We took a brief stint away during "Covid Times" but started back at the beginning of kindergarten. It has been an extremely positive experience. We found the few issues we've raised over the years have been taken seriously and handled professionally. Ms. Janice, Ms. Kat, and Ms. Diana have been fantastic - even when I'd forgotten to let them know my daughter wouldn't be on the after-school bus. They are extraordinarily kind, quick-witted and a pleasure to interact with on a daily basis. Our daughter's teachers, from Ms Joanna when she was an infant - to Ms Zee, once she hit elementry school -have taken care of our kid like she was one of their own. Every teacher and administrator that our daughter has come in contact with has kept a gentle sense of humor when confronted with our daughter's awe-inspiring imagination. We've been very fortunate to find a place that lets our kid be herself. If you are in the market for childcare - this is an excellent place to stash your kid for the day or after-school. I had to send my daughter there because of the proximity from where I live. But I would say driving a lit longer and have your kids in a safe school with management/owner who sincerely value their customers is well invested and worth it. Ms. Amaiya has been outstanding with our daughter while she was in Toddler B. Our daughter loves her so much so that now that she has moved on from her class, she will still sometimes refuse to enter the new class unless Ms. Amaiya is there. She has been so great that she'll often at times help take her in the morning until her current teacher is available to get her. We are extremely grateful for her! Currently, our daughter is in Ms. Stephanie's class and she loves and trusts her as well. Ms. Stephanie has been incredible and is always available to give us updates on our daughter's potty training. She encourages her all the time to do things on her own and she's been so crucial for us in helping us potty train our daughter. The front desk of TLE has been amazing as well! Ms. Jessica and her team have done an amazing job and really have given a lot of consistency to the facility that we felt was lacking for a while. Seeing Ms. Jessica's and Ms. Phoenix's faces in the morning always lights up our daughter's face. We are moving away soon and won't be able to send our daughter here. We will truly miss the staff and all they have done for our daughter. They have made such a big impact on our daughter's and our lives and we hope we've made a lasting impression as well.

My son's teachers kept quitting and new teachers were joining, with the average tenure of teachers being 1-3 months. (In stark contrast, he now goes to a different daycare where he has the same teachers throughout the almost 9 months he has spent there. ) There was a teacher in his classroom who reported having Covid to the school but the school did not send out a timely notice, only sent it out after I emailed them and asked about the incident. My son ended up getting Covid and resultant chronic ear infections from their tardiness. Very disturbing, callous and borderline illegal. Don't send your kid here.

Our Year 2 Tiger-Rock Hutto Update!…read more We're officially heading into year two at Tiger-Rock Hutto, and watching our daughters journey has been nothing short of amazing. She's already working her way toward her brown belt, and we couldn't be more proud of how far she's come! When we started this journey, I knew Taekwondo would help her physically, but I didn't realize just how much it would impact her mentally and emotionally too. She is stronger, more disciplined, and more confident. I've watched her learn to speak up for herself, push through things that challenge her, and carry herself with a confidence that wasn't always there before. Seeing that growth as her mom has been one of my favorite parts of this entire experience. The competitions have also been such an important part of her development. They give her an opportunity to step outside of her comfort zone, apply what she's learning in class, and see where she can improve. Every competition has helped her sharpen her techniques, build confidence, and learn how to handle both wins and areas where she still has room to grow. She comes home each time stronger and motivated to keep getting better. I also want to personally recognize the Hatchetts. Going into a new place, I honestly worried about whether we would truly feel welcomed and like we belonged. Those worries didn't last long. They make a genuine effort to learn everyone's name, get to know the students and families, and build actual relationships. You never feel like you're just another customer. They know the kids, notice their progress, and take the time to recognize them when they're doing well. That means more than they probably realize. Overall, our experience with Tiger-Rock Hutto has been incredible. We've seen so much growth in Nyzhia, not just as a martial artist, but as a person. We're incredibly proud of her journey, grateful for the people who have been part of it, and genuinely happy to be part of the Tiger-Rock family.
