When you dine in they will bring some sliced watermelon, water and rice crackers to the table to start your experience. I ordered a number of different dishes to get a feel for the place, as well as feed the family. The order: walovi/Wanglaoji (can of tea served cold) Scallion Pancakes, Lychee Shrimp Balls, Beef Soup with hand pulled noodles, special dumplings, Mashed Cucumber salad, sausage, and stir fried beef noodles. Overall the food was amazing 9.5/10 The entire meal was delicious, the noodles were perfectly cooked and the dishes full of flavor. The Leychee shrimp balls were excellent, the mashed cucumber salad was refreshing and full of flavor. All the dishes were seasoned well, the special dumplings were a little over seasoned and thus the 9.5 instead of a perfect 10. The tea was refreshing and not overly sweet it was the perfect accompaniment to the meal.

The hot and sour soup is fantastic - better than renditions produced in Chinatown. I like their pepper steak, fresh beef and generous serving. The Lomein is very good. I have only been a customer for less than 2 weeks but already ordered three times. This is better than the 5 other restaurants in Valley Stream. I am Chinese and prefer to eat in Chinatowns in NYC. But when I don't feel like making a twenty minute plus trip to get Chinese food cooked for Chinese tastes, Wah Sing will get my dollars.

The lady came back and took my order as if she didn't want to. When I was given my order the guy practically was rushing me off without letting me speak. When I asked him for a fork he said here and just threw it aggressively in the bag. The girls are usually pretty nice and the service is too. Hopefully it's the only bad service encounter I get cause I like the food and it would be a shame to look elsewhere because of the service.

After following up several more times we finally got our food 55 minutes after we first ordered. No explanation. Food was just ok, nothing special. The place is…read morequite spacious with three tables and seatings, but may get crowded when everyone is ordering and picking up their lunch. There is an ATM machine inside the restaurant because the place is cash or Zelle only. The drinks fridge is also accessible by the patients and they have a variety of sodas, Snapples, and home made herbal tea. I really like their lunch specials which has a wide variety and you get a free soda, wonton soup, or egg drop soup with it. All that for less than $10! I came during lunch time with my coworkers and we all ordered a variety of things to share. First of all, the hot and sour soup is delicious. It was very hot even long after it arrived. Perfectly flavored, not too spicy and not too sour. Texture was a balance of watery and thick. And delicious with the wonton crackers! I like that all the food they claim have no MSG and honestly tastes very natural. The kung Pao Chicken and chicken and broccoli flavor is not as strong as I like it and they strip their chicken instead of dicing it. The BBQ ribs are perfectly cooked and flavored. The fried rice is not too oily and perfectly flavored with cha Siew and vegetables. The highlight was definitely the crispy and juicy chicken wings. Will definitely be back for them! My friend got the quart of herbal tea which I want to try next time too. There are no restrooms, but the staff are all very nice! You get a fortune cookie with every order!

Chicken Wings & Fried Rice w/ Duck Sauce…read more You ever take that first bite and just know the rest of your day is gonna be alright? Lol That's exactly what happened when I opened the box and the aroma of crispy chicken wings and golden fried rice hit me like a warm hug from someone who knows how to season food. The wings? Hot, crunchy, perfectly fried--not too greasy, not too dry. Just that right amount of salty-savory joy you want when you're craving comfort. And then there's the duck sauce. Sweet, tangy, sticky perfection. I dunked, dipped, and drenched those wings like I was painting a masterpiece. No regrets. None. Now the fried rice--simple, classic, no-frills, but done right. Golden grains, tiny bits of egg, scallions peeking through, and just enough soy flavor to make you keep coming back for "just one more spoonful" until the whole container's mysteriously empty. Somehow, every bite tasted better with a little swipe of duck sauce mixed in. Fusion? Maybe. Delicious? Absolutely. Yummmm Pro tip: Get extra napkins and don't plan to share unless you're ready for a fight.

The food was decent, although the pork fried rice that came with my dish was pretty flavorless and the pork pieces were dry. That aside this review is about this restaurant's prices and their customer service. My total for these 2 items was $23.50, which is definitely overpriced. Their menu prices do not reflect what they actually charge, and the food was not worth $23. Especially because of what I mentioned above and their small quantities.
