I had my kitchen cabinets refaced about a year ago and I am dissatisfied. I wen't with Pacific…read moreKitchens because of the great reviews, but unfortunately my experience didn't meet my expectation. The job took a bit of time to complete because the installer only works half days, but I easily overlooked that because I cared more that the job was done right. After completion I realized the cabinet face frames were not covered in any laminate material. They were left bare leaving the wood exposed and prone to damage. When I finally got in contact with Lynn (first I messaged Tom and I believe Glen(?) with no response) she stated that face frames are considered a part of the interior cabinet which is not included in their refacing process and that the refacing only includes exterior surfaces. My question is, If this was not included in the process, then why remove the old face frame material, only to leave the wood bare. If refacing the frame was not included, then don't remove what is currently there, especially if the cabinets are being refaced the same color. Furthermore, the old face frames on those particular cabinets were still in good condition. This makes no sense to me and I simply cannot recommend this company with such lack of morality and care.

I spent 15 minutes looking at options, then asked her name. Spent another 30 minutes looking around. Vanessa said she couldn't figure out where any slate was located in the showroom. This is why, for obvious reasons, it's critical to work with a company and a project manager, who has both the reputation and experience to work through this journey together. Remcon, and especially our project manager Simo somehow managed to exceed our expectations. There is a lot of moving parts when dealing with a renovation, and what could potentially be the most important factor in finding the right company and PM is to find someone that invests their time and care into the project like it's their own house. Tackling through issues coming up, explaining situations on why more money is needed on a particular job , details plays a huge role for the two sides to understand why a particular solution is needed on a specific problem. There will be bumps along the way. Remcon and Simo were able to not only makes the bumps easier to cross, they educated our own knowledge about a house renovation, and led the charge in making us feel at peace along every step of the way. Simo and Remcon, thank you for your hard work and dedication to the project. Simo is also a comedian, or tries to be, so he may succeed at making you laugh as well, usually about 30% of the time. To any one, considering a housing renovation, choose wisely, but from experience Remcon should be on the top of your list.
