I have to say with the exception of Cassie the whole experience wasn't great. We first started off with Chuck who when I didn't agree with his design input treated me like I was a mere peasant. I didn't feel listened to and when I knew what plumbing would work in my building. By the way Chuck my inlaws bought a fancy fridge from you and this is the way I was treated. No thanks. I did end up purchasing my plumbing supplies from Cassie, but realized that they wouldn't meet my needs. Easy to return, but come on a return penalty! Um no thanks. Out of principle I did return everything I could and purchased the same items from another vendor who was less and happily took my returns no questions asked. This is the last time doing business with Ferguson especially now that I know their return policy is terrible. read more

I can't say enough good things about Thu Nhan "Tutu" Ho at Ferguson. I contacted her needing a replacement for a damaged floating shelve -- not exactly a fun situation and completely our fault-- and Tutu turned it into a genuinely pleasant experience. She was so sweet and thoughtful, taking the time to really understand what I needed and making sure everything was taken care of. You could tell she actually cared, not just about getting the order right, but about making sure I felt good about the whole thing. If you're visiting Ferguson, do yourself a favor and ask for Tutu. Update: I called Ferguson Home a second time and spoke with a nice man by the name of Brad who understood my complaint and fixed the following issue. Also, unbeknownst to me until I went to edit this review I had received a message through Yelp from James Backer, branch manager at Ferguson San Diego, who was going to correct the issue. So, all in all I am pleased. Purchased $1800 worth of Delta products. Was told I would be charged a nominal return fee for anything I didn't want/need. What I was not told is there would be a separate return fee for items that were shipped separately, something I had no control over. Items arrived sporadically, not altogether. I wanted to return one item and exchange one for a different size, but was told that was not an option, that I need to return the 2 very flimsy Delta items & pay $7.45 per item even though they are going to the EXACT same address. I will not be doing business with this place again and I suggest you stay away. I am so pissed. read more

Tutu is THE BEST! Always so friendly, helpful and willing to go above and beyond. She helped me for months ahead of purchase and has now helped me through my remodel to fine tune purchases as the project comes to fruition. I ended up going with high end finishes but never once felt any pressure to do that. She clearly laid out all comparable options so I could make the choice. No customer service, employees and orders did not know about parts, I ordered a full set on a automatic faucet when I receive my order some of the items were missing when I requested to send them to me. They didn't not know what to do. I am still waiting for an answer, he has been three weeks now,,but no one has bothered to contact me in anyway I am really disappointed on this. Dealing with Ferguson is an exercise in futility. I ordered two identical sinks and two identical faucets from them. They showed up; great. I ordered another identical sink and another identical faucet. They said the faucet was on backorder. I told them to cancel it immediately because I needed it immediately. They are now telling me that it got delivered when it did not get delivered. I am having to deal with numerous emails from them to the point that it is pissing me off to such a degree that I decided to write this review. DO NOT BUY FROM FERGUSON! I also discovered that the faucet was $100 more on their site than it was on the site that produces the faucet. They overcharge and they can't even keep track of their inventory. She never checked back to tell us she was still waiting to see if someone could help us. We just smiled and waited patiently. Another employee asked us if we needed to help. She prefaced by saying that she has an appointment already scheduled. I told her politely that we already knew what we wanted. "Oh," she got up and walked over. We pointed out what we selected and she explained that she could order it and have it delivered next Wednesday. After the transaction, all we got was a quick thank you and she turned back to chit chat with the lady at the front desk. We purchased from here in the past and this will be our last time here. Working with Ferguson's has been the absolute worst! I would never ever recommend this place to my friends or family and would let them know there are better places to get all your remodel needs. The salespeople ignore you if you don't have an appointment. Even then, it doesn't get any better. I was working with Sharon as my salesperson and she couldn't be any more difficult to contact, especially after you pay. My husband and I spent so much on kitchen and bath hardware and the customer service is nowhere near the price. We received a wrong item and Sharon was not only not apologetic, she never reordered the replacement like she said she would and now I'm stuck waiting on a back ordered item that I should have received months ago. I will never buy anything from Ferguson again. I thought that shipping from a high end showroom would equate to good customer service. That is not the case. My experience was a nightmare. I purchased over $10k in fixtures through build.com. we are still having some of these items installed so not sure of their quality. Boxes that arrived were in rough shape. I'm hoping they work well because the customer service at Ferguson is so below par!! The real story starts with a vanity I purchased from the showroom in San Diego on Mercury Street. I went to the showroom to get some help from a consultant. Her name was Jenna. I didn't really like any of the vanities that she showed me. However, I found one online that looked amazing and perfect for my bathroom. I purchased it on a Black Friday sale. Jenna said that it was best for me to order through her and not build.com as if there were any problems it would be easier to deal with through their showroom. This could not be further from the truth! I was told that it will take three to six weeks to be delivered. 4 weeks after purchasing the vanity I received a phone call from Jenna saying that the vanity was discontinued. I was devastated as I loved the vanity. She told me she thought she could source the different parts and put it together. However, she wasn't sure how much it would cost. This brought up a red flag as I thought they were going to try and charge me more as I had bought it on sale during Black Friday. She told me she would try and see if she could still get the vanity I had to contact her several times. I never got a definitive answer. It's just left hanging. Meanwhile, this vanity was holding me up from moving back into my house which meant more rent. I had to pay as I could not move into my house without a functioning bathroom. Months later and waiting for the vanity and decide to call the main number and not go through. Jenna, I find out that there is a vanity in LA 2 hours away. No when I wanted to deliver. This was frustrating as Jenna knew we needed this as soon as possible. I had been waiting months for this vanity. read more
