    Sashimi Salad

The sushi was fresh but I felt like the sushi rice was a lot and kinda hard. My daughter was very happy with her sashimi. Many of our dishes didn't come out. I had to give a few reminders. The lady was the only one serving, taking orders, clearing the tables etc. Definitely overpriced food.

Visiting Medford after 15 years being away. My go to sushi spot is long gone and wanted to find a new one. Hiro sushi is my new sushi spot whenever I come to Medford. Service was great! Ambiance is nice and what you would expect from any other sushi spot. Thinking about going back for dinner. Compared to the sushi spots in Los Angeles this would be added to my "solid" level sushi spots that I could go to pretty frequently. Won't blow your socks off but perfect for every day enjoyment. Glad Medford has some Asian representation!

Wowza.... What an exceptional sushi dinner. We are traveling through Oregon and wanted to seek out some local sushi. Being from California we are spoiled with so much fresh fish. HIRO Sushi however had the freshest fish we have tried. It is apparent that Ryan the Owner has a unique gift and also takes great care in creating each dish. Even the avocado used in two of our rolls had the most excellent flavor. We will definitely be back next time we travel through Oregon and deer highly recommend you don't leave town without giving HIRO Sushi your business!!

    Sashimi Combo A $27.00 (9 pieces *chef's choice)

It's not what it used to be *sadness* No longer a value. Sashimi Combo (9 pieces chef's choice) + miso soup $27.00. Just 3 months ago, the combo included miso soup + salad. I asked our served and she said, "No, my boss won't let us serve salad or rice with the combo anymore." Today the "combo" is just soup. You have to ADD+$3.00 salad or rice. So, the combination of sashimi + miso soup + salad is now $30.00. Gyoza appetizer is a-ok. 6-7 pieces for $12.00 I preferred THIS to the breaded calamari appetizer from the previous visit (think grocery outlet frozen section). Bento box (pick 2 proteins) + salad + rice = $28.00 A LOT of veggies to bulk up the bento box because they have gotten skimpy on the protein. Both the chicken and the beef were tasty, just a really small portion of each on a bed of raw shredded cabbage. Maybe a $12-14 value for lunch, but definitely not what I expected for a $28.00 dinner meal. I feel bad for the younger lady who runs the whole shift by herself :( She could really use some help in the front of house. She's usually on point, but she needs a day off. Good sashimi*thumbs up*

The experience was exceptional! Upon our arrival at 8pm, we had the restaurant all to ourselves. The ambiance was fantastic with tasteful decor and delightful music, creating a comfortable environment. Great deal of attention to cleanliness. While I usually prefer more patrons around to fairly assess the service, we were treated exceptionally well. The service was impeccable, offering great recommendations and being remarkably attentive, going the extra mile to warn us about the spiciness levels. The cuisine was outstanding, beautifully presented, and notably fresh, boasting a variety of exquisite flavors and textures. The menu was extensive, featuring a wide selection of sushi, main courses, starters, and delicious beverages. Our order of a hand roll and four sushi rolls totaled $74. I am quite comfortable spending $20 on a top-tier roll so I consider this place reasonably priced for the quality it delivers. It is truly worth it. For optimal service, I recommend dining after 6:30 pm. This has definitely become our preferred dining spot without a doubt.

Super fresh and delicious. Poke salad was delicious, Ikura salmon roe. Everything was very fresh.

Delicious sushi HIT THE SPOT Little expensive but sushi always is so I don't care about that

Sushi spot in Medford with a creative and original menu. Ordered take out on a Friday- place wasn't empty but not especially full. The sushi was okay overall. I got the medford roll and the torched fish and sauce topping saved the flavour but for rolls without that it was a bit lackluster. Overall wouldn't mind it again, maybe the best you'll get in Medford

Fantasy, Crispy Dragon... I forget the rest. So good!

Cons: A bit pricey and parking can be hard to find. Overall: 4.68/5 I got the spicy ramen and it was way better than anything I was expecting it to be! The ramen noodles felt similar to what instant ramen noodles feel like which kind of threw me off, but the broth was so incredibly flavorful. The toppings and amount of food was also great. I barely finished my bowl and my partner couldn't finish hers. It was a bit on the pricey side but was well worth it. The restaurant was still busy, with one large group of about ten people wrapping up their meal and three four-top tables just getting their food. The, and I selected the 12-piece menu item, was really good, but I do wish there was more variety of fish in a 12-piece dish. Miso is served with the sashimi but rice is not. I also ordered the Ikura Nigiri and it was great - salmon roe was very cold though (needs to be stored at a certain temp, I get it) so I waited for it to not feel frozen before finishing the second piece. Overall, great serving size but I don't know if I'd get the same sashimi again since you only get four kinds of fish for a rather high cost. I tried asking the server what the difference was between the 9 and 12 piece and they did say "more of the same but better" and I'm still not sure what it means so the next time they update the menu they really should offer more detail on this item.

They had really gone downhill with poor food quality and food running out. There were none of those problems today. There was an abundance of delicious food choices which were kept well stocked even though we were there at 3 pm between lunch and dinner. My friend doesn't eat red meat but there were ample chicken and seafood dishes to satisfy his hearty appetite. He remarked too on some of the unusual flavors~ everything wasn't bland and tasteless. I especially enjoyed several varieties of sushi as an appetizer before filling my plate with the hot food. Our table was kept cleared of our used plates as it was nice to start with a clean plate on each trip. We spent an hour and a half enjoying the tasty food and conversation. No need for me to eat dinner tonight! My friend remarked that he wished he lived closer to the New Tin Tin Buffet (we both live in Ashland) as he'd be eating there every day! We had a fabulous time eating dinner here at the Tin Tin Chinese buffet. The price on weekday dinners is around $18 ...and NO tax! Please tip though. This is a pretty big place with a decent sized buffet. There's more choices than I could even try. Old dried cold food? Not here! Everything was hot and fresh as I saw trays being replenished. We went around 5pm, so yeah if you are not so smart and show up 15 minutes before they close, no the food will not be fresh and many trays will be empty, cause no business is gonna fill trays with new food right at the end and then have to toss out a ton of food after they close! We were seated in a nice booth and there seemed to be a lot of other people enjoying the food here, plates piled high with seafood and other tasty looking foods. They have all the standard American Chinese food people expect, like sweet and sour pork, egg rolls, fried rice, hot and sour soup, broccoli beef and honey walnut prawns along with some dishes I didn't know what they were. But besides these standard dishes, some more authentic dishes were available as well, like deep fried calamari with jalapeno and salt, whole baked salmon and steamed white fish, stir fried green beans with garlic, salt and pepper fried whole prawns. No chicken feet though! Some dishes I've not see at a buffet were, pulled BBQ pork, Chinese BBQ pork, sweet and sour meatballs on a skewer and even custard tarts for dessert! There's plenty of choices for all tastes, even a section of spicy Korean foods as well as sushi rolls. There is even a cold foods and salad section ... I passed saving tummy room for hot foods! The quality of all the food was above average for buffets and or equal to a sit down and order ala carte place. Drinks besides water are not included in the base price. Sushi wasn't the best, but I come for the Chinese food. Service was fine. Every time we went back to the buffet to get more food, the dirty plates were cleared from the table upon my return. I'd recommend this place for an easy dinner for a large party or just two! Or five!

I didn't know about the many lunch specials, which made my choice even easier: $13.95 for a small salad, small egg roll, and good sized entree with choice of white or brown steamed rice. I ordered the cashew chicken w/ white rice, which was plenty for lunch. My Thai iced team, served in small frosty mug, was good, too, but not as flavorful as other Asian restaurants in the area. That's okay -- the food was more important! I think Thai Garden must do a lot of takeout business, because the space for dining in is small and there aren't a lot of tables. (It's sort of hidden, too, so I think it's more for locals.) But, no problem.... I got there a little before 1 pm and there were more than a few choices in terms of where to sit. I got 2 star on the spicy level which was perfect for me; a little heat but not too hot. The food was fine...not great but decent and probably what you'd expect from Thai food in Southern OR. The issue I had was with the to-go packaging. The foil, which probably helped keep the food warm, tore when I got toward the bottom. I had to fish out pieces of foil from the noodles.
