My party of 3 enjoyed a Signature Flight ($35), Adobe Flight ($30), Charcuterie Board ($28), and Margherita Pizza ($20). We enjoyed both flights as well as everything on the Charcuterie Board, besides the wine jam as it was a little too strong for us. We also surprisingly enjoyed the Margherita Pizza, which was flavorful and the ingredients tasted very fresh. The staff were all very sweet and patient with us when walking us through the menu. Overall, we absolutely loved the experience and the ambiance, felt like we were in a fairytale with all the greenery!

My review regards an interaction on the business side: we fell into a bit of a bait and switch. After the tasting we were talked into joining the club, with assurances that they would contact us to select the wines we would received and also that if it wasn't for us, it was easy to drop out. I honestly forgot all about it. Two months later, I received a receipt for a wine order about to be shipped, so I contacted them to see if I could stop the order because I actually don't drink these days. I got the rather surly and impertinent response "But you barely joined a month ago." The cost of the "complimentary tasting" turns out to have been a two-shipment minimum. I don't recall hearing that but had I I probably would not have agreed--I'm not into these kinds of commitments. In short, a caution about signing up for their club. They'll be unusually desperate to keep you.

We first discovered their wines at a local coffee shop back home in San Diego, so when we realized they were based in Los Olivos, we knew we had to stop on our trip. The tasting room is stylish, warm, and inviting. It has that modern, researched, intentional look I gravitate toward in wine brands. I also love that they source their grapes locally and offer light, refreshing chillable reds and natural wines. Their chillable Pinot Noir was such a pleasant surprise -- I don't usually like traditional Pinot, but this one was vibrant, fresh, and so easy to drink. I had a great conversation with the server about the wines I enjoy, how the wine industry is shifting, and the growing appeal of refreshing, bright, natural‑leaning wines. You can really feel their passion for what they do -- it comes through in the wine, the service, and the whole experience. My partner, my pup Enzo, and I had an amazing time stopping in for a glass. Such a fun, thoughtful, dog‑friendly spot in Los Olivos. Would absolutely return.

He also wanted to make sure the bride in our group left with a better impression, so he's sending her a few bottles of wine. We really appreciate him reaching out and making the effort to make things right. It leaves a much more positive experience of the winery and the experience they want to provide! This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had at a winery. Our group of 12 made a reservation in advance after spending the day wine tasting at other wineries. When we arrived and gave our reservation name, the employee looked at us and said, "Oh... that's it?" because our group was smaller than they expected. Once we were seated, we decided to start by ordering one bottle of wine to share and then planned to order more after reviewing the menu. When we ordered, our server responded, "Only one bottle? Huh... big spenders," before walking away. The comment made our entire group uncomfortable and immediately changed the tone of our visit. We had originally planned to order more, but after that interaction, we decided we'd rather finish the one bottle and go somewhere else. While we were sitting outside enjoying the live music, no one checked on our table. When a few people from our group went inside to ask for water, they were told they could buy water there, but that it would actually be cheaper to go to the convenience store across the street, which the staff recommended instead. I've never experienced anything like that at a winery. When we asked for our check, the server again commented, "So you're really only getting one bottle?" She then informed us there was a 25% surcharge for walk-ins. I responded that we were glad we had made a reservation, and she made a point of saying she wasn't going to charge us the fee, as though she were doing us a favor. Because the service had been so uncomfortable from start to finish, I left a 15% tip on our bottle of wine. As we walked out, the server loudly called after us, "Bye, four dollars!" referring to the tip we had left. I understand that when a group of 12 walks in, servers may have different expectations, but we made our reservation in advance, were polite throughout our visit, and fully intended to order additional bottles. Unfortunately, the dismissive comments and poor service made us decide to leave after just one. That final comment as we walked out confirmed everything we had experienced during our visit. We visited several other wineries that day and had wonderful experiences everywhere else. Unfortunately, this was the only stop where we felt unwelcome and judged for how much we were spending. There are so many fantastic wineries in the area with welcoming staff and genuine hospitality. I'd recommend skipping this one and spending your time and money elsewhere.

He was very friendly and knowledgeable not only about the wines, but about the estate and the land. They only take reservations, which makes sense since they probably would want to control the number of people at any given time and therefore enhance the wine tasting experience. The wines were delicious; I was particularly fond of the Syrah and up getting 3 bottles (which waived my tasting fee). I'm told they have some events during the summer months (live music, food trucks etc.) so I'll be sure to check it out next time. Overall, one of the best experiences I've had so far.
