I feel in love with it as soon as I opened the door. The smell of books and feel of those old covers. Highly recommended. There are tons and tones of books here. I ended up with 15 romance. They were selling a bunch of books as a bundle and even had a sign that the bag they were in wasn't included, just seemed silly to me that they'd sell what looked like at least 20 books then not give you the reusable bags. Books are very old and all sort just stacked on top of each other and all over the place.

It's an old timey building that's been renovated but still has its old charm and historic interior. I expected a coffee shop inside, and I found a mini store with a coffee shop section in the back. I love all the products in the store. It's a mixture of local products such as candles, soaps, lotions, lip balms, bath products, teas, jams, etc. You could easily find gifts for so many people, and yourself!! The barista was helpful and knowledgeable in guiding me through the extensive tea selection to find the perfect blend for my chai. I bought some loose leaf tea to take home, and the barista was great to chat with while she made my chai. Also, this store donates part of their profits to environmental charities, and they strive to be as sustainable as possible. My only complaint is that it opens at 10. Bay Books and Prints is a great bookstore. They have a large selection of great used books that you…read moreprobably couldn't find anywhere else. They even have antique prints and interesting maps of Montana. Pat is so kind and friendly and may have some nice stories to share with you. He also knows a great deal about history, especially about the history of Montana. Looking at the incredible quality of these older and newer books, I thought for sure some of them would be about a hundred dollars at least, but they were only twenty dollars or so. Some of the books even have that beautiful old-fashioned hardcover with fabric and detailed binding. For the amount of information, and the great quality of the books, you cannot simply past up on the great value you will receive at Bay Books and Prints. Please, do not skip this bookshop on your visit to the Flathead Valley!
