Is it bitter sweet that it's in the same space of my former haunt rivals where I have so many memories .. sure. Was it strange sitting in my same booth I always sat in .. a bit, yeah. Everything on the menu is $17 and up. I bought a salad: iceberg lettuce, bunch of carrots, 3 cherry tomatoes and 4 cucumbers slices. Made me feel sick after I ate it. The place was dirty and has food stuck on the wall and table. The naan was good tho. read more

This restaurant is so good! I was so delighted when they opened up and brought Nepalese/Indian food to this Valley. It had been sadly lacking in options, aside from the Indian-run gas station that sells chicken Mahkani, rice and samosas. The food is excellent, the staff is so friendly, and they are only closed on Mondays. Run, don't walk, to Himalayan to give your taste buds a treat!! I never considered myself a fan of Indian food, until I tried Himalayan Kitchen. I went in just to try a new spot, and I'm so glad I did! My first visit I got the chicken curry with garlic naan. The curry was amazing! So much flavor and spice. I enjoyed it so much, I have gone there weekly for the past month. I have taken many friends and family there as well, and they all loved it. The food is spectacular. They have to work on their website and online stuff, but they get the important things done right- the food is fantastic. When I was asked about level of spicy/hot just fyi medium is quite hot. I can tell you first hand that It's difficult opening a new business here in the valley dealing with employees and all but I really hope they can get their act together and excel because their food is that good! The place is a little Spartan, but the ambiance is good. The food was amazing; the butter chicken was wonderful. I got it medium spicy, and it was pretty up there, and I like spicy food. I forgot to order naan with my entree--a dumb mistake. Once it got there, the garlic naan was amazing. They were polite and prompt; the only suggestion I would make would be to check in a little more often. read more

This is a new restaurant to Kalispell. The atmosphere was nice. The service was pleasant but a little slow. It was a Friday night about 5:00pm. There was no problem having a conversation with your guests. The food was excellent. I had the Paneer Coconut Korma and my wife had Vegetable Korma. We had medium hot on spices and it was perfect. We also ordered the Onion Nann with spices. Really good. Overall a great dinner and experience. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order. This restaurant is in a low key building, yet is clean and quiet and has a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying our meal. The menu is huge considering it's a small restaurant and everything looked good.. it was hard to decide. We ordered the garlic basil naan bread. It was wonderful! My husband ordered a couple pastries that were stuffed with veges. The pastry was flakey and tender and the flavor great. I ordered a prawn dish that had spinach in it... I can't remember the name of it.... but it was absolutely delicious, served with rice. My husband ordered a vegetarian dish with potatoes and cauliflower also served with rice. It was all outstanding. I also need to mention that the service was great... the servers were pleasant and took excellent care of us. Apparently they also have takeout. We live an hour away, but we will definitely be back! If we are running short of time, we will take advantage of their takeout when we run our errands in Kalispell. We highly recommend this restaurant. We wish they would open one in Polson Montana too, but if not, it's definitely worth the drive. read more

Nice little gem in Kalispell. Flavorful food and the service was good too. We had a party of 17 and they were so nice to accommodate us and the food came out quickly also. I would order lower on the spice scale than you normally would and get a side of the spice paste. Overall very happy. The Tikka Masala was tasty and the samosa chat was excellent!! I was extremely surprised with this restaurant. The food was excellent! All of their curries were on point and definitely tasted like home made Nepalese curries. You can never go wrong with Tikka Masala. I personally recommend the lamb dishes for this restaurant. I believe they use actual spices, not one of those artificial ones. Curry was blended and I can see the chunk of the herbs use for this dish. I was very impressed. Service was amazing! I really appreciate the servers hospitality. But they need more servers. The vibe of the place was little dark and gloomy. So maybe some brighter color on the walls or ambient light on the ceiling can lighten up the place. Let me start by saying the food is excellent. Specifically, my lamb coconut korma was stellar! But who I want to highlight is the owner. We have had a terrible experience with a delivery service (Uber Eats if you must know). Still, the owner made sure to communicate with us, the driver, and devise a plan, all while he was managing the dining room. The food itself would cause me to give it a five star rating, but the customer service was what makes me wish I could give them six stars, I will definitely be back, and you should go too! read more

Excellent. I grew up around good indian food, and this is good. Spicy IS spicy. Thoroughly recommend the lamb dishes, and biryani was wonderful. This place is only newly open (~2 week a as of writing this) so I'd imagine there any bad reviews before this should be taken with a grain of salt and put down to working out a few bugs. read more

Excellent Nepalese/Indian food and a welcome addition to the Flathead Valley (where "ethnic food" options are somewhat limited). Authentic flavors, generous portions, and actually spicy when we requested it to be. The service was fast and very friendly, the owner clearly cares about the customer experience and maintaining quality. The restaurant is located in the same building as a casino however feels quite separate from it with a clean and warm ambiance, we did take out but would consider dining in next time.
