I can not say enough good things about this place! I saw my friends mango slush w coconut cream drink on Insta and had to have it for myself. It did not disappoint. It was better than I had hoped. I drove all the way from Frisco for this. And it was worth every mile. The owner was so nice and helpful. It was so good, I got some togo for my husband and she packed it up in ice for me bc she wanted to make sure the quality was the same (slushy and not liquified) for when he got it. I am a big fan of Main Street Grapevine, but for whatever reason I feel like we only end up walking around in this area in the middle of summer- HOT, tired, and HOT. Lucky for me and all the other overheated Texans, Hip Pop has arrived! Hip Pop has a teeny little store hidden just past/behind Jake's, and has some great fresh-fruit popsicles. I tried the Strawberry and Basil, which was refreshing and not too sweet. The staff was really friendly and also offered us some samples of the slushy flavor they had spinning (happened to be mango that day). Not a slushy gal typically, so it is not something I would have typically ordered, but after trying it would definitely recommend. They have a cocount cream sauce they drizzle over the top... oh lawdy. I think they give you a straw along with a spoon when you order this so you can slurp it down without shame. After reading the reviews I was excited to be trying a new place not too far from my house. I enjoyed the Shave Ice but the flavors of the popsicles just were not for me. I can enjoy that they are trying something new and being very successful at that but it just was not my cup of tea. I just discovered the best popsicles - Hip Pop. We really just stumbled upon it walking down Main Street and my son wanted a popsicle, so we went in. They are locally made from fresh organic fruit in a little shop in downtown Grapevine. The tiny store is located in the parking lot that is directly west of the funeral home on Main Street. I loved the strawberry lemon which was made from fresh organic strawberries that had been pureed. My daughter loved the blueberry lemon (also made with real blueberries), and my husband and son had the coconut pineapple. Hooked, we decided to try their shaved ice and got the strawberry, also made from fresh organic strawberries. However, they do have regular shaved ice made with the syrup like you get at a shaved ice place. I'm going to go back later this week with an ice chest and stock up on a few. They also have some really different things like a pickle pop, something made with basil, and some other stuff. read more

I had a peach shaved ice and key lime pie pop. Neither were anywhere close to good. The snow cone didn't have enough juice and it vaguely tasted like peach. The key lime pie pop only resembled a key lim pie only if you bought a cheap graham crust and put some off brand couple whip in it and sprinkled a little lime juice.
