You'll find a expansive selection of chocolates in wide range of flavors. My wife and I are about halfway though a box of these mouthwatering chocolates and everything has been heavenly. The best part is that these truffles range from$1-$2.25 each, which is very reasonable compared to other chocolate shops. My boyfriend lives on the Blackfeet Reservation, but he loves eating in Whitefish before dropping me off at the airport. We've perused this terrific, cosy bookstore for over a year only to learn a few weeks ago, about the chocolate store in the back. I'm Thai. Most of the time, American desserts are teeth-shockingly saccharine, and after a bite, I need to rinse my tongue from the sugar. Not these chocolates, no. We got the fudge, which was superb in that it was rich in the mouth but left no residue, the walnut caramel clusters in milk chocolate, where the walnuts were crunchy without being hard, the malt balls are to DIE for! (It's white chocolate or something encasing a chocolate layer AND a crispy but not chalky malt middle) and chocolate covered caramels and almonds. They were so good that what my boyfriend and I bought earnestly to give as gifts... we've instead consumed for ourselves, ha! Our family won't know what they're missing if they don't have it, right? read more

This place has a lot of old books which is great if you want vintage. I'm not opposed to vintage by any means. The store has that wonderful smell of old books and vintage finds. They also have a small variety of chocolate. We were here in Nov. 2018. So why only a one star, in a word, Staff. I would never go back into this place again. The woman who was working obviously did not want to be there . She had one other customer browsing the books and her attitude was one of irritation and disinterest. She wanted nothing to do with helping or welcoming customers. She should have been retired. I am a senior so can say it she was the perfect image of a crotchety old lady. We did purchase a few pieces of chocolate which was inferior in quality. This was the ONLY business in all of Whitefish where we were treated like this. I will go back to Whitefish and avoid this place like the plague. Definitely go to Whitefish and enjoy the town, people and outdoors, you will love it. But by all means bypass this store. read more

Nothing like a day going to consignment stores, thrift stores and gift shops while on vacation. When my friend and I happened upon this great little shop. It has a consignment shop within this chocolate shop. It is a high end consignment store that also has a rock shop in the basement and lots of books upstairs too. I could spend so much time here, too bad we were kind of pinched on time because I could of looked through everything in the store. Next time I'm in Whitefish I will have this on my list of places to visit for sure!!! read more

https://www.ada.gov/service_animals_2010.htm Service animals were clearly not welcome, as the woman behind the counter came and asked me what disability I had (which is illegal for businesses to ask service dog handlers), told me that I wasn't allowed in part of the store because I had my dog with me and there was food there, I was told that I couldn't go too close to the other customers in the store because there were children, and I was scoffed at when I explained that I needed my dog or I may risk losing conciousness and hurting myself by falling. I tried explaining the ADA laws and was scoffed at again. If you have a disability that requires a service dog, just know you're going to be treated badly in this establishment. read more

Hidden in the back of a bookstore, the chocolate here is delicious. They have a great mix of truffles with creative combinations. I don't have any specific recommendations because all the chocolate I got was delicious. I would recommend getting some sweet treats here! read more

Such a cute and eclectic shop. I was super excited when she told me she made all of the chocolates and truffles herself. That is until we tried a few. Quality was low, flavors were almost non-existent, they were not good at all. Plus, the prices were high. Not inappropriate for high-end chocolate, but these didn't taste high-end. read more

Went online looking for a candy shop. Found Copperleaf Chocolates in Whitefish. We got there about 15 minutes before they closed on Monday afternoon. The sign on the door said No Children Under 5 Years. Masks Required. No problem. My husband and I had our 5 & 7 year old grandkids with us and we were all wearing masks. So no one under 5. When we walked in the woman behind the counter asked if she could help us. I told her we were looking for candy. They have a large selection of candy, some behind a counter and others on shelves. Each child had one of us with them at all times. When the women came to the candy counter and asked what we wanted she seemed somewhat put off when I asked about the flavors of different color turtle candies. My granddaughter asked for a specific candy and changed her mind, once. She showed her disapproval. We got our candies and went to purchase them. She ignored our granddaughter when our granddaughter said something to her. Very unfriendly when I paid. She acted very inconvenienced by our presence. I asked her if she gets many children in the shop to buy candy. She ignored me. We will definitely not be going back. Oh, the chocolates were mediocre at best. I got a Haystack, chocolate covered coconut. The chocolate was ok but the coconut was finely ground it didn't have texture or flavor. It may be time for her to retire if paying customers are so unwelcome. I wish I had read the reviews before going in. Curious to know why she carries candy, an item most children like, but doesn't welcome a demographic within her own parameter...5+ years. read more

Purchased truffles here. The champagne truffles were hands down the best. The chocolate was tempered correctly so you got that awesome snap when you bit into them. The filling was smooth and flavored well. We tried about 12 others and only the dark chocolate salted caramel came close in texture, flavor and balance compared to the champagne. If you enjoy chocolate, give this place a go. It you love chocolate and single origins etc this is a nice place with moderate offerings. read more

Been in here a few times. The last time, and I mean last, i got a coffee, had to ask for cream, she poured it like it was coming out of her paycheck and didnt even ask if it was enough before she stopped my "ration." The best part is the owner was standing there and acting like that was how they do proper business. $2 for a drip coffee and i cant even make it the way i want? Seriously. I can get an americano at coffee traders for that and be treated like a customer, not an annoyance. Oh and there's an overpriced used clothing store downstairs, but you can't take your coffee. read more
