He is also one of the most knowledgeable I've ever met - a storehouse of incredible information, and he regularly suprises me with guitar and guitar gear facts I was not aware of! He's also a very nice guy, a very good player, and he's very reasonable in price. He's not the quickest ('cause he's busy) but he's one of the best out there. He works out of his finished garage at his home, which makes it a pleasant experience visiting with him when bringing him more work. I've used him now for a couple of years and for a number of projects and I highly recommend him.

Other's have already said it, I'm just here to concur. Jon always goes above and beyond. Had an 80's explorer that needed an overhaul on the neck and a refret job, as well as wiring replaced for some new pickups. He did it all and threw in some new switches and tuners for free b/c he noticed the old ones were jank. Next time I took my new 7 string to get the guts removed and install some BareKnuckles, which he needed to carve some space in the body in order for them to fit (you'd never know, it looks like it was built for them) and then custom rigged the pickups to make use of the push/pull tone knob to use the previous pickup's passive battery as a gain boost, a la tubescreamer, but built right into the guitar itself! Cannot recommend Jon enough.

He got to me in the timeframe provided and was very friendly. My dog was walking around while he was working and became best friends with Ron. While working on the piano, he noticed that I had some stuck keys and rusted strings. He communicated with me potential ideas, and we both worked through solutions. At the end of the tuning, he played some amazing music and even polished my piano!
