    Hot Cheetos with cheese
    Mia S.

I am always on the hunt for a good snow cone and this place gave me hope! I'm so glad I found this little gem! I actually just went in because I was really craving Hot Cheetos with Cheese. But when I ordered I thought. "Why not?" And ordered the Tiger's Blood snow cone. Let me tell you the ice was so amazingly soft, but not to the point where it gets watery. It melts in your mouth and it's just great. My hot Cheetos and cheese were delicious too. I did feel like the syrup could've been sweeter, but it may be because I'm just used to my hometown snow cone stand. I can't wait to go back soon this week for more snacks!

This place is official ;) ...definitely reminds me of my childhood, when we couldn't get enough of anything icy and flavorful . I love the fact that they have a ton of flavor options and of course you can create your own concoction ! I'm always satisfied with a medium, which is $3.25 unless I get bizarre/experimental, and add a ton of flavors....why not have fun with it?!? ;) The service is always friendly and helpful; on a good day feel free to sit at the bench and enjoy your treat with no rush.

I've been coming to this bingsu spot for about a year now and it's hands down my favorite dessert…read more I like it way more than ice cream and once you're converted there's no going back. The bingsu is consistently light refreshing and perfectly balanced. The cashiers are always kind and helpful which makes the experience even better, and the environment is clean and welcoming every time I visit. This place has become a staple for me. If you're even remotely bingsu curious this is the spot.

He had been after me for some time to try what he called a true delight, which is Bingsu. He would not tell me much more about it, because he did not want to spoil the surprise. So one day on our lunch break recently we made our way over to Snow city Café. This place had me when I was in the parking lot and I read their sign that said "Shaved Ice". But when I went in, it was So Much more than shaved ice as I have always known it. You see, this is Bingsu, a treat I am now hooked on after just one try! Bingsu, I learned, is a Korean dessert, made with ice from frozen milk that is shaved, and then topped with fruit. OMG, where have you been all my life?!?! The service here was great. You see I thought I was in for more of a snow cone experience and I became a little overwhelmed when it was not exactly what I had in mind. I almost left, but then the very nice worker explained to me how to decide what I wanted, and my experience changed completely! I opted for the Strawberry and Mango Bingsu. I ordered a small, and I am thankful I did because it was HUGE! This place is great, I will definitely be back and bring some family members with me when I return!

I made a comment on my friends page, that I had not found any great Filipino places to eat in DFW…read more Someone for this restaurant reached out to ask me to try this place. I love that there is a Filipino store attached because they do sell stuff that the asian market near us doesn't sell and it's very specific. The restaurant has a lot of potential, the food was authentic and tasty. They have a small stage for performances and karaoke. With proper marketing I can see this as the place to be on a Friday or Saturday night. Our meal was comp'd which was great, just like to disclose this. We didn't get much because it was pretty much my wife and I eating and my two kids wouldn't each much, so they could just share. We got lumpia, chicken adobo, pork adobo, dinaguan, and pinakbet. I don't usually eat dinaguan and pinakbet, but I had some and it was delicious. It's Turo-turo style which is cool but if I was someone who was unfamiliar with Filipino food, which is a large majority of people in DFW, I'd have labels on the food or even have some samples that people know, ur pancit, Sinigang, sisig. The food was really good as it stand the most authentic tasting food in DFW. Please give them a try.

Staff must not spent time in this section unless necessary. When I entered the restaurant section, an employee took up a table on the far side to work. Walking toward the ordering line, the large printed menu with covered prices caught me off guard. Without prices nor descriptions, the menu was useless. Eventually, I saw the actual menu behind the counter. Without descriptions nor photos, I had to make an educated guess. After confirming with the cook that lechon was pork, I ordered the Lechon Kawali. The dining area was spartan. The tables were a combination of picnic benches and four-tops. When I went to grab napkins, I noticed the utensils were plastic. On the plus side, they had knives which eventually came in handy. As I was the sole customer, my order came out very quickly. The kitchen employee started my order before she approached the register. The food was served in styrofoam containers, the fried pork in one container and the rice in another. The sauce was served in a small plastic container. The sign by the register puzzled me. Once customers submit gratuity, it can not be refunded. Why would diners require that warning? Not as interesting, signs by the trash cans request customers to bus their own tables. Fortunately, due to the styrofoam containers and plate, that was a synch.
