First time here as we came here for breakfast/lunch. Service and food were excellent. Food was well priced and delicious. Service was friendly and accommodating. Great place to grab a bite to eat for golfers and non- golfers.

We attended my cousin's beautiful wedding on a Friday evening. It was a picture perfect evening! The staff were friendly and good at their jobs. They played multiple roles during the entire event. From setting up, bartending, serving the three course meal, and cleaning up. They played a huge role in the success of the memorable event. I hope they are paid well because they were all polite and smiling the entire time! The venue itself sits atop a hillside, hence the name. Lol. Excellent use of space! There was a deck overlooking LA, and the other patio area where we had cocktail hour had a beautiful backdrop of the golf course filled with greenery and tall trees. It drizzled a bit on this evening but the patio kept everyone dry. There were about 9 tables that seated everyone comfortably. Dance floor, DJ booth, and Photobooth were all fitted in the space. Large bar with top shelf offerings, which weren't included in the open bar menu (2 hours), but we're adults, we can buy top shelf drinks if you really wanted it! All in all, I'd recommend this venue for any event! Parking wasn't a problem either. Street parking available as well as parking lot across the street.

Food was okay. Service was so-so initially and then we were abandoned, never saw any refills which was unfortunate. We sat outside which was okay, so the ambiance was all golf course or weed whacker noise. Not sure how long we waited but the server did come back about an hour and a half after our party of 10 was served. Thirsty by that time we were. I suppose were I a golfer I'd have been in second heaven. Sharing the late George Carlin's views on that game, well I was not overjoyed. Very busy and parking was crazy, all in all not for the hoi pelloi.

Beignets - are amazing, however, they are on the breakfast menu so you can order them only before 1 o'clock. Love it!

We had another lunch here with a group of friends and we really enjoyed. - the view is spectacular. The service was good. Will be definitely returning.

Finally tried this place out few days ago with my son. I have been hearing from friends about this place but never been. It's located on a gold course and has great views all around. It's a very pleasant atmosphere I gotta say. Love sitting in nature surrounded with big trees. The service is ok and so is the food. I ordered the club sandwich with fries and we shared it with my son. It tasted good. Unfortunately I can't write anything else about the food yet since I haven't tried anything else. I'll update my review once I come back.

We drove up here to get a breath of fresh air and open space. We loved the outdoor space and the food was just right. Hope to be back to try out a few more options. This go round I had the Grilled chicken sandwich with avacado on brioche bun. Very good. Kid menu as well.

We had our wedding in December at Debell, and it was perfect! Beth and all of the staff were so amazing. They really made the day so amazing. The food was great, and the venue was beautiful!

I chose to set up my cake at the corner. You could see me and my groom having a photoshoot... Look at that view though!

Hilltop Restaurant and Bar is a gem as it is conveniently located inside DeBell Golf Course where my wedding was held in 2021. I've searched far and wide all over LA County and Orange County, DeBell offers everything I was looking for! To top that off, the Director, Meredith, and her team provided world class service. #1 BEST OUTDOOR WEDDING CEREMONY AT DEBELL MATCHED WITH EXCEPTIONAL RECEPTION AT THE HILLTOP RESTAURANT I can't express enough how happy I am every time I look at my wedding photos. It came out very beautiful with sprawling green grass and lush trees showcasing its scenic mountain views. I got a sweet deal with their ceremony and reception package. There's nothing like it. Trust me, I'm a seasoned accountant who watches every penny so organizing this event meant having a long spreadsheet of all the venues I called for comparison. Nothing beats it. #2 REASONABLY PRICED ENTREES AND AWESOME PACKAGES This was the biggest struggle of all with competitive outdoor venues. OTHER outdoor venues charge an outrageous price just for the wedding ceremony alone with NO FOOD. OTHERS who allow outside catering charge ridiculous kitchen fees and no servers. DeBell, on the other hand, along with Hilltop Restaurant, combines their beautiful outdoor space for ceremony along with fantastic menu packages to choose from. The packages even includes my favorite Chiavari chairs and long table linens (these two are a MUST for me). My guests loved the food so congrats, Chef! I was so blown away by everything they offered. I signed up fast to save the date. Special thanks to the leadership of Meredith Anderson. She has incredible attention to detail, super organized, and responds fast. A FEW SMALL NOTES... they offer golf cart rides for the elders and disabled. They also have an elevator. The bride's room is spacious enough, with vanity, and great AC for summer (so your make-up doesn't melt). Everything was excellent. I highly recommend this place!

Bland and dry tuna sandwich. Dressing was terrible. You can't even see the paper thin tomato slice. Not even a pickle spear.

Granville came recommended for their gluten free offerings and that proved to be completely true. We arrived to a full patio on a weekday, with a mixture of smart dressed likely business individuals and more casual locals, but the staff worked out how to make a smaller table fit 4 of us so we could enjoy the sun too. We ordered a round of amazing drinks and met our waitress, who was just as kind as she was knowledgeable. She talked with us casually, which I love, gave us great recommendations, and knew the gluten free offerings forwards and backwards. Not only did she know the menu, she came out with everything we requested in one go, which seems rare anymore in serving. The food here is amazing. It's local, quality, and even with a gluten free bun, moist and flavorful. None of us could shut up about this place and honestly, I'm surprised I'd never been before. Definitely will be back.

Completely different menu. Food was beyond sub par you can make the food at home and would taste better! Save your money. Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

Think about it: they're running the entire operation behind the scenes- servers, inventory, scheduling, front of house, kitchen area, customers, and putting up with all the nonsense in between, and I know there's a lot of *that* as a former restaurant worker myself! That's why Allison at Finney's is so kick-ass. She runs Finney's flawlessly. I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Allison does such a great job of providing a great customer experience from the moment I walk in to paying my tab. It's not just her welcoming demeanor, but it's also the same positive energy I see in the staff when she's running things. It's nice to know there are still places that care about a great customer experience and making you and your friends right at home, especially when you're celebrating with some of your closest friends and creating perhaps some of your final memories of LA.

Amazed that it was $14 and it was a pretty big flatbread! I would say that the proscuitto wasnt spread out enough. There were some pieces that didnt have any at all! First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..
