I have been riding with Gina since I was 8 and she is truly the best trainer in the Austin area. She is extremely patient with all of her students and is willing explain the much-needed detail about the mechanics of riding that many trainers always seem to skip over. Throughout the years I have seen her completely transform many horses and riders and is very adaptable with her teaching style and easily can train everyone and their needs. The facility also has one of the most the gorgeous barns I have ever been to and is extremely well maintained. Holly and the rest of the staff that is in charge of the care of the horses take such good care of the all of the horses. Every one of the staff treats all of the horses as if it was their own personal horse and truly love being with the horses. Whenever I have to leave my horse for a couple of days I never have to worry about him because I always know that the whole staff will go the extra mile to make sure he is happy while I am gone. If you are looking for a barn to expand your riding skills or in need of a facility that takes phenomenal care of your horse, this is definitely the one to chose. I started riding with Gina when I moved to Texas two years ago, and all I can say is that I am so glad to have found her. Hilltop Farm is the only place to be in Austin. Gina Piccinni is the best trainer in Austin. She is calm, patient, smart, innovated, and adapts to your learning style. She is always an advocate for the horse and works with their personalities to enhance your riding experience. She handles every emergency with grace and drops everything to be with you and your horse. She is always up to date on the best quality grain, hay and shavings and provides those top notch products for all her horses. She is above and beyond anything I have ever experienced in my lifetime of riding. Not only is Gina amazing, but the staff at Hilltop is also amazing. They know all the horses and their quirks, take the time to hand walk them when the weather is bad, and take immediate action in an emergency. Hilltop is my second home and family. I love to hang out at the barn and talk with everyone. Even after 5-6 hours I still have a hard time pulling myself away. I've been riding with Gina for several years now and I am so grateful to have found her. I've never met a trainer who goes to the lengths she does for both horse and Rider. I can't emphasise​ how much I've improved as a rider over the years because of Gina's way of teaching. She really helps you to understand your horse's movement and mind, which I think is a lost art in today's riding. Hilltop farm is a home away from home, the staff are very friendly and carefully monitor the horses everyday. From turnouts, hand walking, grazing, bathing, wrapping, and blanketing, hilltop farm makes sure each horse looks and feels at it's best. A happy, fat horse is the best horse! The students, trainers, and staff are much like a family and always hangout at the barn, have lunch, trail ride, etc., together. We are a team when it comes to riding and every of one us encourages and supports one another. No drama and competition here! Hilltop is absolutely amazing. My horse is happier than ever at the facility, and everyone is extremely friendly! Gina is a phenomenal trainer who's helped me and my horse become an amazing team (with plenty of blue ribbons!). I never worry about my horse when I'm out of town or can't make it to the stables because I know he'll have all the care and love as if I were there. Hilltop Farm has been amazing since day one! My 8 year old started riding in May of 2020 and it has been the best experience we could have ever asked for.
