I'm writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the abysmal service I received from this repair company. The technician was not only unprofessional but also rude and dismissive. After paying for the repair, I was left in the dark, with no communication or updates on the status of the job. I had to wait for a month to hear back from them about repairing my washer, and even then, the technician failed to show up on the scheduled day without any notice or explanation. To make matters worse, he has since ignored all my phone calls and text messages, leaving me with no recourse or resolution. I strongly advise against using this company, as their lack of professionalism, courtesy, and respect for customers is appalling. Their behavior can only be described as thoughtless and crooked. It's clear that they prioritize taking your money over providing quality service or maintaining a shred of integrity. I would not recommend this company to anyone, and I hope that others can learn from my negative experience. It's essential to be aware of the potential risks and consequences of doing business with such an unprofessional and untrustworthy company. read more

We are just starting our journey with Alpha Appliances Repair, and so far they have been fantastic! Our home warranty company sent them to assess our washing machine and the technician came the next day. They have been great communicating, and answering my questions via text message in a very timely manner . I look forward to updating my review when everything is completed. So far, so good! read more

The tech came out on a Choice Homewarranty Claim . Took photos, I paid him and never heard back. Didnt leave a reciept or report telling me what next steps would be. After two weeks, I called Choice to get am update and we setteled on a number for the repair. Alpha was emailded by Choice approving the repair. After not hearing from Alpha for three days, I called and they acknowledged that Choice had given the go ahead for the repair, but they had not responded. When I spoke to Alpha, the owner said they had to see if the part was avaialabel. I emphasized that my sotve repair was now three weeks behind and they said they would check with the supply house on when the necessary part would be in and they woudl get back to me, that was five days ago and I havene theard from them at all. Very poor customer service. read more

They have the most unprofessional people working here! Not knowledgeable and most importantly plain rude and disrespectful. They give you a window of 4-5 hours that you NEED to be available and every time they show up without notice or communication 1-2 min before their deadline. Then they threat you that they will leave (even after telling them via iPhone messaging to give at a heads up once in route) because their time is valuable LOL (how ironic) Home choice warranty needs to break this contact with these low life. The guy started calling mother F and these crazy names and words because I called them out on how unprofessional and unorganized they are. I highly recommend staying clear from this company. Look how many bad reviews they. We all can't be lying. read more

Alpha Appliance I had a scheduled appointment but they no called no show and never provided any reason or apology. I waited for hours, wasted my time and money. This company was also contracted for me through my warranty company to repair my dishwasher. The repair person came on time. However, he broke part of the dishwasher door and did not tell me when he left . The dishwasher was running. so I did not notice the problem until later that evening. I texted the company and they did not respond. A part was also ordered, but of course, we have never heard from them. I know mistakes happen, but people need to be accountable when these situations occur. Now we need to replace the dishwasher. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

Our home warranty provider, Choice Home Warranty, connected us with Alpha Appliance Repair, to perform the work on our rattling Samsung electric drying machine. Choice Home Warranty alerted me of my upcoming appointment by email and by phone. The technician from Alpha Appliance Repair contacted me about 10 minutes before he arrived on-site to give a head's up. He arrived within the estimated window of 11 AM to 3 PM wearing correct personal protective equipment. The technician was at the home for about 30 minutes, was knowledgeable about the issue, had the correct replacement parts with him, completed the work independently and swiftly, and was courteous and pleasant throughout. Based on this experience, we would use this company again and recommend to others. read more

They don't respond back until you keep blowing them up. Now it's I will let your warranty company know you want a new stove! I was given this buiness from Home Choice Warranty. I had water in my dishwasher. He came and drained the water and said he has to order a part. The part should take two days to arrive. The order has not arrived and I have not heard from him. Due to the negligance of the worker I now have water damage in my basement due to a leak within the dishwasher. He did not do a through assessment of the issue and now I have a bigger issue. read more

Our Home Warranty company hired this company. Tech came out, diagnosed the issue, collected the deductible, came back and replaced the dishwasher motherboard and the dishwasher still didn't function properly. The Tech ordered another part, we followed up with him via text 3x, and he followed up at his convenience and once being unprofessional. At this point I'm going to take the time contact the States Attorney General , BBB, Consumer Protection Agency, and the Local Chamber of Commerce office to legally deal with this company. They shouldn't be allowed to do business in Maryland or at all. read more

I'm compelled to leave this review, in hopes that my experience will encourage someone to try this company in spite of the other negative comments here ! Choice home warranty contracted this company to repair my dryer and I honestly don't have anything to say. My tech was kind, seemed knowledgeable, and was efficient in fixing my dryer. My only gripes would be the delayed communication, slow response times, and the time slot options! Not enough to deter me from using them again! read more

What can I say Alpha Appliance sent over an excellent technician named Hamza. He called me 60 minutes before he arrived at my parent's house to notify me that he was en route. Some HVAC techs just show up unannounced, which drives me nuts, but what can you do? My parents had a damaged dryer, so they have been taking their clothing to a laundromat to use the dry, but after Hamza came and replaced the faulty thermal fuse, it went back to normal. My parents never got to thank you, Hamza, so they send their best regards. -Dagnchews read more

I WAS TOLD TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE WHEN I ASKED FOR THE TECH TO IDENTIFY HIMSELF. I requested a dishwasher technician from Choice Home Warranty. I received a date that did not work for me so I called the number provided and spoke with Hamza, who changed the date to today 3/31/23 after 1 pm. Today I received a text (not even a call) from a different technician from Alpha Appliance Repair asking if I was available from 11 am to 3 pm. I texted back letting him that I had spoken with Hamza to be available after 1 pm. He said he would let me know in 40 mins. At 1 pm I was finally leaving work when I get a call from Waseem asking if I was home. I explained to him that I was waiting for his message so I was still at work. He bold face LIED to me and said that he texted me that he would be at my home at 1 pm. I have the text message to confirm it! I was concerned to have someone who lied to me, even before the services, come into my home. Once he arrived, he walked up to the door on the phone, I saw no work van (he was actually in a Honda CRV, was in plain clothes, he had no work badge identifying him as a Choice Home Warranty repair person nor an employee from Alpha Appliance; he almost walked in my home without identifying himself, nor showing any form of ID, until I stopped him. I asked for ID and he showed me the Alpha service ticket and rolled his eyes, got very upset, and replied: "I've been texting you all morning and now you want to ask for ID?" I replied, yes and that I was not letting anyone in my home without proper identification. He then told me to find someone else. read more
