Great service & the food is freaken amazing!!! I honestly could eat here every day!!!

Where the co owner was, was a jerk for context a girl came up to me and asked me to turn my volume down. Keep in mind there was music blasting in the restaurant and I'm a minor so my family said that she shouldn't be talking to me and just talk to my parents and the manager told us to leave. this place used to be so good now it's disgusting do better read more

I have been trying to gate keep Hiroba Sushi, but a place like this needs to be known. Hiroba Sushi is located off of Eastern, towards Anthem. If you live around Anthem, you know there are sushi restaurants in every strip mall/shopping center. With so many to choose from, it's hard to stand out from the crowd. What makes Hiroba special? It offers black rice with all their sushi rolls. Black rice, or forbidden rice, is delicious, a little nutty, and filled with nutrients like fiber and antioxidants. Hiroba does not offer AYCE but they have great lunch and dinner specials which include tempura, miso soup, salad and choice of california rolls or spicy tuna. Besides tons of different rolls, they also offer a wide variety of entrees, noodles, and a few korean entrees, as they are Korean owned. Our favorites to order are the Sushi Dinner special and also the special box combo. Service is super friendly and I loved that on our last visit they made sure to let us know there was a slight price increase as inflation driving up costs everywhere. Appreciate the transparency. read more

We gave it another try, and everything was a lot better. It was a huge difference. I was pleasantly surprised. I must admit the food was too good not to come back. After the kind response the owner left it was worth trying again. I felt welcomed by all the staff this time. The service was wonderful, and we enjoyed the experience in total. I would definitely recommend this sushi restaurant now. read more

We found this spot on Yelp and it had good reviews. The black rice intrigued us in particular. The location is humble but the food is not. Absolutely delicious. The black rice sushi dishes were particularly sublime. The fish was fresh and all prepared with care. Everything was nicely spiced. Plenty of pickled ginger which is sometimes short in other restaurants. And the staff was terrific. Attentive and friendly. Answered all our questions knowledgeably. The owner came by our table. Extremely nice gentleman. We don't live in Las Vegas but will definitely return here if we're in the area. read more

Great sushi place to visit when you're in Henderson! I came family to see my godfather, who uses a walker. When we arrived it was right at the Friday night rush, but the staff accommodated us and we only had to wait five minute before setting a table. Since I'm not a local here, I haven't been to many sushi places, but the flavors are fantastic. Some of my favorites from this visit were the lemon roll with salmon, lemon and ponzu sauce and the purple dream, which was from their black rice sushi menu. The food was so good and even though we only had rolls, I have a feeling we'll be back. The owners are super friendly and i found that we're both BTS army so that was fun to chat about. I look forward to trying more of their rolls on my next visit to NV! read more

First time here and the Food was great. Our entire party of 8 raved about it. I recommend you trying this if you want good sushi rolls.

Very disappointing experience today. I used to love eating at this place but they displayed very bizarre behavior today. A Lady from another table came up to my kid brother and scolded him for his phone volume being too loud (mind you the restaurant speakers are at a pretty high volume) but no problem we asked my brother to turn off his phone but told the lady not to speak to a kid but address the parents first. The lady then complains to the manager about us and the manager suggests that we which are a party of 6 move to a different table? Why do we need to move when we were just minding our own business. We then suggest that if the two lady's are annoyed at us they should move to a different table. The manager then says if we refuse to move we have to leave??? What? read more

Fish was not fresh. Everything had an after taste and was extra fishy. There are ACE places that serve fresher fish. Service was good. Ambiance is cozy and homey. I will not be back. Maybe it's me or they were having an off moment. Idk. read more

it's always really good but everytime i order a pickup order they get something wrong and the girl on the phone today was rude

Wow, what happened with Hiroba? We have been out of town since February and came back yesterday to our favorite sushi spot to find it.... Different. Not all in a bad way to be fair. But what happened to food portions? We have been ordering their RocknRoll roll for years. It used to be a beautifully arranged cucumber wrapped roll full of fresh fish. Yesterday we received a meager looking roll about 2/3 of a normal size with tiny pieces of fish haphazardly sticking out of it. New chef's assistant? Their regular chef was present but we did see a new person behind the counter. Purple dream roll was also not as beautifully presented as it normally is and smaller. The rest was OK. But not stellar as usual. Service was OK with some team members very good and some so so. All servers seem to be new, no familiar faces. read more

The place I usually go to wasn't open, yet, so I decided to check out Hiroba Sushi AND this is a Hidden Treasure! The service is excellent , the chef and his team are amazing, and I'm so happy to have found this little place. Give it a try. You will not regret it! read more

9-21-22: Stopped here and wanted to try some sushi. No AYCE sushi here but they have a lot of varieties there. It is a little pricey, but it's a pretty good place. I tried the Tuki roll and the Touch Down roll. They were both hard to pick up with a chopstick. The Tuki roll kept falling apart from the bottom. The Touch Fown roll was big for each bite. Looking forward to eating there again to try more rolls. read more

I wasn't sure what to expect from "black rice" sushi, but the wife and I didn't have the kids with us and we wanted a sushi lunch. We checked Yelp and this is the spot that intrigued us most. It is only 5 minutes from our house and I'e never had black rice sushi before. I MUST say... This is my new favorite sushi spot. Osaka is still good for a more traditional experience. Hiroba is our new everyday spot. We had one in San Jose and when we moved to Henderson, we hadn't found our neighborhood spot. The people and service here are great. The fish was fresh. The rice was perfectly seasoned. Everything was on point. I'm not sure the black rice tasted that much different, but I think that's the point. It's supposed to be healthier, but still the same texture and flavor. I def prefer black rice rolls over brown rice rolls. Brown rice rolls just don't feel right to me. read more

New hidden gem sushi was really fresh and the black rice just overall has a better taste and feel in my opinion. The fish is fresh and cuts are pretty decent for price point. My only dislike was the garlic tuna as it didn't have much of a garlic flavor. Service was also friendly and attentive! They also offer military discount as well as other promos throughout the week! read more

We have our sushi spot on the Southeast side of town! Tucked away in a shopping center, this place has a wonderful homey feel with family pictures all over the walls. They score high for uniqueness too. Since they serve several tasty black rice rolls & have a variety of gluten free, vegetarian and allergy kind dishes. This trip we tried the following rolls: Galaxy- 3/5 Black lemon- 4/5 The "V"- 4/5 White Spider- 5/5 Mega black- 5/5 Wave crest - 5/5 Service was great and we look forward to trying more rolls on our next trip here. read more

I've been ordering take out from here weekly and it's always consistent. Their black rice roles are great, I've tried nearly all of them at this point. Definitely not a budget type of place you'd typically find in Vegas, so expect great quality and great consistency. Although lately I've been doing take-out, I have dined in a few times during the afternoon, and it's gernally slow, so food comes out relatively fast. Parking is very easy to find throughout the day and night, even for takeout orders. I generally always find a spot at the front. Wish they had a second location closer to me. read more

I've been coming here since they've opened and I absolutely love it. Recently they changed ownership, and although I was worried how that would effect the quality and service, they have definitely exceeded my expectations! I really appreciate the new servers who seem more experienced in the service industry, you can definitely tell the difference. They are more personable, welcoming and happy. The new management are experienced and they definitely care. Shout out to Eddie, Perla, Yoji and Jeff Food is always on point and their music selection as of late is great :) read more

Sometimes, the littlest things can make the biggest difference. They finally swapped out the chairs, which allows us to once again sit at the bar and talk to the staff (Howard and John) while we eat. It may seem like nothing, but this made all the difference in the world. So good to be back at our favorite sushi place! read more

Recently went there as we have had many pleasant experiences there in the past. this most recent visit was EXTREMELY disappointing! we brought our daughter-in-law from Japan, who has visited us there at your restaurant in the past. we had sushi, sashimi and spicy tuna rolls, our said take my word all of the fish tasted OLD. also, your BBQ beef shortribs tasted terrible and full of grizzle. Your tuna rolls were much smaller than in the past and your allotment of , ginger, wasabi, and soy sauce was sparse. Most likely will not come back again this visit was very disappointing! read more

Tucked away in this little shopping center, Hiroba Sushi is a great place to eat. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere and ambiance is nice. Quiet enough to have a nice meal without loud music etc. the food continues to be great. They're one of the few places that I've seen black rice. The service is generally pretty good too. This place has a great menu... huge!!! They have sushi rolls I never seen before. They have rolls for everyone from vegetarian to gluten free. The sushi was fresh and made quick. We tried 2 non- traditional sushi rolls... one that didn't have any rice at all and one with black rice (lobster something). The one with our rice was wrapped on a cucumber and had a great refreshing taste. Loved the flavor. The black rice one was on point too. To me it taste a little bit different than white rice but I would eat it again. The service was decent. I wish the server was a little be more attentive. The food came out quick and it was all good. read more

Yelp has been so reliable when looking for a place to eat and this one was another winner. We were in search of another location when we stumbled upon Hiroba Sushi. Based on reviews I figured it was worth the stop. We were only going to be in town for a few days so I figured we would try different options. Can I say we ate there twice and considered a third visit in the four days we were in Vegas. The food here is sooooo delicious. Not only did they offer my favorite "salmon collar", they also had more than one no rice roll option. We had the Island Breeze, Orange Blossom, Mang in Black (first place we have tried that offered black rice and mangoes in their rolls), Jumping Lobster (bake) and Volcano. The seaweed salad and edamame were just as delicious. Our first visit we were a party of three, and on our second visit we convinced nine more people to join us. Service was amazing both visits. They checked on us multiple times and just made the whole experience an enjoyable one. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend you visit them. read more

What a great little sushi spot! Was looking for a fun sushi place for my birthday and this fit the bill. We went on a Friday night around 6:30/7, part of 5 and we're seated immediately. We ordered a number of rolls, with a heavy emphasis on the black rice rolls. Black lemon, limelight, Mang in black, and adding black rice to blue fin tuna. Delicious and really cool looking! The Black Lemon was my favorite. The citrus was delicious but not overpowering. We also had a number if appetizers, all very yummy. Food came out at a reasonable pace, the price wasn't obnoxious, the quality was very good. We will be back! read more

I came here a few days ago on a date and when i first walked in it was bright and open. Good thing i didn't dress up cause its very chill vibes. I wouldn't go here on a date but with people you know for a while its cool. parking was plenty and there was no wait at the time. Service was great, the ladies that work there were lovely. The lady who was either the manager or owner was so sweet and friendly. She was very hands on in there and helped around the whole restaurant. The food is not all you can eat it was more al a carte. The menu was awesome cause there were pictures of the actual rolls on each item or foods! being able to see a picture of what you are ordering is nice. I love that they have black rice rolls!! they had pages and pages of those options which i was so excited about for sure! I ordered a lobster black rice roll and a regular rice roll that had eel on there. The other rolls we ordered were more warm/hot rolls which tasted great too. All their rolls all tasted AMAZING! i loved it all.. i would definitely come back again to dine here soon! i want to take my sister here when she comes into town to visit me. Im happy to find a place that i consider one of my favorites now. i would recommend everyone to come here and try their food it tastes like quality sushi and i enjoyed the meal a lot. read more
