Let me tell you how impressed I was with HK burger house. Right from the beginning, we were greeted right away and seated. Within minutes our server Mike came He gave us a break down. Since it was our first time there I wanted to know more about the burgers and he was very thorough. I haven't had a burger in forever. when he came over with theses two wooden trays and our food I was amazed but I was more amazed when I sunk my teeth into the most delicious burger I have ever tried. The onion rings and fries were so tasty too. I was so impressed that I'm coming back here sooner than later. Thank you Mike for making our experience incredible. read more

So I've been here pre-covid and recently, so I'll be reviewing my recent experience. Came on a Saturday night with group of friends and already knew there was going to be a wait- no biggie. It was only a 20 minute wait and we got seated on the high chairs. The food is your typical sports bar food, greasy and filling. The drinks were amazing and made everyone have a good time. The food took long to come out, but we didn't mind as we were busy chatting. The waiter was nice, but slow. Don't know if it was a fault of his own or beyond his control. Nevertheless, the night was great and would definitely come back- different food option though. Probably something lighter. read more

I arrived on a Friday afternoon; it was pretty active; the bar server was nice & the food came out fast. I ordered the hot wings which were really dry. The taste was okay but they definitely needed more sauce. I actually ordered 2 orders of wings & they both were the same... dry... I also ordered the chicken mini monfongo & they were also really dry. The chicken was dry & there wasn't enough pico on them. I had to squeeze lemon on the to give them a better flavor. I hate to sound picky cause it's really not the case. Overall it's a cute spot, dry food & decent service. Not enough for me to return read more

The ambience was very warm, and cozy. The H.K. cheeseburger was very, very good. I did not get my mayonnaise on the side like I asked but, the flavor of the cheeseburger made up for that. My experience was a good one. I will make it to H.K. Grill for a Jets game one Sunday. read more

My family and I have definitely named HK as one of our faves. Food, drinks and service are usually great. We were very disappointed this past weekend. My family and I arrived for a late lunch and ordered quite a bit of food. We noticed a hair in the plate of wings. We made our waitress aware and said, "oh I'm sorry about that". She took the wings away and that was it. I then asked for the bill and to our surprise the wings were never taken off or even discounted. To make matters worse my husband didn't realize we had already paid the auto added gratuity of $20 to our bill and he added an additional $20 tip... Our waitress received a $40 tip and in our opinion didn't handle the "hair in food" situation well at all. We hope the servers are trained better in handling these kinds of situations. read more

I've Come here on several occasions and come away sorry every time. It is a nice looking bar, Cool ambiance. I really wanted to like this place, However every time I've visited this establishment I've been met with the worst service I have ever encountered. Just horrendous. The food is OK but not worth enduring such horrible treatment when you're spending money at an establishment. Don't come here. There are plenty of other worthy establishments to patron in the area. Somethings are just standard in service industry. No patron should ever have to ask for napkins, utensils or water. These are just things you provide your customers. I had a bartender look me in the eyes while I wave them down and walk right by me. I then waited 15 minutes to order a beer , but she had plenty of time to respond to texts on here phone. Just a horrible experience. read more

Excellent customer service and wings! The bartenders and managers always look out for their customers.

I was trying to try something new for my kids. Stop by the place barely find parking. Order two burgers, cost me $47. It said it was freshly made. But yet burgers are dry, don't look like they are freshly cooked, bacon appear to be pre-cooked, curly fries are cold. Sorry, it doesn't live up to it statements. First and last... read more

We ordered appetizers (chicken quesadillas) entrees I got scrimp scampi linguini and my boyfriend ordered steak. His came with two sides he could choose from vegetables (asparagus and broccoli) or salad, mashed potato, baked potato. He opted for a loaded baked potato (they accommodated it for him) and mac and cheese. For dessert we ordered a hot lava molten cake it came with ice cream. I ordered a Oreo cake. We did sample sangria (white and red) I got the red and he got the white. Our server was great They do have more beer and draft selections. I didn't check for signature cocktails since it was early in the day. I love the food and service East Tremont, Bronx has a lot of newer spots. read more

Food was good. Service was decent. Bar looks nice. The drinks were actually better than expected. Will try again for happy hour!

Everything went well the food is amazing and the bartender is very nice and amazing the service is the best I've seen

We were passing by and decided to give this place a try. The place looks great. Pretty simple looking, tv's for watching sports and open space which I did like. Unfortunately our food did not fit "great" but it was ehh. We had a pretty simple order fried calamari and a order of mild buffalo wings. The calamari were very small had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't small onion rings. It was ok. The buffalo wings were served with no dipping sauce or carrots/celery. They were not very hot, just lukewarm but they would have been great if it was hot. I asked for water (please don't get water there, it was disgusting). I end up getting a Pepsi (I think). It was flat. This place does have potential. Just wasn't our day. I do hope it gets better because I did like the ambience. . read more

Poor service! One server on a Sunday! As I watched the manager sit on his rear end.. He finally got up after I mentioned to him that we have been waiting 15 minutes for someone to serve us.. his excuse wise we only have one server today so then I said to him while if I was a manager, I wouldn't be sitting down. I'd be helping that one server. read more

Great food & Service , love coming here with friends for taco Tuesdays and sporting events.

This place was really average, not bad, just really average. But what really stood out is the limited vegetarian suggestions and the miscommunication on the menu. - There current menu does not include what's in any of the dishes. - The Vegetarian BURGER is mislabeled as the "Beyond Veggie Burger" - As someone new to this location, we found this very deceiving and left very disappointed. Everyone was very nice, but I probably wouldn't return. read more

Food and Drinks were delicious, but Service.... Service was terrible, they need a lot of help. The server gave me my drink and my husband waited 15 min for his. Never have I experienced the server only giving one drink at a time. We also saw the manager, and he didn't do much. Didn't check in with anyone, which is very disrespectful. All in all just do take out, don't both yourself with coming here. read more

HK Kitchen & Draft House - Bars Near Me - Bronx, New York

I can see why this restaurant had barely any stars. I went there last night because my good freind said this spot was lit with great drinks that come in a pouch. I guess the pouch was what excited him about this place. For a Friday night the place was pretty empty, so that was the 1st thing that caught my attention. Now the area where this is at is pretty busy with much traffic. The music was the bomb no doubt. Great up to date music. Loud and crisp. So the dj was definitely on fire. We sat at the bar because we weren't going to eat, only drink. Lord when I tell you we sat at a bar that wasn't even packed what so ever and the waiters that serve drinks in that middle area of the bar, pfft, they were so inattentive. We waited for over 20 minutes for them to even glance our way to order. After 20 more minutes no1 to take our order. Took forever and more to get 1 corona beer and then took another 20 minutes b4 he finally remembered to bring my freinds drink. Mind you, served in a glass cup informing us after that they don't have anymore pouches.. so we went there pretty much for an expensive corona beer and a margarita (not in a pouch). Service was slow as snails on a not so busy night, so I can just imagine it being slower service once packed with customers. My freind claims he loves this spot but the service SUCKS! he mentioned this happens all the time. As for me. Ill be going elsewhere along the strip of tremont. Because my time is valuable and last night was a waste. 3 stars are all for the Dj who played bomb music. read more
