One word - TOM! I scheduled a massage earlier in the day at HM Warm Spa. I have been having crazy shoulder and neck pain (and my chiro is out of town until next week). I had an appt later in the evening (8pm) and when I arrived, staff welcomed me and the receptionist confirmed my appt and led me upstairs to a room. She asked if I wanted a male or female - because of how I was feeling, I did not care. I heard the knock on the door and in walked Tom. Very nice, asked me questions and off we went! I explained that i was having shoulder and neck pain and boy oh boy did he take care of me. He worked out a couple of areas and really took the time to concentrate on the areas. There was some pain but not enough to make me tell him to stop! 90 minutes of sheer bliss and when he brought in the hot stones - I was done! 2nd time here and they are fantastic!! As another reviewer said it's almost impossible to have less than a perfect massage here because they ask you how the pressure is and actually listen when you say which part of your body you want to focus on. 10/10 for the massages and my boyfriends as well. Both times we've come we leave feeling like jello in the best way. Also love the woman at the front, I believe she's the owner and she is funny and prioritized your experience. Came in the evening and plenty of parking was available in the lot nearby. We were a few minutes late but had no hassle once we got in and were shown right to our rooms/given instructions and even upgraded to a 90 min. The massage started out w/ a towel on and decent pressure used to get my back warmed up for the real treatment and settled in. One thing I do wish is that there was maybe a bit more airflow as it was somewhat hot in the room, but aside from that, the ambiance was good. Once the oil was lathered in, I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't need to even ask for any pressure adjustments. Everything pressure-wise was spot on and the masseuse didn't linger too long on any particular area. My favorite part was honestly my lower back and sides, I'm not sure if she was using her elbow (maybe even knees at some point?) but whatever it was felt good and she maintained the same steady pressure throughout. Additionally, if you like hot stones this place used them thoroughly, piling them up on my back (over a towel so it didn't burn my skin), then eventually using them as they cooled down to rub into my back/legs/feet. I would've liked it if maybe they did the hands a bit more though but overall it was a good use of stones. For the finisher, I turned over and I'm fairly sure at this point I was knocked out. The head and neck massage were excellent and my feet felt like they were in heaven. All in all, it was 90 minutes of excellence and the owner was very kind, highly recommend this place. read more

I usually love this place, but I also only go to MAY! Today, I only wanted a foot massage that's it however, the masseuse didn't understand and the massage wasn't good. I basically paid $40 for an awful massage. To top things off the owner wasn't there when it was time to pay and the masseuse who didn't deserve 15% didn't have the correct change I needed for a $20 so, she got an undeserved 15%. So this is NOT the place for a foot massage. Full body, maybe but specific, focused massage this isn't it. And you are forced to tip while the women gather around laughing because they don't have change. Such a frustrating, unfulfilling and not relaxing experience. read more

Not sure why this place has such rave reviews. Customer service: 0 Stopped by on my lunch break to make an appointment for later the same day. I walked in and all three women at the front stared at me, until I said hello, I'd like to make a massage appointment. One of them handed me a brochure and said which one, I chose and was asked what time, and what's my phone number. Ok, I see none of them were the receptionist, so while not the warmest welcome, I still book the appointment. I was also never asked my name, which I thought interesting. See photo - At 330, an hour before my scheduled appt, I got the first 3 texts and phone call. At 1 min to my appointment, I got the last text and another call. I walk in at my scheduled time and I'm asked if I'm my phone number, since they obviously don't have my name...great customer service there. Massage: 2 Now, for the massage...I'm expecting a form or at the very least someone to ask where I'd like the massage focused...nope. The only question asked before beginning, as I'm face down, is regarding pressure. It was very much a pre determined routine that she stuck to, pressure was ok, but no effort to get out knots. She also would leave the room unexpectedly for a towel or rocks, but there was no communication about this, just the door opening and closing. I hate to leave a bad review because the massage overall wasn't bad. Honestly during my massage I was thinking " Wow this feels great. She's getting a lot of the knots on my back." I booked a 60 min massage and I got the full 60 mins but What lead me to leaving only one star was the fact that I felt like I was being rushed to get out of the massage room. I've been to ALOT of massage places and this was the first time I felt they were trying to get me the hell out of there and pay. Usually after a massage the lady who did my massage would step out of the room and wait outside until I was ready to come out. This place made me feel uncomfortable because as I was getting dressed the receptionist lady popped her head in and ask " Are you ok?" I was pretty startled that she popped her head in. I was just in my bra and leggings. After that she closed the door and as I was putting my sweater on she opened the door again and started spraying the room with disinfectant? And started to strip the massage table. I put my shoes on quickly and I stepped out because I felt like I was in the way. I realized they were rushing me out because there was a man waiting on the couch for his massage. That honestly upset me because I was trying to have a relaxing day and I felt relaxed after my massage but it was quickly ruined by the receptionist trying to rush me. Another thing that I was confused about is that I booked a 60 min Body Massage and the night before my appointment I got a text I assumed the massage was 60 dollars w/ hot stone massage. When I went to pay the receptionist told me it was 90 dollars. I still paid + gave tip but I'm honestly confused on how it went from 60 to 90 dollars? First, I don't like leaving bad reviews and let me lead with I thought for the price the massage was great. Especially being a regular at The Now it's a quick place to get a back fix. But unfortunately, the establishment didn't get the proper massage minute down when I made an appointment for 90minutes. The masseuse did a full 60min, which I enjoyed but once they realized they made the mistake they of course asked me to come back in to get my feet rubbed down for 20min which essentially ruined my pants from the oils they used since they told me I didn't need to take my clothes off to finish the massage that they got wrong. So at first I was not that pleased because there was hardly any communication with front desk, the bedding and towel felt a little damp and there was no blanket to get under, just a towel. BUT...then I proceeded to have the best massage of my life- so yes 5 stars! Summer is SO talented. I work out a lot and I have issues with my neck and lower back. She noted that my lower back and neck were very tight on her own. It felt like a sports massage bc she was getting into all the muscles as apposed to just rubbing over them. I was in a rush, so I went to another place on Colorado Blvd. Average massage at that other place. Fast forward to today. Just got back from July 4th weekend out of town. I wanted another massage. This time, HM Warm Spa was available. She told me to come in now if possible. I got the 90 minute fully body massage. $80. Totally loved it. Included hot stones. I asked masseuse to give extra focus to my head, neck and shoulders. Now I feel amazing, and will be coming back. The front desk woman was awesome too. Very personable, and welcoming. I saw the negative reviews here on Yelp. But my experience was totally good. For all the cheap bastards, take care of the therapist who takes care of you! I'm a firm believer in tipping up to 50% if the massage and therapist are great. And here, it was really great! read more

Ever since I had moved to the area, I was in search for the best place for a massage. I've been to so many establishments and HM Warm Spa was my favorite! I haven't been in a while because I had signed up for a ME (Massage Envy) membership (WHY??? I got suckered in, but it ends this September and I'm going to have it terminated). Every time I've been here, I've been a walk-in and I've been placed in the same room upstairs. I remember my first time here, I had taken advantage of the showers after my session. I personally like how we are given the option to undress to what makes us feel comfortable. Other places I've been to either did not have private rooms (so you wore your clothes and you were so close to other customers, I felt so uncomfortable there). I always get the full body massage - 90 minutes for $80 ($79.99). Its such a good deal in my opinion because at ME, I'm paying $70 for 60 minutes and they deduct 10 minutes I believe for the beginning of your session and 10 minutes for checking out (maybe its 5 minutes each, 10 total, but that time gets taken from your "hour" appointment which I don't agree with. If you're short on time and would rather get in an hour massage, at HM Warm Spa it will cost you $60 ($59.99) *note: these prices do not include tax or tip. Card or cash -- you're able to tip on your card if you didn't want to do cash. They're so welcoming here and they really do such an amazing job on my full body massage. I love how I've never had any issues being a walk-in and how I've continuously received the same service each visit. Just took my mom to get 90 minutes body massage. It's one of the best massage I got in a while. Not just that but the facility is clean and Amy the owner who greets us was very friendly and professional. She make sure we had a good massage after we were done. I got Lu Lu and oh boy she's so good and strong. She always checked on me to make sure the pressure was good.
