This camp is great. Convenient bus pick up. All day camp with varied activities. Not outrageously priced.

This place was an amazing camp for my kids last summer. They were open during Covid and kept the kids safe and socialized. Thank you staff!

Service: 5 Facility: 5, Products: TBD…read more Our group of 5 came to try out making pottery during the Valentine's Day promotion, which is now sold out. Rakhi and her staff, including Maya and Karis, were fantastic. Our ability to follow directions and create the initial form varied among our group, and some had to restart from the beginning more than once. Maya was very patient with us and adjusted how much she assisted by each person's ability. Knowing we were first timers, the staff were very encouraging and helpful as we selected our shapes and attempted to create them. They also helped us personalize each piece with additional designs, and we're very excited to see how everything turns out. There are two parts to this class, creating a piece for baking and in a few weeks we'll return to paint and glaze the pieces so they're food safe. I think we're going to take a longer course the next time!

The event post noted one price and when we got to the event, we were told it would cost extra to glaze the bowl which was a necessary step make the clay piece food-safe. We were making dog bowls so of course we wanted them to be food-safe but it was a bummer that we would have to pay an additional fee on top of what we had already paid. I was charged more than others in my group! We were instructed to make our bowls outside on the picnic tables which weren't flat surfaces. The event poster also stated that we could shape our clay by hand or use the spinning wheel. The spinning wheels weren't even offered to us. Overall, I attended this event to make new friends and create something nice for my dog. I accomplished both so that was a win! While I most likely won't come back, this business is a fun concept that is great for groups of young children and I even saw a mother bring in her young daughter with her to glaze pottery together which was so sweet but the pricing and timing to pick up your artwork could be clearer. Also parking is very limited so park next door at the gymnasium.

It was over a 300 point increase from the year before, which is almost unbelievable. (I attached a picture of her "Accelerated Progress" chart in the photos section.) Heather and Mallik respond promptly to queries and are pleasant to work with, and there are regular reports to keep tabs on your child's progress. I definitely recommend Mathnasium to anyone concerned about their child's mathematics skills. We're taking a break for a little while, but I plan to re-enroll my daughter in the future.

I can't speak for their regular classes that they hold for grade school kids, I can only speak for myself and the private tutoring I received for my college mathematics class. I'll start off with the owner (who's name I do not remember) who was extremely nice and worked with me both time-wise and financially to get these tutoring sessions done. I had the chance of working with two different tutors (Heather & Reddy) - both of whom were excellent and did a really substantial job at helping me to UNDERSTAND the assignments that I brought in with me, rather than just doing the problems and hoping for the best later on. So if you're in college and need a private tutor, don't feel silly about calling this place up (although you may have a 5-year-old sitting behind you getting tutored as well occasionally ;). They will really help you to learn what I like to call Satan's Language - and that is Math.

Only giving 4 stars because of the location…read more It is in a very small little house and it is almost always packed regardless of day/time of day. Parking is also not great. But their selection of paint and pottery is awesome. I also like the way they allow you to get your own paint unlike some places that limit you to colors. They have really cute pieces to paint and seems like they have a lot of seasonal switch ups which is appreciated. We did a cute little butterbell and it turned out so good!

Plus, I may…read morebe a little biased because my parents used to run a paint it yourself ceramic shop when I was growing up. So places like this are very nostalgic for me. It's very small on the inside, compared to other do-it-yourself ceramic shops that I've been to. But honestly, I found that quite quaint and cozy. I find that their ceramic pieces were pretty affordable compared to some of the other ceramic shops I've been to in Austin. They have their paints separated by brights and detailed versus more earthy tone colors. And unfortunately, they tell you that you shouldn't mix them because they won't come out looking good. So you have to figure out what you want your piece to look like before hand, bright with small details? Or more earthy tones? My husband went with the bright and details, while my friend and I decided to go for earthy tones. My husband painted a wall switch plate, I painted a feather bowl, and my friend painted a mug. They were all done and ready to be picked up about a week and a half later. And they came out great! I enjoyed myself, and my husband and I have already discussed coming back perhaps for a date day :)

My children were given a tour of the facility and a mini coding experience from the Director, Kimberly. Code Ninjas teaches coding for kids ages 7 to 14 through a fun gaming curriculum. Parents can choose what hours they would like their children to attend and can pay for the classes on a monthly, six-month or annual basis. They offer drop-in learning, coding summer camps, STEM-based birthday parties and various programs. Children are engaged to stay motivated in the program as they progress in levels of difficulty (earning belts like a ninja; from white to black) as they learn to code; for example, they start in JavaScript and end in C#. When the kids go through each achievement level, the goal is to build self confidence, work on problem-solving skills and critical thinking, and learning how to collaborate with each other. The classes at this location are taught by college students who are CS or Engineering majors (or something of the like). This establishment offers a great way for kids to learn invaluable skills in the ever changing technological landscape. The caveat is these lessons as with everything comes at a price $$$.
