OLD SCHOOL INTEGRITY & WORKMANSHIP…read more David's Flooring did a wonderful job on our new house in Issaquah. We are very pleased with the results. From the beginning, Eric and Cole were very responsive & helpful in assisting us with material and color selections and suggested products with superior quality & durability while staying within our budget. After months of shopping around, we decided to have David's team install LVP, carpet and handle all our millwork and casings which included complicated compound angles on our staircase. Their workmanship and attention to detail was very professional and more than met our picky expectations. The old-school honesty and integrity of everyone on David's team was truly refreshing. Eric managed our project and kept it on-time and on-budget. His attention to communication was impressive & timely even at 10pm at night and on weekends. We requested a few change orders along the way and they were charged at straight time and materials without the extra mark-ups most contractors tack on. Adrian was our onsite supervisor and was there every minute of every day. The flooring lead, Sergey and the carpet lead, Hector kept me informed and made suggestions that improved our end result. Over the last 42 years our family has built a number of custom homes and the experience with David's flooring was by far the best and was actually enjoyable. We would/will definitely use Eric and his team again and highly recommend them.

I did my homework on flooring/carpet in the area and David's flooring take a look. They were the only company willing to come take a look and get measurements in person. Additionally, they were the most responsive and prompt with quotes, estimates, and pricing. This job involved removing some laminate flooring, lining and cutting parts of the floor precisely, and ensuring the transition is smooth. They were able to supply my favorite plush carpet and take meticulous care of the hard floor trimming. The workmanship was top notch and glad I trusted David's flooring to make a big wish come true.

We worked with Jim Cate through the purchasing and scheduling process. Jim was wonderful in helping us pick a flooring product that matched our needs. We were wary about getting flooring from China, so Jim found us an American-made flooring product that was gorgeous and just what we wanted. We also found Jim very responsive in communication, which is great when dealing with remodeling the home. Scheduling was quick, and install went terrific. Randy and Bailen were our installers, and they treated our home with respect and were beyond courteous. These guys were real craftsman and took care of every detail. Randy even apprehended a nasty wasp that got into the home. I was nervous about having workmen in the home, but Randy and Bailen were superb. Our condo now feels like a brand new place and looks like a showroom! Thanks for making this process such a good experience!

With all this effort the seams are still showing as you see in the pictures attached. Unfortunately, this company is happy to make a sale but that's where it ends. There was installation issues and now the carpet (Mohawk brand) which is supposed to have a very long fade resistance warranty has faded terribly by the windows after less than 5 years. When I called to discuss this I was met with hostility and no response by email or phone. I gave 2 stars because Angel in the Puyallup (Tacoma) store has said he would help. We will see. I am currently waiting for the installation department to contact me.

Save yourself a lot of trouble and stress and mental anguish, and do not buy anything here. Now we're stuck with floors that are not leveled and a few areas that have laminate that are separating... and what was supposed to be scratch resistant (did not get scratched up by my dog), was scratched by pushing dining room chairs into their place with the table? The first set of contractors they sent over were very quick, minus the sexual-harassment and attempted massage from one of them. I ignored it and just decided to stay away from my home (when they were working during the week) and I didn't tell my partner until after they were done (because I didn't want to slow the process of getting our floors done) ....because I knew if I said something then he wasn't going to allow the floors to be finished. Then later, I find out that our 16-year-old also felt uncomfortable around the same guy and complained to us. We did report that to the store. Besides that....We noticed immediately after the floors were installed that when walking around the kitchen island, the floors would sink. Probably a couple inches down to where you could see it separate from around the island. I complained immediately and they sent a different set of contractors out to fix the unloved floors, but they only fixed the area around the kitchen island. There are other areas in the dining room/living room that sink when you walk over the flooring and there's an area in front of the fireplace that is too high (to where it feels like there is a hill that you are walking up). Also, when you are walking throughout the house (depending on the weather outside), quite often you hear the sticky pads that are underneath the Mohawk laminate flooring. It almost sounds like a sticker is attached to the bottom of your foot in it un-sticks and re-sticks every time you take a step downstairs. I did complain about the small area of scratches on the floor and the lady who had helped us there conversed back-and-forth a couple times, and then she just stopped responding. We had even stopped back in person to talk about this, and she said she would get back to us and never did. We also had carpet installed upstairs. The carpet started showing wear pretty quickly on the stairwell. I had specifically asked about that for this carpet, and was told it was a good quality and wouldn't show wear quickly and had some sort of warranty. Before installation, I had mentioned some areas that squeak underneath the old carpet to the contractors replacing it, and asked if it could be addressed before laying new carpet over it. The carpet was replaced, but it was never checked out. I called the sales lady at great floors (will keep her name private) who had helped us to let her know, and they sent someone else out who pulled the carpet back up and put nails into the flooring instead of screws (in the few areas we had wanted addressed before the carpeting was installed), and rather quickly the nails popped up and the floor boards started squeaking again. There were more issues, but I won't continue on.... Except to mention how the baseboards were ripped up and broken and the contractors literally just put them back like that after doing the flooring. In some areas -pieces were put back together (like a treehouse, after a tornado), and stapled back along the baseboard line. I couldn't believe somebody would do work like that, and we instantly regretted taking away the hardwood flooring from the front door for this crap work. So what I'm basically wanting people to know is... Please don't waste your hard earned money here. You could go somewhere else for a better price and get quality work. I don't get that mentality of... "Well, this can't happen to me" because it surely can. Oh, and before I forget.... They decided to do some of their "sawing" inside of our garage and house and blew saw dust everywhere. Then they moved outside and the entire back siding of our house and windows was covered with dust. We had to clean this off our house ourselves. We also had to have our air ducts cleaned after that, and I did ask the company to at least reimburse us for half the cost after I had the vent company take images showing sawdust in the heat ducts. We were breathing in sawdust after these floors were put in, and we finally got to the point where we just gave up with this company and realized we were just gonna be stuck with the worst workmanship and company manners ever. Maybe we'll save up enough money in another 10 years to have the floors redone? If you have questions, feel free to message me! :) I have dozens more photos and videos. I would like to save someone their bank account and stress....

Carpet Liquidators

I am very conservative with handing out 5 Star reviews, but when they are earned like this one is,…read moreI want everyone to know about it. My wife and I just bought our first house. It's exciting! In this process of trying to get the house to where we want it I made the mistake of hiring a private contractor to do our lower level laminate planks. It was my first mistake because I spent double what I should have. After whining on Facebook, multiple people recommended Carpet Liquidators for the carpeting on our entire 2nd level. So I called them. I had the opportunity to deal with Mike V, who is the GM of all the stores. He put me in touch with Jason out of Tacoma. Jason immediately scheduled for my home to get measured. This is highly important because unlike other stores, the installer is the one who actually comes out to measure. In our case, Paul came out to measure and sent the measurements in to Jason. My wife and I then went in to choose our carpet and we met with John, who was incredibly knowledgeable and actually matched us with a carpet that he felt would be more than sufficient for our highly trafficked areas. A quote was then sent to us the next morning via email and all of the charges were listed. Everything was spelled out in black ink and there were no hidden or questionable fees. Fast forward a few days, I pulled up to our new home on my lunch break to check on Paul and his progress. He had already pulled up the old carpet and padding. He had them perfectly rolled up and laying in front of our garage for removal. He was not present as he was on his lunch break too. Our pink padding (amazingly luxurious) was already installed and I was able to see just how much of a perfectionist Paul was with his work. Everything was perfectly cut and prepped for carpet. The benefit of Paul having measured is that the carpet was already cut to the room size and rolled up/placed in each room. I left Paul a note thanking him for his hard work and asked him to keep the doors off the hinges as I would be painting them in a few days. I also asked him to leave any left over carpet so I could cover the stairs in my garage. I locked up and left. I stopped in the next morning before work and was amazed at how beautiful our carpet looked. Everything was perfectly installed and he even fixed a few steps on our stairs that were slightly loose that I forgot to address before install. He had vacuumed the floors so they had perfect lines. There were no tools left behind and there was no trash. He left the doors off the hinges as requested and he left a few small rolls of carpet perfectly stacked for me. I truly am impressed with Carpet Liquidators and ask you all to give them a chance. Based on our experience we will be recommending them to everyone we know that needs their services. I believe that people get sucked in to the insane deals posted all over the internet and websites that they feel everything should be free, yet done to their specifications. You get what you pay for. Carpet and padding is everything as it's your house we are talking about. It's what we live on (literally). I feel we got a great deal and feel you will too. Just relax a little and allow the carpet specialists to do what they do best. If you are worried about something like baseboards being too low or too high, mention it to them so there are no surprise costs. How will they know your concerns if you don't speak up? If you don't know what to ask, tell them you're totally new and just want to ensure everything is done right and you need their opinion. -Signed a very happy customer for life
