Gorgeous view of the vineyards . Friendly service. Dogs are welcome, people are tolerated - sign at entrance. We didn't try food but wonderful wine selection. Worth the drive!

Tried out this winery since it's not that far from my house. I loved it. I made a reservation and was sat outside on a beautiful day. They had a few different flights to try out which is more choices than I have seen from other wineries. They have a sweeter wine which I love. Since I love my dessert wines but don't really find them here in Oregon. The customer service is great. The ladies that helped me were lovely to talk to. I also tried their dark chocolate basil and strawberries which was delicious. I recommend coming here to enjoy a nice day.

What a nice place for a relaxed wine tasting. A flight of reds for my husband and a flight of whites for me. I loved their setting on the grass. Cathy was such a great host and even made us a happy anniversary sign for our table. From reserving a place online to actually being served at their vineyard, superb service all throughout.

Excellent wine and a gorgeous view! Their sauv blanc is especially good! We had a lovely time here and will definitely return!

Another wonderful visit!! We were gifted a certificate for 2 wine flights, charcuterie board, & truffle tray. Made a reservation online for indoor seating and enjoyed a cozy, intimate day date on the couches with our array of delish snacks and wines. We got one white flight, and one red. We shared and truly enjoyed every wine. Silvan ridge really has their wine perfected. We are never disappointed! The charcuterie board was ready for us and we devoured it. The truffles were truly delicious. We were tempted to get more. So tasty. I purchased a bottle of wine to enjoy a little and take the rest home. It was a great visit. The ladies serving us were so personable and kind! We love celebrating here. The building is so cute and intimate. The views are beautiful and the drive is so peaceful. Thank you for another great date spot! See ya soon! I just noticed the cheeses change ever so often as well and the truffles! Now I'll have to visit soon to see the new flavors.

Their wine tasting is very fun! It is such a beautiful place and absolutely instagramable! Their wines are nice with reasonable price. However, I found their truffle flight gimmicky. I thought it was truffle not chocolate. And for three chocolates for $10 seems like a rip off.

This is my favorite kind of Yelp experience. I had no expectations coming here, knew nothing about…read morethe place and left blown away. Let's start with the facility. Located in an 120 year-old barn in cottage Grove, Oregon at the southern end of the Willamette Valley. This is a beautiful spot. There's a large gravel parking lot with tables and chairs outside for the perfect tasting experience during the summer and fall months. Inside there are a number of large tables and seating at the bar if you're not into meeting new people at your table. During my visit, the young lady, waiting on us was outstanding both in terms of her customer service and her knowledge about Saginaw wines, and wines in general. She made great recommendations to everyone who came into the tasting room. There are food options here with both a small and large cheeseboard, and some 10 inch pizzas. Both of these go very well as an accompaniment to the wine. I particularly liked the Malbec with the cheeseboard. There is also a Muller Thurgau white that is really good. A great German food wine, unusual to find in the US! I was there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was really buzzing by 4-5 pm as it filled up with locals. Very impressive wines that have won awards in Oregon. Their Pinot Niur is not the fruit bomb you find in California, but a very pleasant, light drinking wine with a bit of a spicy backbone, reminiscent of a Syrah. I REALLY enjoyed my visit and bought a bottle of the Muller Thurgau to share with my friends in Phoenix

We arrived late ( tip google leads you wrong search for Saginaw Vinyard, and not the address on their site ).vali and Jack were great, the wines we tried were winners. One taste of the Barn Red and bought a bottle to go with dinner. The night was peaceful and restful. We're already planning a return trip next year.

I'll pick up a $6 from the grocery store and call it good. I go tasting every once in a while, but I don't get into the whole "notes of this" "nice nose" kinda stuff. But I will have the occasional $50-80 bottle as a treat. That being said, I got the first wine (I think it was a Pinot gris? Just a white wine) on the flight, looked at my friend (who's a winemaker) and said "this thing has notes of wet dog and sewage". She agreed. I couldn't drink it and it burned the back of my throat when I tried it. The second wine (rose) had notes of sulfur and also burned . It was easier to drink but not great. The Pinot noir was the best, I could actually drink it. Though I've had cheaper bottles that tasted better. It was very watery and didn't have much body to it. The Pinotage was very disappointing. It had too much salinity. I know that the winery was just bought out from the previous owner so they're probably just stuck with whatever he made. I'd like to come back in a couple of years to try some things that the new owners make! I didn't get to try their food, but it did look amazing. Again, service was great and very helpful, but the wine was just...not it.
