Fresh, flavorful, and hits the spot. Marufuku is a solid new addition -- modern decor, and I love how the staff greets you in unison when you walk in. The Spicy Tan Tan ramen was great -- broth was rich and flavorful, noodles soft and just right. The Tori Momo chicken thigh skewers were really good too. But the real star? The karaage chicken bowl with green onions and sesame seaweed -- absolutely loved it. Service was quick and the vibe feels fresh without trying too hard. Highly recommended if you're in the mood for ramen done right.

I tried the mazesoba here, and it was amazing!! I've tried a bunch of different soup-less ramens, but this lands in my top 5. The sauce was flavorful, and everything was just generally super tasty. The dish is about $18, and you do have to pay for the rice at the end if you want to use it to soak up the leftover sauce you have (I think the sign referring to this might be misleading). Overall, the experience was solid and the service was quick!

This Marufuku Ramen is located near the center courtyard of the Pruneyard and next to Humphry Slocombe Ice Creamery. They have inside and outside dining options available. They do have a bar area with seats to watch tv. Pro-Tip: Get on to their online Waitlist beforehand if possible. My server was Thet Thu Thu and she was friendly, courteous, and attentive. Hakata Tonkotsu: Hakata-Style Ramen with rich pork broth. Chasu pork (simmered pork belly), seasoned soft boiled egg, green onions, kikurage mushrooms, beansprouts, pickled ginger, and sesame seeds (4/5). First off, you can really enjoy the silky, smooth, milky hot broth. Personally, I prefer the thicker noodles, but the thinner noodle is their Hakata style. The egg was PERFECT. It was creamy, runny, and heated perfectly. Sometimes, it comes right out of the refrigerator and its solid. Nope, not here. It was perfect. I said it twice. The chasu was paper thin BUT super flavorful!!! We will be back. Come support this local business.

Finally was able to go to Marufuku ramen. Have been wanting to go to this place since the Santana row location. The place was crowded but got our table in 20min. The location is so vibrant and happening that it's easy to pass that time. The ramen was so good. The broth was of perfect flavor and enjoyed the noodles a lot. We also tried the chilli garlic edamame and it was good. Would definitely go to this place again

Ramen spot with gluten free noodles, but also skewers, bowls, and few other items. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Opentableable: no reservations, Yelp waitlist Return worthiness: sure Highlights: - Gluten free noodles: love this option and tasted great with good smooth texture. 4 stars - Tonkatsu ramen: silky rich. Got the version with kakuni which was tender plus few snl slices of cha sui. Perfect ramen egg. Nice uneven crafty bowls were a nice touch. Only knock is got medium spice and didn't taste any, but had spice on the table to add. 4 stars - Sake: few version by the glass for $11 - Menu variety: had set of skewer options, katsu curry, and few bowls which was nice for if you wanna bring a non ramen fan. - Some kind of trendy light up bag drink lots people got looked fun. - Kid friendly: tons of kids Midlight: - Pruneyard so parking lots can get crowded Lowlight: - Pork belly skewer: my dad did not enjoy it cause it was too chewy and fatty (and he usually likes fat so that's saying something). 2 stars - Used the Yelp waitlist but I wasn't in the list. Then later got a text when I had been seated for a while that my table was ready.

The absolute standout of this place was the service, and more specifically, our server. I didn't catch his name, but he was a gentleman with shoulder-length dirty blond/light brown hair and a beard, and he was hands down the best part of the entire experience. He checked on us often without ever being intrusive, was genuinely warm and friendly, and every time we thanked him, he responded with the sweetest, most gracious "you're very, very welcome." You can tell when someone is just doing their job, and you can tell when someone is truly exceptional -- he was exceptional. Management, if you read these reviews, please recognize him. He deserves a raise. As for the food, it was okay, but definitely not the star of the show. It wasn't bad, just not memorable, especially for the price. The portions were also surprisingly small for something labeled "deluxe," which made it feel even less worth the cost. That said, the ambiance was nice, but the real reason this review is getting written is because of that server. He brought the kind of energy and care that makes people want to come back, even when the food itself doesn't quite justify the price. Give that man a raise -- he earned it.

Wonderful Ramen!! First time visiting and won't be our last. A young man sat us and talked thru the menu with us. Such a very nice young man and very good recommendations. Sat on the patio and it was very nice. Highly recommend!

Went to The Pruneyard for a different restaurant but there was a wait. They told us 30 minutes and we put our name down and went for a walk. Stumbled across Marifuku and they were searing immediately so we canceled out of the first place and took a seat. The wait staff were great. Nice greeting, efficient, and courteous. We ordered the chicken karaage to start and it came out fast and piping hot. It came with a sauce but honestly it didn't need it. It was delicious! Our mains came out shortly after we finished our appetizer. I'm told that the veggie ramen was delicious and so was my A5 Maze Soba. The menu recommended adding rice to the Maze Soba but I opted not to. The ramen was chewy and tasty. The ramen egg was cooked to perfection. I'm glad we ended up eating here and I'll definitely be back again.

Chicken Paitan

I was pleasantly surprised by the ramen here! They have a yelp waitlist which is great for busy hours. Parking can be a struggle so I'd leave cushion time for that! We tried the chicken ramen and the makesoba (a5 wagyu!). Both were so flavorful and delicious. The chicken ramen broth is light yet flavorful, and the chicken is so tender. The Makesoba has thicker noodles that are chewy and the sauce isn't too heavy or overwhelming. You can add vinegar and rice at different increments. We also got the lychee rose cocktail and hojicha old fashioned. Both were so good and cheaper than most cocktails for $12. Overall, this place was solid. We'll definitely come back to try more of their menu and cocktails!

The Hakata tonkotsu ramen was creamy, rich, and savory, despite containing no dairy. The broth had a deep pork flavor that was comforting. The chashu pork was soft and tender, the noodles were soft and bouncy, and the soft boiled egg was cooked perfectly with a firm outside and a runny center. I also ordered the buta kakuni on the side. On its own, it was dry, but tasted better once added into the ramen and soaked up the broth. That said, at $4 for one piece, it wasn't worth the price. The waiter was super friendly and welcoming. As soon as I walked in, the staff greeted me with a loud "Irasshaimase!" This immediately created an atmosphere that made it feel like I was dining in Japan.

Edamame
Nin J.

I'm a fan of Marufuku Ramen and this was my first time trying this location. Although the shopping center is always busy the wait time wasn't bad and conveniently enough you can place your name on the waitlist through the Yelp app. Edamame, Ramen and a little spicy margarita hit the spot.

The Ramen was the star of the show I loved the pork Hakata Tonkatsu DX. The chicken Karaage was standard the Takoyaki was decent. The service was awesome they went over the whole menu for my first time l. The Ambience was lovely I got a nice booth.

I ordered the 109, which includes a medium spicy miso soup and a side order or meat, rice and green onions, as well as an egg. The soup itself has bamboo, seaweed, chashu, and a delicious mild spicy broth. The price was about $23 to $24, which is reasonable for the amount of food you get. The workers are friendly, and they offer free water if you ask. Since it's located inside a Mitsuwa, the parking can be challenging, especially during the weekends, so just be mindful of when you go. However, this…read morerestaurant fell short of my expectations, and rather than it being a good experience, it made out to be a very mid experience. First off: the location of this place just turned out to be a very closed off location. Not a lot of people knew about it, and the entrance towards the restaurant was rather pretty dark. It seemed kind of unwelcome, and we even had to wait a little bit even though there were plenty of seats available (I would understand the shortage of people serving, but even then, that shouldn't be an excuse. We shouldn't be the ones bearing the responsibility for it). I felt like as if I was rushed through this whole experience. Not only were the seating places small, but also, the portion for what they were offering was not worth it for its price. The customer service was almost as if it was non existent. I tried their ramen, and while the ramen noodles were good, the chashu was really rubbery and the onion taste was too overpowering. In addition, the pork broth was too salty, and was WAY too hot. Also, the fact that four gyozas were a little bit too less. I honestly don't know if I'm going to come back, unless things improve otherwise. It's just my take on this restaurant, but I think they need quite a bit of improving.

It is straightforward with a good mix of udon, rice dishes, small bites, and drinks, which I really appreciated. The food felt delicate but still had layers of flavor. Nothing was heavy or overdone. The rice was one of my favorite parts. It was crispy on the outside and cooked perfectly inside, which made it so satisfying. The chicken karaage was also really good. Crispy, tender, flavorful, and exactly what you want when you order karaage. The only thing I would probably skip next time is the mixed sake drinks. They are fruity and fun, but they tasted like they were made with sugary syrup. So if you do not want a sugar bomb or you are watching sugar calories, I would stay away from those. The inside has a cozy feel that reminded me a little of something you would find in Japan, but with a bit of an American touch. It felt clean, casual, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and attentive without making anything feel rushed. Also we had our son so they brought share plate without us even asking for him. I loved that they considered that. For the amount of food, the quality, and the overall experience, the prices felt well worth it. We will definitely be going back. The rice bowl is filing and the chicken had a crispy outside and the meat juicy. The Yuzu ramen was good but the amount of soy used didn't let the Yuzu come through and gave it a sour aftertaste almost vinegar taste. The shrimp tempura roll was a "basic" crunch roll light and crispy but a bit over priced IMO.
