I got the HINODEYA RAMEN (their house special), which was not bad! The portion was good for the price and the broth was flavorful. In terms of texture, the noodles were a little soft for my liking. But overall a good bowl of ramen! The soft boiled egg was scrumptious and the addition of spinach was interesting, but delicious. For an appetizer, I also got the Umami Brussel Sprouts. These were really good!! A little crispy and the fried garlic was the perfect addition of flavor. I highly recommend! My table sat outside and the patio was well shaded. The staff were really busy on a weekend, so they didn't come outside too often. However, the service was fine and the food came out quickly too.
WOW. Seriously WOW. I saw the amazing reviews and was driving back from San Luis Obispo and decided to try Hinodeya. My wife and I weren't even that hungry but really wanted to try since we aren't really in that area. Looking through the menu I normally order Pork Tonkatsu Ramen at restaurants and when I saw a price almost at $30 I was like no way! I decided to order the creamy vegan ramen with added Cha Siu instead. 1. Vegan Ramen and Cha Siu: *MIND BLOWN* Holy crap this was honestly the top 5 ramens I've ever had. It was seriously so creamy and rich. Perfectly seasoned and the added pork was perfectly braised and soft. The fried spinach was perfectly crunchy and delicious. I would never have guessed how good vegan ramen could be. Much more reasonably priced as well compared to the pork tonkatsu. 2. Clam Soup: I only tasted a bit of the broth and it was also really good! My wife got it mild and I felt like it was pretty spicy but she wished she got it more spicy lol. The broth was so rich and had a nice fresh clam taste without it being too seafoody. The clams were also fresh and delicious. She was craving this and she said it was exactly what she wanted. Overall, I wish I lived closer because I'd eat here every day. Although a bit on the pricier side, its worth the price. High quality and good portions. I wish I had room to try their dessert. This place is a must try!
A new restaurant chain the bay area. Yelp reservations online, up to 10 guests. Kind of hard to seat more than 8 i would say. It is a dashi based ramen so definitely a little bit more cleaner and thinner than those thick long cooked ramens Got the hinodeya ramen which had great flavor and overall great taste Also got the butter corn spicy miso ramen which also was less thick but also still had great flavor overall You pay via qr code and can just pay separately if with your friends, otherwise must order from one device. Parking is limited so may needa park on shady tree lane (not shady at all)
Got such great reviews, so I decided to give it a try. The pork bowl was okay. I wish they used pork chunks instead of ground pork, as I couldn't taste much, and there was too much rice compared to the other ingredients. My partner tried the ramen, and he is a huge ramen fan. He enjoyed it, but said it was nothing special. He did not have a wow moment, but it was still satisfying. Please note that if you go during peak hours, parking can be frustrating since the lot is very limited. I saw people park at a nearby plaza and walk over.
Hinodeya delivers delicious clam ramen and is a solid place to hang out with friends late at night. I ordered the hamaguri (clam) ramen, which had fish cakes, green onion, and they DID NOT skimp on the clams. There was so much clam, and the broth was clean, umami with the sesame oil, and you can taste a deep seafood flavor. Our table also ordered chicken karaage and vegetable karaage, which were standard, nevertheless tasty. I ordered the mix matcha ice cream, the matcha flavor was strong and relatively comparable to some matcha ice cream chains in the Bay.
Whoa! What an amazing little ramen shop. We had an early dinner and tried thier clam ramen and beef bowl. My kids favorite- and perfect dinner right in between school and late night curriculars. You place your order via QR code. The food is delivered and what felt like a couple minutes after. Such good broth, so nourishing and good for the soul. There is a small parking lot and I've never had trouble finding parking.
The food is tasty. I ordered the spicy tan tan ramen (level 10 ultra spicy) and gyoza. When they say spicy, they mean it, unlike other ramen restaurants. When I ordered the spiciest level, the waitress was concerned and asked if I was sure multiple times. Haha the spicy oil stuff was given on the side. I tried it with the gyoza first, which I accidentally dropped in the oil and it was nice and spicy, which was a good test. I haven't had buldak 2x spicy in a while, but I'd say it's around that level of spicy. Because it's oil based, expect to be on the toilet several times for your body to flush the oil out. Haha, but if you like spicy and nothing is spicy enough, this will definitely hit the spot. We were seated in the outdoor seating, which was nice, though at the time was a bit warm, but not bad. They had a small light and a little cup with some plants in it. Looked nice. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.
If you're craving ramen late at night and want some actually good ramen, come to hinodeya! They have multiple locations and the SJ one opens till 3AM on Friday and Saturday Spicy Miso Ramen 9/10 you can add more spicy to it depending on the levels, so I usually go for flame spicy. The chashu here is big and tender and full of flavor. I also like their thicker noodles they use, it's chewy snd bouncy Chicken Karaage 8/10 crispy chicken, pretty normal karaage nothing too special imo but it's a great appetizer to get here if your are super hungry, but they use matcha salt which is different Shishito peppers 10/10 I am actually a big fan of these, the seasoning is amazing and it's not spicy, absolutely an amazing snack I could eat 2 plates of this Fried oysters 8/10 this paired with freshly squeezed lemon and their okonomi sauce (sweet and savory) was juicy and flavorful, it's a good first time app if you never had fried Japanese oysters This location is on the smaller side, so be mindful if you come here with a bigger party
I always have THE BEST experience at Hinodeya Campbell! The ramen is consistently great and comforting. I love the butter corn and creamy vegan, but I feel like you can't go wrong! Service is speedy and friendly, and the restaurant is always lively for dinner. This is the place I always show people when they love ramen!
We finally went to Hinodeya Ramen Bar in Campbell and wow, what a great experience! As soon as we walked in, the service was amazing. The staff was super friendly, very polite, and seated us right away. They even offered us an outside table, but we decided to eat inside. The food was the best part! My sister got the Butter Corn Ramen and she loved it. To drink, she had a really refreshing Yuzu Drink with a squeeze of lemon. My brother was adventurous and tried the Aubri Cheese Spicy Miso Ramen--he said the cheese made the spicy broth taste even better--and he washed it down with a Matcha Beer. My sister's boyfriend and I both got the regular Spicy Miso Ramen, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a wonderful flavor and just the right amount of spice. I definitely approve of this place. If you're looking for fantastic ramen and great service in the Campbell area, you have to go to Hinodeya!
I met a friend here on a Tuesday. She was craving ramen, and I noticed they had some vegan options, so I decided to give it a try. The parking lot is really small, and they get busy, so it's hard to find a spot. I'd recommend going during their off hours to make sure you can park. I ordered the edamame sticks and Zen Ramen. The edamame sticks were bland; they could've used some salt and some sort of sauce. The ramen broth wasn't much better; it lacked depth of flavor and umami. I chose the medium spicy option but did not taste any spice at all. Although the broth wasn't very good, the toppings were delicious: lots of fresh veggies, the noodles had the perfect texture and bite, and the inari hit the spot. If they put more effort into injecting flavor into their vegan broth, I'd rate the ramen much higher. My non-vegan friend ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen and loved the broth, but did not enjoy the fried pork on top. She also loved the gyoza and spicy edamame. I enjoyed sitting in the back patio and ordering from my phone. The convenience was great. I might give them another chance and try the Yuzu Ramen next time, but I'm on the fence because I'm spoiled by more flavorful vegan broth options elsewhere.
Love at first bite!!! This place is amazingly good, that butter corn spicy miso was incredibly good, I subbed wheat noodles for spinach noodles. The corn was buttery, noodles were springy and cooked to perfection, and the broth was rich and flavorful, although I wish it would have been a bit more spicier to my liking. Beef bowl was pretty good, standard, but still good and those green gyoza best thing I have ever tried. I usually go for meaty gyoza, but I was feeling a little risky and decided to give the veggie side a try. I'm so glad I did, I don't know what magic they put on that, but they were sooooo good along with that tangy sauce. This has become my new go to ramen spot! read more

Stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. The place wasn't very crowded and a worker told us to sit anywhere and that we could order via QR code or place an order with him. We ended up using the QR code, but when you go to pay it asks if you want to add a tip. Why would I add a tip when I haven't even received any food or seen how the service is? It was kind of weird. We decided that we would not put a tip on the app and would leave a cash tip if it was warranted. I tend to be a bit picky with my food and the best thing about this place is that you can totally customize your ramen. We both decided to get the spicy butter corn ramen. You can select the level of spice. The one bad thing is that the spicier you want it the more they charge. What are they charging by the scoop of chili powder or something? I don't like bamboo shoots, so I was able to leave them off. Want to substitute chicken for the Char Siu like I did, no problem. You can pretty much create your perfect bowl of ramen. Very cool. Our food arrived very fast. Probaby 5 or 10 minutes after we ordered. Everyone knows that ramen is all about the broth. Unfortunately the broth here at Hinodeya is pretty bland. It certainly wasn't spicy and just didn't have much flavor at all. The noodles were good. Not too thin and had a good chew to them. So at the end of the meal, we were left with a bit of a challenge. The tip. The food runners brought us our food but we never saw them again after they put the food down. Nobody ever checked on us. What if we had, had a problem with our food? So I didn't feel like a generous tip was really warranted. We just left $5 and called it a day. So the bottom line is this place is cool because you can customize your food, but the food is bland. read more

We don't have many ramen spots back home that we go to but the waitress was so kind and helpful as we were trying to decide what to order. I had the spicy miso ramen and it was so delicious and flavorful. Ultimate comfort meal. 5 stars all around. read more

A reliable Bay Area ramen spot with multiple locations around the Bay! This location in Campbell is a great staple for anyone looking for a casual ramen spot with a good variety of options. I've tried their Clam Ramen and their Spicy Miso Ramen which were both great. Their broths aren't too salty and noodles have a nice standard texture to them. They have great vegan options as well that I would love to try some time. Ambiance is nice and cozy, while service is fast and efficient. Definitely consider checking Hinodeya out when you're looking for your next bowl of ramen! read more
Albeit having limited parking, this restaurant has its own charm and uniqueness. We came here around 6pm on a Wednesday for dinner. There was no line yet but parking was a nightmare. There is a small parking lot in the back of the restaurant which can host up to 12 cars max. Unless you're very lucky, expect to spend a bit of time circling around. Or maybe you'll opt for street parking in the nearby residential area like I did. Or be bold and park in the next-door plazas and walk over. The restaurant is a stand-alone small building and it looks like something you'll find in Japan. Something about its dark oak exterior and the big curtain at the front door add to its charm. The inside is small, quaint and cozy. There are maybe 8-9 tables max, some of which can seat 2 and some can seat 4. There's also a cute patio area. There is a QR code at the table which you scan to order. You will pay and tip before your order arrive. I got the Hamaguri Clam Ramen and my friend got the Zen Ramen (vegetarian). Our food arrived fast within 10 minutes. OMG the Hamaguri Clam Ramen was what won me over! It was so UNIQUE! I'm used to those Tonkotsu or Miso soup based ramens but this clam ramen outshines all of the typical Japanese ramens, especially if you're a seafood fan! The soup was light yet flavorful, going down smoothly and leaving a nice aftertaste. The clam was fresh and the thick noodles were cooked perfectly. I finished my bowl in lightning speed LOL I took off one star because of the parking situation. Otherwise, all was perfect food-wise and ambience-wise. read more
Went to Hinodeya on a Monday evening around 8pm and it was somewhat busy. There are about 10-12 parking spots in the back so it can be limited during peak hours. To place the order, we had to scan a QR code and order online which was straightforward. We heard good things about the vegan creamy ramen so we each got one. I was surprised that there was an additional fee to change the spice level so I just got the default spice level. Got our food within 5-10 minutes! Creamy ramen (3.5/5): Broth was definitely creamy, however, it was very bland with the default spice level and lacked flavor. I had to ask the waitress for spice on the side which was provided free of charge and that helped. On the bright side, I liked the spinach noodles. It didn't taste any different from regular noodles and it made me feel healthy. The inari (tofu pouches) was delicious - it was flavorful and juicy. The vegetables also tasted fresh, but one minor complaint I had was that the vegetables came in big chunks. For example, the kale was served in one big bunch so I had to eat it all in one bite. Overall, the ramen was decent, and service was good. However, my friend and I agreed that there are better vegetarian/vegan ramen options nearby that offer more value. Hinodeya is priced similarly to other ramen shops in the area, but most other ramen shops in the area allow spice level modifications at no extra charge. While I appreciate the fact that there are vegan options, there is no vegetarian ramen option and to add an egg, it costs $3 more which feels steep. Thus, I don't think I would return. read more

There always seems to be parking available, the service is quick and fast and the ramen tastes great! I cannot complain about any restaurant when it meets all three of the above criteria. Their littleneck clams ramen, in particular, is very good and very unique. You don't see similar items at other ramen restaurants. The broth is light but filled with umami and a generous two dozen quality littleneck clams. (You can tell because the shells are thick and firm). There is an option for slightly spicy garlic crunch which you should definitely take them up on. It adds a ton of flavor to the broth and works especially well with the lighter seafood-based broths that they have to offer. read more

We ordered amongst other things a yasai kaki age. We found hair in it. After that I lost my appetite. We even paid AND tipped before placing the order as it was placed through a scanned menu. All Hinodeya said was sorry! I am sorry for this to be my first experience with Hinodeya. Won't be returning. read more

The ramen is solid, especially the clam one! So many clams that I was surprised! I was disappointed they didn't have yuzu ramen at the time that I went, but that's okay. Maybe next time. But the location is nice with a small parking lot, not too busy on a Monday afternoon. They allowed my dogs to sit on the back patio, which was very nice, and I would definitely come back. read more

Came here on a Tuesday night for dinner. I think we ordered from DoorDash but I can't confirm completely. No lines, yay! But their parking lot was very small and limited. Perhaps that's how they manage no wait line in their restaurant. There are street parking so I guess that's why their parking lot is small. Ramen was pretty generic but it was hearty. The spinach noodle was pretty good, didn't really taste much spinach in the noodle though. But at least we're getting some veggies in! The meat was pretty good too, very tender. Also, got the soft-served ice cream, vanilla. It was yummy! Reminds me of the McDonald ice cream. It melts very quick, so I would recommend getting it in the cup instead of the cone. read more
My husband and I were at Sports Basement in Campbell and decided to give this place a try. Their parking lot is fairly small with option to park next door when those stores are closed. Since we were there for lunch, we ended up parking a street down in the neighborhood. Upon walking in, we were seated immediately in the patio (fully covered and shaded). I got the clam ramen and shared some extra chashu with my husband. While I'm not a huge fan of the noodles (felt like there's not as much texture and chewiness), I really enjoyed the broth as well as the generous portions of clams. Service here was great and I'd come back again if I was in the area. read more

Decent ramen place in Campbell and a go to for when i want ramen fast. You can order and pay via a QR code and the food comes out very quickly so as long as there is no line you can be in and out in under 30 minutes! Parking can be a challenge when it's busy. They have a small lot behind the restaurant, but when it fills up, it can be hard to find an alternative place to park. read more
Decided on ramen for a cold night and we were not disappointed! They have seating options inside or outside in their patio and you scan the QR code on the table to order and pay so no need to put your order in with the servers. The Hinodeya ramen had a clear and clean taste. It was really like a clarified miso broth and it was quite simple. For flavor though, maybe go with the spicy miso ramen. I got the Creamy Vegan ramen and wow! It was delicious. The broth was creamy, flavorful, and tasty. It was filling and for $17 a bowl, you definitely get what you pay for. The servers were very attentive and removed empty plates and bowls away quickly and food gets to you in a timely manner. We went on a fairly busy packed night and still got all of our drinks, okazu, and ramen quickly. Overall, 5/5 for taste! *Parking is VERY limited in the back (with like maybe 8 parking spots) so ideally this is a place for a couple or very small families. Their seating is quite small too as well so we did see larger families struggle to find comfortable seating. I would also advise have 1 person order on the QR website for everyone so orders don't get mixed up. read more

This was the first we tried this ramen place. No reservation but join waiting list online is available. We only waited for about 10 minutes. The staff were friendly. Ramen is a bit hard (to me as different preferences for individuals) but still good. Soup is nice and not very salty. I would recommend this restaurant for someone like reman to try. I didn't try its dessert as we were full. But, they look great and tasty on the pictures. I would like to try if I go next time. By the way, Parking spaces are limited. read more

this place is located in Campbell. Small parking lot and parking can be crowded. They have a small seating inside the restaurant and more outdoor seating with heating lamps. The restaurant vibe feels rushed, busy and hectic. Servers are efficient to bring your dishes. You scan a digital menu and order online and pay. Then they bring you the entrees. The entrees were decent with good portions. The broth was OK, not too salty and not too oily. read more
Late lunches usually means no wait so we decided to head on over to Hinodeya which my entire family has swore that this was the best ramen in the bay. First impression - small quaint place with a great atmosphere! I loved the relaxing music in the background. They have a QR code system where you order and pay right away which was fairly convenient. Service was still great even though we paid first! We ordered the Hinodeya House ramen with two appetizers - karaage and shrimp tempura. I really enjoyed the karaage which I could tell was marinated and freshly fried. The side of green tea salt hits the spot. The size of the shrimp tempura was quite decent but the price was definitely still very steep. The ramen that we ordered was very light and I enjoyed the noodle texture. Based on my personal preference, I think this place is solid but it's not a must try on my end! read more
My favorite ramen spot in the South Bay! There was no line when I went and we were able to get seated immediately. Everything is self order through a QR code. My favorite ramen here is the spicy miso butter corn ramen and it hits every time! Our ramen and takoyaki came out really fast and everything had beautiful presentation. The waitlist may be long on the weekends but it is worth the wait! My other favorite appetizers have to be the shrimp tempura, chicken karaage, and the spicy edamame. read more

First time here and it was so good. I was in and out of here in 20 minutes which was great. The house ramen with inari was really good. Packed with flavor and reasonably priced. I also like the contactless ordering system. The staff was very friendly. If I had to pick one gripe, it's the parking lot. It's absolutely absurd but I think it's kind of out of their hands at a place like this and the location they're at. Definitely recommend it though. read more

Hinodeya in Campbell is the spot when it comes to ramen and bowls. They're open late till 11, which is clutch, and the vibe here works whether you're on a date or just chilling with friends. Indoor and outdoor seating both got a nice ambience. Today I tried the spicy chicken bowl with brown rice--super flavorful, perfectly fried, and still juicy. Definitely hit the spot. Can't go wrong with their Hinodeya ramen either. I went with the spinach noodles and the egg was cooked to perfection. Everything feels dialed in. Overall, solid late-night option with good food, good energy, and a chill environment. Easy recommendation if you're in Campbell. read more
I absolutely LOVE their ramen. I got a spicy miso ramen and I got tofu rather than chicken in it! Service is always outstanding. The vibe/ambiance is also kinda cozy. Very clean and tidy. I also got their hojicha tea, which was delish and came with 2 cups and a clear teapot :). read more
this place really surprised me! they have a solid menu with good staples but also intriguing seasonal specials. i had the cold clam ramen (added bamboo shoots) and it was delicious and super refreshing. the broth had a really clean and flavorful taste, the clams were cooked perfectly, and the lemon made it so bright. it's a perfect summer meal. it came with this giant lemon and a squeezer which was fun. we sat in the back outside patio, which is a nice space that mixes outdoor and indoor. the staff was friendly and welcoming. i'll definitely be back soon to try another type of ramen, although it will be hard for me not to order the clams again. read more
I've been here to Hinodeya Ramen Bar a few times now. Originally, I tried their vegan ramen and since they execute it pretty well, that's been keeping me coming back. The vegan ramen is $17 and comes with spinach noodles, shitake mushrooms, inari, kale, acorn squash slice, nori, sesame seeds, and a piece of bell pepper. The broth is on the sweet side, but creamy and wholesome. To improve it, I'd love to see them add sweet corn as well. Maybe also make a vegetarian option with an egg added too. Their Hinodeya Ramen ($16) is pretty good and basic. It has bamboo shoots, pork slices, half an egg, green onions, spinach, and a slice of nori. The broth has a nice seafood taste from the dashi and scallops used. The pork could be a bit more flavorful though since I found it on the bland side. Not a bad place to come for ramen if you're craving it! read more

Delicious spot for ramen! I was looking for a restaurant to eat in the Campbell area and found this place. We came here with friends and our doggies, the staff were accommodating and seated us at the covered outdoor patio. They have a small parking lot behind the restaurant, so parking was easy. I was pleased to see that they had Tori Paitan Ramen on their ramen, which is chicken ramen. I had this for the first time in Japan, so I was eager to try it again. The Tori Paitan Ramen was delicious and the chicken broth was tasty as well. There were also plenty of toppings included in the bowl, which I enjoyed. Hinodeya Ramen Bar made for a great meal, and I would recommend them if you're looking for a good bowl of ramen in the Campbell area. read more

I went back and made sure to place an order for the correct vegan ramen this time- the creamy vegan ramen! And it was delicious, easily among the best vegan ramen I had. The sweet inari(fried tofu), perfectly cooked sweetish acorn squash, fried kale (ignoring the inedible center stalk), the surprisingly delectable spinach noodles(other than the fact that they were green, they didn't taste anything like spinach, which is good) and the most delicious creamy vegan soup came together so wonderfully in this bowl. I can see myself coming back again for it. We also got the vegetarian gyoza. With a crisp pan fried bottom and a delectable filling, these were 5/5 as well. read more

Hinodeya is by far a great ramen place if I want something less salty, and rich in umami. I do believe $16 for a bowl with a few toppings on my ramen is a little too much. It was definitely worth the try. I also got a parfait and shared it with my friends and it was also good, yet again expensive. Other than that, I would come back again! read more

This location had both indoor and outdoor seating, so it looks a bit small on the outside but there's quite a few tables. The food is served pretty quick and you can order + pay via QR code. As for the food, I appreciate Hinodeya for how consistent the quality is. This location had some unique menu items like a yuzu ramen. They also had a summer menu of cold ramens. I kinda wanted to try them but then they were all mushroom based broth so I didn't lmao. I liked the aburi cheese spicy miso ramen. I usually get the spicy miso anyways but I was pleasantly surprised by how yummy the cheese was. Also always make sure to get the house garlic chili crisp! It's super fragrant and spicy but not too much. It definitely adds another dimension of flavour to the ramen read more

the best ramen i've ever had! everything was so fresh, perfect temperature and the service was quick which is always a plus. the inside was beautiful and calm, staff were super friendly as well! i ordered the creamy spicy miso ramen w/ corn and ordered an extra egg. it's really not spicy at all, so if you have a high tolerance i suggest you order more spice! (they do charge for the level of spice) my partner ordered the regular spicy miso ramen and this was his first time here, and definitely not his last!! thank you for such an amazing experience and equally delicious food! read more

This is my favorite ramen spot! The parking lot is quite small and usually full, so keep that in mind. Wait times vary, but there is usually seating available outside even on busier weekends (with outdoor heaters). The staff are kind and welcoming. You order from your phone using a QR code menu, but I believe there is another form of payment upon request. My favorite bowls are the hinodeya ramen and the spicy miso. The bowls are filling and flavorful. You can customize your spice level and add/remove toppings when you order on the phone. As for appetizers, the takoyaki and potstickers are pretty good! read more

Food: House Ramen, it's solid, but get it with at least 1 level of spice or it's a bit plain. Yuzu Ramen, generous amount of yuzu peel in broth that was light and tasty. Adding kabocha and kale were really nice! Gyoza was outstanding! Skin was light, thin crispy edges with flavorful filling! Staff: Cheerful and courteous. Ambiance: Only one Ghibli song looped through our whole meal. It's a nice song, I love it, but please play other songs too. read more
Ordered the Hinodeya Ramen with a side of gyoza through DoorDash. I specified when I ordered that I wanted the ramen non-spicy and that's what I got. Second try's the charm? My partner and I came on a Wednesday evening and it wasn't super busy. Be aware that the parking lot is small and we barely found a spot. We chose to sit outdoors and it had really nice lighting and the weather was cool - perfect for ramen. I had visited Hinodeya awhile ago (2019), but the ramen didn't stand out to me so I haven't gone back until recently. I got the Spicy Miso ramen with extra corn and my partner ordered the Spicy Miso Butter Corn ramen. Spicy Miso: The broth was super flavorful and umami. The chashu was tender and just melts in your mouth. The noodles were cooked perfectly - chewy/bouncy. My partner gave me his bamboo and they tasted great with the ramen. Overall solid ramen. 10/10 Spicy Miso Butter Corn: The same spicy miso ramen as mine, but there was butter and corn added in. The butter wasn't fully melted and my partner ended up eating whole chunks of it. He wasn't much of a fan of that. 7/10 read more

Everything was so delicious! I love how they have gluten free noodles which were so tasty. The servers were very attentive and ordering was easy on the app. It definitely got busy in the evening but we didn't have to wait. My friends loved the matcha beer and the vegan ramen too. It was my first time at Hinodeya for lunch today. I'm so glad I swung by! I ordered the chicken Kara age as my appetizer and the spicy ramen as my entree. The true star for me was the chicken Kara age that came with matcha salt. I've never heard or had matcha salt before, but it's literally my new favorite thing! I definitely recommend getting that appetizer. The spicy ramen was okay. It wasn't too spicy at all and that's coming from someone with no spice tolerance. The broth was creamy, but a tad sweet. The noodles were good and the chashu was delectable. I liked that we could just order from the QR code so it made it easy. The servers were attentive and very sweet. Hello - can you tell me how is the parking here during lunch time?
Terrible! Limited parking. Next door doesn't like Hinodeya customers parking in their lot.
Is it dog friendly?
Yep! We had a fully grown labradoodle on the patio. There were a couple other dogs as well. The waitress brought us a water bowl too.
We have a family member who is allergic to fish and shellfish. Are there ramens that do not contain those ingredients? Also, does every ramen come with fish cake garnish? Can you request modifications on the menu that you scan with the QR code?
They have 2 vegan ramens and neither had fishcake. They will also take your order at the table if you have questions, but I would call and try to talk to someone ahead of time as we had a language barrier at the table.
