GE Dishwasher repaired reasonably and without excessive waiting time. Very knowledgeable technician. Would recommend to anyone.

Lee's the best technician I've ever dealt with. He diagnosed my dishwasher issue quickly and explained the repair process clearly. Lee is honest because he could have sold me a new pump, and I wouldn't have known the difference. Not only that, he was courteous, knowledgeable, and even showed me how to prevent future issues. The pricing was fair and transparent, with no hidden fees. I especially appreciated that he followed up to ensure everything was still working perfectly. read more

Lee arrived on time and was incredibly friendly. He clearly knew what he was doing. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my washer. He explained the issue in simple terms and even showed me the damaged part before ordering the replacement. No upselling, no surprises just honest professional service. 10/10 highly recommend! read more

I highly recommend Appliance Repair Services!! Lee was extremely timely and professional in repairing my LG (stacked) washer! He was the first to respond to my Yelp inquiry and on a Sunday! He came out the very next day after making a special trip to get the part needed for the washer repair. He even helped my husband and I lift the dryer off the washer! When he opened the washer, he realized that LG had incorrectly stated the part number. Lee made another repair call and then went back to the parts store to procure the correct part. He then installed the new part and tested the system. Such a wonderful experience in getting great customer service!! read more

I didn't have this company come out to diagnose but he was very kind and helpful over the phone to answer all of my questions and help point me in the right direction. read more

Lee at Appliance Repair Services responded promptly to my request for a quote. He stuck a very good balance of professional and personable interaction. He called ahead to ask if he could arrive a few minutes early. When he arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem and recommended his solution. In addition to fixing the initial problem he noticed that the hot and cold water hoses had been reversed when the appliance was installed and corrected it, showing a thoroughness and attention to detail essential to a proper repair. His prices were very reasonable. I strongly recommend his firm and would unquestionably call him again should the need arise. read more

Prompt, courteous, and price was fair. He had the patience of a saint, clearly explaining to me and my elderly tenant, multiple times what needed to be done prior to the repair. Thanks. read more

Bottom Line: Professional, reliable, friendly and efficient. I feel like it is so rare that any service company delivers on their commitments but the service from Lee at Appliance Repair Services was exemplary! I contacted Appliance Repair Services when my Samsung electric dryer stopped heating and I had confidence in Lee from our initial discussion. On the phone he told me some of the issues he'd seen with electric Samsung dryers in the past and what those repairs might cost. I appreciate that he provided this feedback on the call so my husband and I could talk through some scenarios that evening (e.g. if the repair price is over $x we'll get a new dryer). Just as Lee said he would do he called me the next day when he was on his way and he was perfectly on time per the time given the day before. Given COVID he wore a mask (as did I) which I appreciated. He quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to replace the bad heating element. His business description says that he tries to stock commonly needed parts in his van and lucky for me, he had the part that was needed to effect the repair on his first visit. Hooray. I really appreciate the effort that Lee puts into assessing commonly needed parts, ordering them, stocking them and floating the costs. Overall it took Lee an hour to assess, fix and test my dryer for what I thought was a reasonable fee for such high quality service. It feels good to know I have a reliable appliance repair company in my proverbial Rolodex! read more

Lee was great, he was there on time with a text 20 minutes before to give me a heads up. Was a minor ice maker repair and cleaned the coils on my refrigerator. Pricing was fair or good I didn't get multiple quotes. With this guy I would never go anywhere else. I would highly recommend him read more

The switch that enables the drain and spin cycle on my washer failed. They got back to me relatively quickly to schedule an appointment. Once here they immediately diagnosed the problem and replaced the failed switch in short order. Cost was equal or better than similar businesses charge. Overall the quality of the work was outstanding. Definitely will use them again. read more

Lee was very responsive and fixed my dryer quickly. I was nervous that I might need a new one at some point but it's been operating wonderfully since! read more

Excellent communication. Professional. And once the part arrived, I was scheduled promptly and it was installed quickly.

After our dryer stopped working on a Sunday I called appliance repair service first thing Monday morning. I received a call back within 20 minutes of leaving a message and was scheduled for service the next day. Lee was here on time with a call before. He let us know that the problem with our dryer was electrical before he even started to take the dryer apart. I so appreciate the quick diagnosis, the honesty and the prompt service. We will definitely be calling them with any other appliance issues and requesting Lee! read more

Lee is the best at what he does. Used him on two occasions for our elderly stove. He promptly responded to our inquiries and set up home visits to correspond with our mutual schedules. His diagnostic acumen and spot on skill set-with all the right tools-resulted in our total satisfaction on both occasions. He has great technical and interpersonal skills. His services are worth every penny. Wholeheartedly recommend. read more

Lee was amazing. Called promptly and came out the same day. He fixed my dishwasher and also gave us pointers on care of that appliance along with others. He was very reasonable on price. We would use him again and recommend him without hesitation. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Lee! read more

I'm giving two stars because they at least didn't try to take any money from me. However, this company advertises that they repair freezers. Yet, they couldn't be bothered with mine. They wasted my time. I submitted a request for them to diagnose and fix my freezer. I already suspected what the problem was, a leak due to a damaged line that occurred while trying to squeeze the freezer through a narrow doorway during a move. They responded to my inquiry and asked what was going on with the freezer. I explained what happened and what I thought the problem was. I was told that they couldn't be bothered with the job because they "don't do system work." OK, fine. If you didn't advertise that you diagnose and repair freezers, I wouldn't have bothered you at all and neither of our time would have been wasted. I subsequently submitted an inquiry to Ultimate Appliance Repair. They responded promptly, came out and listened to what I told them, checked, discovered and confirmed a leak in the location I suspected, did the "system work" and fixed it quickly and professionally. Ultimate Appliance Repair explained to me that "system work" pertains to anything that requires dealing with the sealed system refrigerant line, such as a bad compressor or leak in the line. Anything that requires opening or working on the sealed refrigerant system (a huge component of freezers and refrigerators!) is "system work." Considering we're talking about freezers here, you'd think that "system work" would be a primary and major aspect of freezer repair for anyone who advertises they are professionals in this arena. So, if you suspect that your freezer or refrigerator has compressor, refrigerant or sealed line leak problems, which could be highly likely, don't waste your time calling these guys. They should add to their advertisement that maybe they can fix your freezer as long as the problem isn't system related. read more

I contacted Appliance Repair Services when my washing machine suddenly stopped working. Lee Moore is everything you could hope for in an appliance repairman. He is punctual, informative, efficient, thorough and helpful. After several attempts to determine whether my 24 year old Kenmore washing machine was repairable, he demonstrated why it was not, then took the time to empty out all of the water still in the tub (when the washer stopped working) so the next work crew wouldn't need to do that (or make a watery mess) to remove that machine. In addition, Lee recommended a new washer based on his years of experience with those washers not needing early or significant repair. Lee is the repairman I call for all of my appliance repairs. read more

Highly recommend! Lee responds quickly and was able to check out my dryer and get it working again in no time. He walked me through everything from diagnosing the problem to replacing the heating element to tips for maintenance. Being a first-time homeowner, I'm used to calling the landlord to handle it, so I appreciate Lee taking the time to explain things in detail and answer all my questions. read more

Great service. What a pleasure! Lee is honest, reliable and communicates!!!! Cannot say enough good things. I also have an oven that works again. Will definitely use his services again. read more

I chose Lee because of other reviews. He was very professional and also wore face mask into our home. We had a 5 year old Kitchen Aid side by side that stopped making ice. We had one prior to this one and it was a lemon. Fortunately, it stopped working before the 1 year warranty was up, so Kitchen Aid had to give us another one. This one worked well for 5 years until the freezer stopped working. We did trouble shoot by turning the refrigerator off and starting back up again but nothing. We waited several weeks before calling Lee. He had to order parts that came to about 500 dollars and we wanted to be sure if these parts didn't work we were not going to eat this. They did not work and he did not charge us for the parts. Put old parts back in and charged for the service call. We ended up having to buy a new fridge. Needless to say not a Kitchen Aid! read more

Had the heating unit in my oven replaced. Super quick diagnosis, ordered the part right away and installed it a few days later! Great service. Professional. Responded quickly! Highly recommend read more

Called them a week ago and left a voicemail because freezer was out. They texted back immediately that they would contact us shortly. Well a week later and still no return call. Lucky for us we figured out the problem ourself. We'll try another company that at least returns their calls next time. read more

Lee is an amazing man. He got back to me immediately when I had inquired about the issue with my fridge at my rental property. I ultimately had to go with someone else for the repair but it wasn't because I didn't want to use Lee, the situation turned more into an emergency and therefore I had to go with another vendor. However, I wouldn't hesitate to call on Appliance Repair Services in the future. They are an outstanding company! read more

I just talked to Lee (I think that was his name?) about replacing the control board on my dryer. I let him know that I had already figured out the problem by looking up the error code and watching YouTube on removal/replacement of the board - and was basically trying to figure out if it would be more cost effective to order the part and fix myself in a few days, or to pay someone to come out today. Aside from being highly responsive to my first call, he was genuinely friendly in explaining his flat rates so it was pretty clear I would be paying more than if I did it myself. Additionally, he recommended a better place to get the part I had already put in an online shopping cart with a different company. I ended up ordering the board from his recommended parts company for about $100 less than what I was about pay for the item in my cart and with luck it will arrive tomorrow (as both he and the guy on the phone w the parts company said there is a chance it could arrive earlier than scheduled). I will definitely be calling on this business when I cannot fix something on my own. I am not a big YELPER - only really post when stuff is REALLY CRAPPY or STELLAR. When a business is this honest and helpful without an expectation of getting paid, but rather focused on building good relationships with potential future customers, they get my five star YELP :) read more

I had an issue with my dryer making a sweeping noise that I noticed on a Wednesday night. Requested a quote fro Appliance Repair Services that night, around 9:30. To my surprise Lee contacted me by phone the next morning before 9:00. I explained the problem and I sent him a picture showing the model number. He said he could come out Friday morning. When he arrived he explained what he expected the problem was and proceeded to open up the dryer to verify. He was right. It needed a new belt and tensioning pulley. He gave the price to fix, which was quite reasonable. When he was done, which included cleaning up the inside of the unit, he also took a quick look at my washer and resolved a problem we had with that too. All in all, Lee is very professional, knows his stuff, takes the time to explain everything, and is very reasonable with pricing. I would use him again and recommend him highly. read more

We found this company through Angie's List. It's locally owned and run by one man, Lee, who is AWESOME. We're going to be calling him for every appliance repair from now on. He charges a flat fee of $85 to come out and address the problem. If parts are needed, he'll also charge for those. He also troubleshooted with me over the phone for free and has just been great all around. The trouble with the Yelp review system is that companies who have a lot of money - and charge a lot of money - get the most reviews, etc. and therefore more attention. I wanted to post this because I'm hoping some of you will come across it and not have to pay the $200-something many others charge on top of parts, etc. We found Lee to be extremely informative, prompt, and personable as well as reasonable in his pricing. A good guy and a good business. read more

I was doing laundry and went to pull it out of the dryer and I noticed the towels were not dry. I went to Yelp and started to read reviews on this place. I so agree with most people on the reviews, he is very personable and friendly and fixed the problem in no time at all. With a reasonable cost. If I have another problem with anything else, I will not hesitate and call Lee. Thanks Lee!!!! read more

Amazing service! We had issues with a dryer and had been dealing with technicians from the manufacturer (GE). They had come out a couple of times but problems were misdiagnosed and were very irresponsible with scheduled appointments. In addition only gave 30 day warranty. We gave up and decided to call Appliance Repair Service. Lee came a couple of days later and accommodated us on his schedule. When he came, within a couple of minutes he opened it up, and found out what the problem was. He explained the problem and what he recommended. Very knowledgeable, responsible, honest, and provided a reasonable quote. No more dryer problems. In addition he gave us a 1 year warranty. Will definitely recommend to anyone! read more

Called Lee for help with our 20 year-old built-in refrigerator. He called me back within 30 minutes on a Friday afternoon from out of town and spent 10 minutes on the phone with me walking through options.... $10K for a new one, $2K for a new compressor, or $0 to try to clean out the air intake and restart it... so far so good with the $0 option. Even if that doesn't last, it's an example of great service. read more
