I had a fire in my home and the local fire chief recommended them for the cleaning of my soft items. the insurance company paid over $13k to them and they requested we pay them an additional $6800 out of pocket. when we came to an agreement they returned some stuff but NONE of my husband and sons sneakers! NONE! They just replied they didn't know where they were and if we don't accept what they had given us they would back out of the agreement and still take us to court for the full $6800!!! How can we possibly still owe $6800 when you're not even returning all of our belongings. they're thieves! read more

Owner flips customers off. horrible horrible horrible. Insurance scammers. Will clean out your whole house for inflated insurance pay and then the rest of your claim won't get processed. I found Hills Cleaners on google and decided to give them a call. I was contacted by Anna and she requested that I come to her home and get my wedding dress altered and I am so glad I did. Anna literally got on her hands and knees to make sure my wedding dress was altered correctly. She listened to all of my requests, gave suggestions and made me feel completely comfortable. She was very fast with my first alteration. When I came in to try the dress on again, the dress still needed some alterations. Anna was very quick and was able to get my dress re-altered in about two weeks. My wedding dress fit exactly how I wanted it to. I would definitely recommend Anna as she is quick and knows exactly what needs to be done! read more

DO NOT GET YOUR DRESS SHOES REPAIRED HERE. See both pictures attached. My dress shoes were originally a yellow brown, I then needed new soles so i figured i'll get them dyed as well. Hills Cleaners was supposed to make my shoes a solid dark brown. As you can see after the poor job my shoes are beat to shit. I just got them dyed last month also. They are Mercanti Fiorentini a pretty great dress shoes brand all around so thanks to Hills my shoes are ruined. read more

I would go negative on stars - lucky you have to click one to post! Negative 10plus! They were recommended by a claim adjuster and they took all of my "soft" items that had smoke damage. They didn't count anything in - it had the nerve when I questioned missing items to refer back to paperwork? Really bs - I feel like I was robbed and I wouldn't let them clean a baby diaper! I had to manually replace my expensive item and I'm sure it's more missing - but they have "item" list of returns not what they took which is still insane because anyone who has been to a cleaner's knows they count in the amount of items- so it arbitrary number coming back and want me to account for- which is bs since it wasn't counted in. read more

They do fast and high-quality work, and on the rare occasion that they don't get a spot out (I'm pretty awesome at spilling horrible things on my dress clothes), they either run it through again & get it out, or even hand-clean it right then (!) read more

If I could give a zero I would. Would never go there again. It took a 11 days to sew a leather strap. First time totally done wrong, can't even imagine what they were thinking when they did it. So I left it there for them to do correctly and asked How long will it take. The person at the shop, did not know but said they would get back to me. Needless to say after waiting and calling, Lisa finally returned my call 4 days later and I told her to forget it, I will be by to pick it up and don't have the strap adjusted. When I got there, not only was it adjusted they charged me for it, when I told them the previous day to forget it. I paid and left and will never recommend them to anyone. If I could give negative stars, I would. I had a lot of things cleaned after smoke damage. They lost a considerable amount of my belongings. Upon inquiry, I was told it was probably the fault of the intellectually disabled people working there. I tried repeatedly to get my items with no avail. They stopped responding to me and did not respond to BBB inquiries either. My mother became ill and I had to prioritize my time so I eventually gave up. I suspect that was their expectation. It still bothers me though and I think people should know to be wary of their service. You are a taking a chance with these people. read more

I used Hill Cleaners in Warrington a few times and was always satisfied until I took my king sized comforter to them to be dry cleaned. I picked it up and paid for the services. When I got home, I discovered that it had not been cleaned at all. It still had every stain on it and it was not clean smelling. We took it back and when we picked it up the second time, it was the same story. They said that they had cleaned it. No they did not. It should have been clean and it should have smelled clean. So I paid to have it cleaned and it clearly was not touched. I will NEVER use their services again. If I could give their rating a zero, I would but the rating scale does not go that low. I think it would also behoove this business to read these comments as I can see that I am not the only one disappointed. Word of mouth can make or break a company. Stay far away from this establishment. I dropped off my wedding gown to be cleaned. I was told it would be two (three at most) weeks and a call would come when it was ready. When a call was never received and more time had passed, we called to check on the status. At that time, an employee told me they could not find my wedding gown and would have management call me. Anna Marie Hill (owner) called me to tell me the gown could not be cleaned by their business and therefore she sent it elsewhere mind your without my permission. I asked why we hadn't been called and she gave a fake account of having the wrong number yet had no issue calling us on the correct phone for the call. We asked for the number for where the gown was and we were given a fake business and phone number that didn't even exist nor did it have a working number. We told her we wanted our gown back to which she kept staring it takes time and we needed to be mote patient. We told her it needed to be returned immediately as they had already not returned it in the timeframe states nor had they given us a call for permission to send elsewhere. We finally picked up the gown days later that had not been touched in over five weeks. It actually came back to us with more issues and stains. Very disappointed and livid. Stay away and safe yourself from this disaster of a place. They are an awful run business with poor customer service and lack of respect for customer needs. read more

I tried for 9 months to like Hills. The high school counter girls are fun, friendly and pleasant. However, at the end of the day it is about quality. While their price is good, the workman ship is not. Shirts never seem clean, the fabric looks dull. Pressing is not crisp, even when ordering heavy starch. The collars and cuffs lack the crispness expected with a laundered shirt. The sides of my shirts (3 to 4 inches from the side seams) was never pressed (I wear 48 to 50 inch chest shirts or L/XL). Plus, on a number of occasions simple food stains were set-in versus removed. Finally, the place is a mess! Cloths, blankets, rugs stacked in piles both inside and outside the side and back doors. Twice on windy days I told them that cloths were blowing across the driveway that goes around the building. Open 7 days a week and priced well, BUT the value and quality are not there. Which is a shame as they have a great location. read more

I've learned to only go to Hills when I absolutely need to. Three times now, I've gone to pick up my item(s) and something was missing! The scenario repeats itself: there is a frantic search by well-meaning people, lots of confusion and running around. The staff are clearly frustrated at the broken system. Finally they contact the manager who adds to the confusion- loudly interrupting conversations with other customers and just adding to the fray. Somehow she usually manages to give me some sort of lecture on the finer points of dry cleaning or alterations....meanwhile, they still can't find my item. I've been told to return (sometimes even more than once). I've been fortunate so far that each time my item was finally found, and I think I'm tempting fate to try going back. read more

After first misplacing my wife's dress they finally found it and they had ruined it and blamed the manufacturer. Will never go there or recommend going there. Spent an average of $100 a month there. They stained one of my white shirt front, back and on the collar. Owner Ann Marie said she would replace it. Month later nothing. Went there to see what's going on, even though Ann Marie was there she did not have the courtesy to come and talk to me. Instead had one of the young lady in the front give me my shirt back and said she won't do anything. If there was a zero or negative rating that's what I would give them. read more

We thought this would be the perfect dry cleaner for us since they have a drive thru...turns out they're very unorganized and not very good at what they do. Our clothing went missing on more than a few occasions. They also were very sloppy with pressing the clothing with out huge creases. Also, several buttons either went missing or were broken on my husband's shirts. If you absolutely need a drive thru, I'd look for a different one. read more

Hill's cleaners took all my belongings after a disaster in my home. During this difficult time for my family I asked for specific items for my children to be returned multiple times yet they were not delivered. I was in touch weekly with the staff and each time was given incorrect items. My young (fast growing) children grew out of their shoes and some clothing during this process. I was extremely disappointed during this process and am still not sure all my things were returned yet don't want to deal with them again. Customer service at its worst!!! first they argued with me about accepting competitor's coupons when the sign on the wall clearly says "Competitor's coupons accepted up to $5.00". To add insult to injury, when I got home, I discovered that aside from my four shits, that my wife's slacks were missing. I returned and they first said that they must have given them to me because there were 5 tickets attached to the slip. The owner of this cleaner is the best, ever. She truly knows her business and how to care for special fabrics. Case in point: my daughter had purchased her wedding gown in another state, and we had it pressed by a cleaner in Doylestown who "specialized" in wedding gowns. It was a Sunday afternoon wedding, so by the time we ran errands and got home to look at the gown we had picked up, it was after 330pm...horrible....it had a ruffle around the neckline that had not been touched, and the train was wrinkled and didn't lay flat. Oh, and did I mention that I paid $80 for them to do nothing! Called the place and they were already closed and not open Sun. Desperate, I called Hill's because a friend had recommended them. The girl at the counter told me everyone had gone for the day and although they are open in Sundays, it's just for pickup (no one actually cleaning or pressing). However, she did offer to have the owner call me back. The owner did...she had just gotten home from the place but offered to COME BACK to the facility to look at the dress and see what she could do. By the time she got back, the place was officially closed; she had to turn the equipment back on and wait 30 min for it to get to temp. She laid a sheet on the floor and spent an hour, pressing every wrinkle out of the dress and making the ruffle stand up beautifully. She even cleaned a little spot of makeup off the neckline gotten from trying it on!. My daughter had to leave for the rehearsal dinner without me and I was an hour late, but at least I knew her dress would be ready for the next day. Let me also say that I was not a prior customer of Hill's, and the owner did not know me at all....she just was sympathetic to a hysterical mother of the bride.
