My daughter started at Learning Experience Georgetown when she was twelve weeks old. She'll be nine in a few months. We took a brief stint away during "Covid Times" but started back at the beginning of kindergarten. It has been an extremely positive experience. We found the few issues we've raised over the years have been taken seriously and handled professionally. Ms. Janice, Ms. Kat, and Ms. Diana have been fantastic - even when I'd forgotten to let them know my daughter wouldn't be on the after-school bus. They are extraordinarily kind, quick-witted and a pleasure to interact with on a daily basis. Our daughter's teachers, from Ms Joanna when she was an infant - to Ms Zee, once she hit elementry school -have taken care of our kid like she was one of their own. Every teacher and administrator that our daughter has come in contact with has kept a gentle sense of humor when confronted with our daughter's awe-inspiring imagination. We've been very fortunate to find a place that lets our kid be herself. If you are in the market for childcare - this is an excellent place to stash your kid for the day or after-school. I have to add this update because it is not a personal problem with Janice, the director. In general, the owner (Dave King) and the management are rude and lack professionalism. So you won't get any of your concerns properly heard or addressed. I never had such bad experience or felt abused/ignored with any Daycare/School in the past as I felt with TLE Georgetown. I had to send my daughter there because of the proximity from where I live. But I would say driving a lit longer and have your kids in a safe school with management/owner who sincerely value their customers is well invested and worth it. That being said, still I am giving that place one star while it deserves none, only because of Catarina, the admission coordinator. She is the sweetest person ever. read more

We are so happy to have moved to The Learning Experience. The daycare is bright, clean, and welcoming. All of the staff, from the director to the teachers, are incredibly friendly and kind. The teachers are attentive and get to know each child and his/her likes, dislikes, strengths, and weaknesses. In the short few months that we have been going there, my 4 yr old son has become more confident, his language has improved, and his love for learning has grown. Aside from learning to read and do math at his young age, he is also expanding his social skills. The teacher he has is one of the best preschool teachers that I have encountered. She makes sure there's a good balance between working hard and playing hard. All of the kids in her class are excited to see her at the beginning of the day and leave her class with a smile on their face. What more could you ask for? My daughter goes here and we love it so much. I feel that the management does a wonderful job of finding good teacher talent. My daughter has loved both teachers she had very much. Ms. Britany made her a handmade hippo when she graduated to the next class. She takes it everywhere with her and talks about Ms. Britany often. I am also impressed with how welcome I feel as a parent. Because of Covid, parents weren't let inside this year but they somehow managed to make us feel very involved and included. I will definitely be keeping her here until she goes to school! We love it. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this daycare. My son has been going here since he was about one and the lever of care and love and education are above and beyond what one would expect in a daycare. They accommodate his cloth diapers, had amazingly safe Covid protocols, and the teachers and staff are just spectacular. I can tell they care about my son as a person, not a walking $ amount. I'm excited for him to tell or show me all the things he learned. And they really let his personality flourish. Plus, he made some lasting friends! I wish I could give 6 stars...out of 5. I had three foster children here and the love, nurturing, and engagement that my littles experienced brought me nothing but comfort. If I had a question, I was able to call and anyone who answered the phone made me feel valued. My three year old started there and was just starting potty training..they went beside me to finish training him. I left because of Covid..and fear of exposure to it with my husband's health. After I left, I was able to talk to the franchise owner, and again felt valued and respected. My Master's is in teaching, and I highly recommend TLE Georgetown. read more

We started at TLE Georgetown after a poor experience at a different center. Long story short in the beginning, things were awesome. Staff was friendly and management were approachable and clearly invested in the success of their center. Lots of things going for TLE Georgetown, clean, bright, colorful. Our little one was happy and so were we for a number of months. Increasingly, this center has been plagued by high turnover for whatever reason. We have been told that this is just the way things go in child care. Perhaps that is the case, perhaps not. As a direct/indirect result of this turnover there seems to be a lack of quality care for our child and we have had multiple incidents that lead me to the unavoidable conclusion that there is a serious flaw in supervision in some classrooms. This may come off as a disgruntled parent writing a negative review. I am honestly hoping that they can learn from this and find something they can change. It is still better than where we came from, but we now know there is better out there. Do your research and be sure you know exactly what you are getting. read more

I posted my 5-star review sometime ago but my comments didn't save. My husband and I have been so impressed with the caliber of this preschool. My son started here in June 2017 after we had a great experience with him being there during spring break. We moved him from another school and we wish we would have made the move months earlier! My almost 5-year old son loves this school. He is nurtured, encouraged, and challenged here. From the owners, to the directors, to the teaching staff, there is a genuine positive energy. I have been impressed with their conscientiousness, dedication to excellence, and genuine faith in their students. We are so grateful we found this school. This place is awesome! My boy was home with me until he was 5 months than with a nanny until he was 2years old. I didnt trust daycares and I was terrified with the idea of it. But necessity came and I had to find one. It was hard. Most daycares I visited were in old buildings or houses, the rooms had windows but werent too bright and they were so small too. The learning experience in Georgetown was a very different experience from the start. The building is super clean and modern. The owner is there everyday and she is super passionate and educated about children. I was at peace from the first moment. My boy has been learning a lot!! And he is loving it. They helped me through every step of the way and adaptation process. One day I was secretly observing him playing outside and the teachers could not see me through the glass... the moment where I thought I would see my kid being neglected is when I actually saw him hugging Mrs Krystal and she hugging him back and being so genuine to him. I love this school, I trust them and theres no better place in north Austin. read more

My son started at TLE Georgetown before summer 2017 and overall, we have been very pleased with his progress. We have him in a two-morning-a-week program which suits our needs perfectly and the staff is supportive and personable. My only qualm is that the summer course costs an additional blanket amount on top of tuition and if you are only on the two-day-a-week schedule, you have to pay, but get none of the benefits (like a splash pad, class parties etc). But the facility is clean and colorful. My son loves his teachers and the support staff are always cheerful. It is definitely the best daycare program in the Georgetown area. read more

We will have been at TLE Georgetown for a year come May 2017. Our two year old son loves it! Being a first time mom and having had a bad experience at another day care in the area made me cautious and wary. We kept our son out of daycare for almost a year, but after my mom had to go back home (8 hours away) to take care of a sick family member, we knew we would have to put our son back in daycare. I pored through our options, did my research, read reviews, looked at the DSHS inspections page, and there was one above the rest: TLE Georgetown. He started in the toddler room and has now moved into the twaddler room. It was a rough start for us at first because our son would cry every morning, and it was difficult for me to trust another daycare, but I am so glad we stuck with it! TLE is great! The owners, Lilia and David, are really involved and down to earth people, we see them at the front desk or in the classrooms nearly every day. Some of the teachers, and the owners, even have their own children enrolled in the daycare in different classrooms. Every teacher there knows my son by name. He is always greeted by every staff member we pass on our way in and on our way out, it really is like family there. We use their early morning option, they open at 6:30am, which is great since we have to drive into downtown Austin for work, plus we get a state employee discount. His early morning teacher, Ms. Joleen is sweet, and our son is always excited to see her in the mornings. He transitions to his own classroom with his regular teacher, Ms. Logan, around 8am. She is wonderful with our son and with all of the kids; she is nurturing and encourages all of them to explore and learn, while reinforcing that they be kind to one another in the process. She talks to and treats my son like I would, and its very reassuring. When my husband and I did have a concern that came up, we were able to talk to Megan, the director, and meet with David, one of the owners, who both respectfully and openly communicated with us and took our concern seriously. I really appreciated that I could feel comfortable talking to them. Having a daycare that provides quality care, nurtures my child as he grows, openly communicates with us, and supports parents involvement, has been such a great experience for us. They also get involved with the community and reinforce the concept of charity and philanthropy as part of their regular curriculum. Yes, they have a curriculum! If you are considering TLE Georgetown for your child, I highly recommend them. If it's a rough transition for your child, or for you, like it was for me and my son, just stick with it, as hard as it was for me to trust a new daycare, I'm so glad I did because I wouldn't want my son anywhere else. This place is a child's best dream! Fun activities for all ages and a awesome slide that flows right into a ball pit. Good luck getting your kids to go home after a trip on the slide. The entire facility is super clean and ready for all ages. No need to wait on a waiting list when you can get right in! What's not to love. The owners are super knowledgeable and live right in the community. This daycare is easily accessible and quick to get the kids in and you on your way to work with quick access to I35 and 130 toll road. I wouldn't want my kids going anywhere else but here. My daughter has been at TLE for almost 2 years and she absolutely loves it and so do I! I could not be more pleased with the staff, the curriculum, and the positive atmosphere TLE provides. Special shout out to the owners David and Lilia and the directors Janice and Logan for doing such an amazing job running the place. They really do go above and beyond. My daughter has absolutely adored each one of her teachers since she's been there (she's moved up a few times as she's aged) and she has learned SO much. I highly recommend stopping by to at least tour the facility if you haven't. I fell in love the second I stepped foot inside; and have been nothing less than satisfied ever since!! I give one star for the same reasons as many of the reviews I've read about this facility across several different platforms involving lack of overall care for my child. I guess it would be lack of training with the huge turnover of teachers in my daughters twaddler classroom, but the care for the children is severely lacking. I've asked them to follow through on our potty training schedule which never happened. I've walked into the class and she is wondering around with a poopie diaper and the teachers did nothing, until I finally changed her on the classroom changing table. I had to routinely check her diaper when we returned home for rashes where she's not been wiped (aka skid marks) and scratches from her diaper being fastened to tight on her waste line and cutting her skin. After several biting incidents that caused very bad bruising on my daughter (half of which could not be explained and were not witnessed). I decided to speak with Ms Lilia. She informed me this was common in daycares and then essentially brushed me off. Well, she's not aware that I went to school for a CDA, and that is entirely false. I made it clear that I am fine with bites happening but they must be documented and followed up on. (Normal pre school procedure) It did not take 24 hours for my daughter to be bit again, with no one even noticing. I asked the teachers in the classroom that day, who again were probably replacement teachers #12 or #13 in the twaddler room who simply shrugged, and said they don't remember if my daughter had been bitten that day or not! I don't know about other moms, but at this point I'm a little mad. Less then 24 hours ago I made it clear this was unacceptable, and here we are again... So I sternly told Ms Lilia I will be contacting their corporate office to ask how they want these incidents handled as a corporation because it's simply not being handled at all in this facility. It took 4 hours for the owner of this facility to expel my 2 year old daughter from TLE because I said I was going to call their corporation and let them know this is what's happening in a TLE facility and if this is the level of TLE childcare standards. Somehow this was aggressive, and terms for expelling my daughter? Needless to say we pulled our daughter and found a much safer program for her, and I hope all the parents that still have their children enrolled at TLE Georgetown take a second look at the people "caring" for their children. read more

Absolutely love The Learning Experience. They have great leadership and more importantly great teachers. My daughter started out in the infant A room and I was such a nervous, new mom dropping off my baby girl. But the teachers (Ms. Calli and Ms. Joanna) are the most awesome teachers. They made me feel so much more comfortable starting on day 1. My baby has since moved up and I was so sad when we were notified because I love the infant A room. But infant B room is the same with awesome, experienced teachers. My daughter loves the teachers so much and it warms my heart seeing the teachers interact with her. It doesn't matter who is at the front desk, my daughter gets greeted, by name, with a warm good morning every day. My baby (now 9 months) just smiles so big at them and I know I've chosen the right care for her. read more

The teachers here are so loving, and I feel like I have known them for years. This is one of the few daycares that have price/time options. The lunches they provide are great - at a previous, more expensive daycare, we had to bring our own lunch each day, so not only did we save money by switching, we saved a lot on meals alone. They worked with our schedules, and each day we're there, we're greeted with friendly faces. We highly recommend this daycare. read more

My son is in infant A class and has been since he was 10 weeks old (now 5 months). He's done really well and thrived at the Learning Experience. He loves miss Callie and really all of his teachers. It's comforting to see him smile at them in the mornings when I drop him off.
