little harder for me and she sure did. I told her my main focus were my shoulder blades and boy did she WORK on them! My boyfriend said his massage was great as well! He had issues with his neck and shoulder and the lady that massaged him really did help alleviate his pain. Definitely will be going back. Also the couples massage had hot stones included and that was amazing. It was my first time getting hot stone so I was pleasantly surprised. Overall an amazing experience!! read more

Gotta give this place a 5 star, aside from the service to the lady that was massaging me, really made me relax. I'm a very ticklish person but it's so relaxing and clamming. After a long week of work Wendy & Mya was the ladies that massaged me. I really enjoyed it and I know that they are using all their energy for my stress out muscles to relax. I appreciate them and the whole experience was amazing. I will definitely come back and the price is reasonable. read more

Love it here, they have an amazing ambiance and very relaxing!! I would recommend this place to others!!!

Amazing footage massage! Amy and Nancy are so great. Nancy is an excellent massage therapist!

I really enjoyed my 90 minute message with Linda. Upper Lowe body hot stone with foot massage. Thank you Amy for charging my phone as well.

I visited H&M Warm Spa for the first time for a 3pm appointment on 01/05/2018. I had a 90 minute "Value Massage" which is just $40. The value massages are done in a semi-private room (4 beds) in the downstairs level, and I had an excellent massage. My masseuse spent a good amount of time in several different areas. She started with the face/head, arms, front legs, feet, and then back. Everything she did was excellent. She was medium pressure almost everywhere and heavier pressure on the back. I could have adjusted it at anytime; however, there was no need to do so. After my 90 minutes, I felt kind of dazed and it took a while for my vision to become readjusted after I walked outside. Trust me, this is all good! Tipping -- please tip these people well. Think about this... $40 for 90 minutes. That is a super value. Tip these people well! I tipped $20, which I felt was appropriate. read more

Had a wonderful massage. I'll be back sooner rather than later. I like deep tissue massage and my therapist did exactly what I needed. I run 5 miles a day and workout so my legs are extremely tight. My therapist did a great job at relaxing my sore muscles. read more

I used to be a simple foot massage kinda girl but Wendy made me appreciate the benefit of a 90 minute full body! I've never had to ask someone to not press so hard but everything just felt so great afterwards! I'm always on my feet for work and I've been going about every two weeks since my first 90 minutes and I have definitely slept better and felt more relaxed since! Only thing would be when I do want to get just a simple foot massage it can be a little challenging to get in for something little like that read more

Relaxing, clean, professional setting. Great massages for a reasonable fee. Everyone is great; last time saw Wendy and Jenny. Amy at the front is always very nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend. read more

5 stars for massage services 3 stars for judgment. I've been coming to H M warm spa for over 5 years; I buy gift certificates for Mother's Day and Christmas every year. The service has been excellent. These ladies work hard despite the increase in prices I keep coming back. Mind you, I try to tip between 15% - 20%. I booked a last-minute couples massage as a gift for my husband and I, which we enjoyed. When it came time to pay, I was sad that I couldn't top the ladies more since it has become cash only in recent years but left a 15% tip when my husband paid the manager at the front desk looked annoyed and asked " you want to tip them that!?" She refused to take it and called the employees that had assisted us to come down and take it personally which we didn't mind but while I don't speak the language I could tell the manager was not speaking about us kindly which ended up ruining the experience overall, might have to try a different place if this is going to be experience. Very sad. read more

Jessica was wonderful! I came here after climbing Mt. Langley. The value is there! I'm from the bay area and you can't find the same service for what they charge. Jessica definitely was able to apply enough pressure and work out all the knots in my legs and back from my trip! Will make it ritual to visit here when in Pasadena! read more

$30 bucks for a foot massage that includes hand, shoulder and head massage, 1 hr long. Not bad for the price. They also offer hot stone massage, body massages and oil massages. With prices, 40, 50 and 60 respectively. The business is licensed and the receptionist speaks minimal English but understandable. Parking is street parking. 6pm free afterwards. read more

My shoulders/back have been causing issues lately and the massage definitely provided immediate relief. Definitely coming back.

Amazing service Aimee and everyone was super nice and massage was amazing I feel great thank you so much

My sister decided to surprise me with a lovely birthday massage. We chose the 90 min massage with Angela and Miya. It was a wonderful experience with long relaxing strokes and hot stones. I had never experienced the hot stones before and it definitely was a great and soothing experience. I had been experiencing a lot of stress lately resulting in pain and discomfort throughout my body and the massage definitely helped to work out the knots on my back. I will definitely be back soon! read more

First time getting a massage & it was great! They were very clear on reminding us that we can always ask for adjustments & if we didn't want something, we can always let them know. Very much appreciated. We had Miya and Monica and they were both very nice and experienced. Amy was very accommodating & allowed us to delay our reservation by 30 minutes without an issue. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended :-) read more

We did the couples massage. We both really enjoyed the experience. Looking forward to coming back.

Came here after trying a few other places over the past few months. Amy and her staff are great and super friendly, along with being great at what they do! My girlfriend and I scheduled a couples massage and Amy was able to fit us in that same day. The massage it self was by far the best massage I've had in Pasadena and possibly LA. All my knots and problem areas were worked out and now I feel like a cloud. I will definitely be coming back here in the future! read more

I had Anna and she was great and Amy was the receptionist and she was very helpful & kind , best experience I had and I found my new massage spa spot! read more

Easy to schedule an appointment via text or phone, and our masseuses were great :) I unfortuantely didn't get their names but we went in for a couples massage. My husband had soreness from boxing and he felt much better afterwards. We'll definitely be back. read more

Had a great massage with hot stones. Full body one hour massage was so good it targeted all my sore muscles and the pressure was exactly how I asked! The owner honored my certificate even though it was bought 4 years ago! They're always available so many rooms, so any time you call they have a spot open. Great for quick relaxation read more

I'm a massage therapist and my most frequent question is who massages you? Where do you go when you need a massage and the answer is this place. I've been coming here for 4 or 5 years and it's consistently satisfying. The massage therapists are all very strong and address the body with respect and whenever my shoulder is more sore or I'd like a face massage that day they spend extra attention without sacrificing time on the rest of my body. I love that they use hot stones it really deepens the relaxation aspect of the session. I go in mangled more often than not and I always leave feeling very well cared for and put back together. I can not give a higher recommendation. read more

Went in for a couples massage and was very professional/relaxing! Great massages and masseuses knew what they were doing! We both loved our massages here and will be back again. Also prices are very affordable. read more

I had a 90 minute massage with Anna. The customer service was excellent from the beginning. It is possibly one of the best massages that I've ever had. I feel so relaxed and the tension in my neck and shoulders is gone. The pressure was just right. This is a great option for a high quality massage without going to a spa. read more

My husband and I have had the couples massage here several times. It has always been great quality, the staff is very courteous and helpful. Well worth the price, we try to go whenever we're in town. read more

Great foot massage. Excellent work. Helped with my pain. Good combination of firm and gentle. Great stretches. Very attentive

Well... my friend and I wanted to get a relaxing massage for two. They accommodate 2 people in 1 room. Prior to our arrival, they text my friend with this: 60 mins for $50 each. So we decided to book it. Upon arrival, we waited a couple of minutes before being escorted into a room with 2 beds. Nothing fancy. We get comfy, the main lady peeps in and says too loud. So we lowered our voices. Two ladies come enter, 30 mins into our massage my lady turns to my friend and says 90 mins for $80! I looked up and said No, thank you. per text it's $50 60mins. We actually had to be somewhere else in LA. She kept saying ok..90 mins $80. He said No we have to be somewhere else. 20 seconds later the main lady opens the door and they all start chatting.. By the way..our butts are exposed with the door open during their chat! Good thing nothing else was exposed. While on my back she starts on my face..I could smell what she had for lunch. The garlic on her hands, not ok. Maybe she was in hurry to eat lunch. But, GARLIC on my face is not ok. I wasn't comfortable with 1) Negotiating $ during my message, not ok. 2) Butt exposed while door open, not ok. 3) Garlic finger tips, YIKEs not ok. If you decided to visit be sure you like Garlic, exposure and make sure you negotiate your time and money. Don't worry, my friend over compensated on the tip by 60%. Good Luck! read more

Excellent massage!! Cindy was amazing. She communicated well and checked in on pressure. She had just the right amount and hit all the right spots. Very thorough. Nice attention to gluts and legs, more than most. Her use of hot stones was unique and nice. I felt like great afterward and gave Cindy twice what I usually give as a tip. Well deserved. She worked hard and did an excellent job. And it's the pandemic so we need to our local businesses!! :) read more

Had a great massage and body scrub here recently. Booking done by telephone only. On arrival , staff knew exactly what had been requested and Lisa proceeded to give me one of the best massages I've ever had. My frozen shoulder received a good stretch. The vibe was very relaxed. The massage & scrub package is offered at a phenomenal price point and I will definitely be returning. read more

I have been to any massage places and this one is the best! Super professional and they know what they are doing!!!! The employees are soo nice!!! You get more then what you pay for!! I went in to try to relieve all the tension in my shoulders and it causes me to have headaches all the time! The owner kept me 10 min extra on her own time and gave me a strong neck and head massage... I honestly felt like a new person once I left!! Highly highly recommend!!! Lots of potential and positives about HM Warm Spa, with a few peculiar parts as well. I had a horrible right sided neck cramp thanks to my contorted sleeping positions, and needed a quality massage stat. HM Warm Spa was super accommodating despite me randomly walking in on a Wednesday, and was able to provide a full hour deep tissue massage with Mary. Mary was excellent in terms of both strength and technique; very strong and able to keep up the deep tissue massage during the full hour. The ambiance and apparent cleanliness of the establishment seems fine, other than my skin issue below - as far as I can tell everything is cleaned/organized/attended to between each massage. There are some individual rooms and rooms with several tables in them. So, although the massage was pretty darn awesome, I had difficulty directing Mary to the aforementioned kinks on the right side of my neck and shoulder. I don't know if it had to do with her handedness or the language barrier, but she overly focused on the left side of my neck/shoulders/upper back, immediately overworking them from the start of the massage. By far she spent much more time on the left side, and twice during the massage I had to point out that I wanted it more on the right. I dunno, perhaps my left side felt more tense to her, but even the number of strokes and time on each side heavily favored the left. Or maybe it was the language barrier. Don't get me wrong, it was still great - a really wonderful massage overall, but not exactly where I needed the focus. Finally, after the massage I broke out in small flat pimples for three days, only on the areas at which my face was touching the massage table face hole. There were clean towels on the face hole, and then paper towels covering these as well, but I can't deny the fact that my usually not-sensitive face had a super weird pimple-y rash within an hour of returning home, in the exact same areas that were resting on the table. Pricing was a little weird - I was definitely told $50 for 1 hour on the phone, with $40 for half an hour (which is probably all I needed), which is a bit incongruent from what's on their website. Then when I got there, I was told that it was $60 an hour, which was consistent with what they actually had in-house. The "extreme value" massage for $25/hour that is on their websites is also not present on their menu in the store. Eh, whatever, but the inconsistency is a little off-putting. However, pricing is overall great - you really are hard-pressed to find few places that offer masseuses as skilled as Mary for what is basically a dollar an hour. All in all, I'd definitely give HM Warm Spa another shot, but probably ask instead for a foot massage or a general neck/back massage rather than focus on a specific area. read more

Great couples massage! Amy was wonderful when we arrived and our two masseuses were amazing- May and Mary! Can't wait to go back!!

My husband & I visited Pasadena last week, and had a couples massage. The price was reasonable, even with factoring in a tip. We had never tried the hot stone before as it is not offered often were we live, and it was amazing! The owner Amy was very kind & flexible when booking our appointment. I had Anna for my massage and my husband had Linda, we were both impressed! And after small airplane seats and traveling, we should have come sooner in our trip & booked the 90minute massage. We have both got many massages before & this experience is in our favorites for sure! We hope to return back when in California : D read more

I am finally writing a review for this awesome place! After coming here 3-4 times, I feel that I should write one. I was brought here by my friend. I have only tried the couples massage(we split the price). $100 for 60 minutes plus I tip my masseuse $10. It is a full body massage from head to toe and hot stones. They give you a private room upstairs with a shower for the couples massage, so you can shower and rinse off the oil after the massage. Very very relaxing. I've had different masseuses each time and I always forget their names! I haven't found a favorite one yet! I like my massages on the soft spot and each time they are able to release my muscles. You will come out feeling new and relaxed! There is only street parking. The few times I came, I am able to find parking within the block. I always call and make an appointment and each time they are able to fit me and my friend in, so that is awesome. They are very nice and everyone speaks pretty good English. The massage spa is very clean and everyone is very professional. I highly recommend coming here! read more

First timer at this place- My husband and I went here based on the reviews, the front lady desk was very nice and friendly. She "accommodated us" as a last minute appointment. Appointment was at 9:30, she said to come in a little early so we showed up around 9:20. They didn't start until 9:40. By start I mean when they took us to the room for a 30 min foot massage. We had our feet soaking for 10 minutes and then the massage started (9:50), by 10:10 we were moving to the other room for the body massage. They started the body massage around 10:15 and by 10:35 we were done!!! In between the massage the lady would go grab towels, lotions, you name it, so it was never a constant massage. We paid $50, each for maybe a 40 min massage total, when it was supposed to be a 60 min. We paid, accepted it, and never going back again! The lady that did my massage was very good except that I didn't get her name or even remember her face. I'm an enemy of bad reviews BUT we relied on the other reviews for a not so good service read more

Went to HM Warm Spa for a 90 minute massage. They did a perfect job getting all the knots out in my neck, shoulders, and back. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to get massage work done.
