For full transparency, however, it is worth noting that this communication came less than 24 hours after I had posted my initial review. The repair technician arrived at my home the same day, and spent approximately 90 minutes going back over the previous repair work and going much more in-depth in this second go-round. After completing the work, he explained what he did, what he found, and then ran a cycle through my dishwasher. The next day, I ran another cycle, and the leaking issue had been fixed. As I am someone who does believe in giving people and businesses second chances and opportunities, and because I have seen them perform excellent and professional work before (see my original review), I am likely to give them my business at least once more to see that this experience is an outlier and not their typical course of business.

I contacted Appliance Repair Services when my Samsung electric dryer stopped heating and I had confidence in Lee from our initial discussion. I appreciate that he provided this feedback on the call so my husband and I could talk through some scenarios that evening (e.g. if the repair price is over $x we'll get a new dryer). Just as Lee said he would do he called me the next day when he was on his way and he was perfectly on time per the time given the day before. Given COVID he wore a mask (as did I) which I appreciated. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to replace the bad heating element. His business description says that he tries to stock commonly needed parts in his van and lucky for me, he had the part that was needed to effect the repair on his first visit. Hooray. I really appreciate the effort that Lee puts into assessing commonly needed parts, ordering them, stocking them and floating the costs. Overall it took Lee an hour to assess, fix and test my dryer for what I thought was a reasonable fee for such high quality service. I told him something is still wrong he said he fixed it and I said okay. The following day I was unable to use it and he came back 4 days to pick it up. I asked him about the craftsman and told him not to fix it again since he told he could get it to start and stopped the leaks and for him to return it when He returned the Husqvarna as well. After about a month he brought back the Husqvarna and not the craftsman and I have been asking him to bring back the craftsman because even the Husqvarna that he brought back was useless and I can't use it. He refused and has been holding my machine hostage. I have called and texted him several times to no avail. He told me that I have to pay for diagnostic fee. I told him I would not pay such because I told him the problem before he picks up and with the unsatisfactory of the Husqvarna I asked him earlier on to returned it because he told me that he has not worked on. When I reminded the lady that THEY cancelled the first appointment and THEY agreed to the next day "early morning" appointment, her response was "well, he can't be there until 1:00pm-5:00pm". There was a medical reason I needed an early morning appointment, but apparently with Mr. Appliance it's all about what THEY want to do (even if you're paying).
