It looks like everything was carelessly put back together without any attention to detail. -The backs of the jeans are uneven and it's very noticeable when wearing -They used mismatched thread that doesn't blend with the original jeans. -It looks like the blue jeans were just cut apart and sewn back together crookedly. -On my black jeans, one pant leg is higher than the other for some reason and the entire pair is twisted to the right, making them very awkward to wear. One pocket is even higher than the other!!! Like this is crazy! Why would you do work like this and give it back to the customer and think that is acceptable???? Both pairs are uneven and poorly done. When I went back to tell them, all they said was, "They're jeans, that's all we could do." They didn't offer me a refund or even offer to fix it. I would rather them tell me BEFORE they did the job what it would look like OR that they couldn't do it. I later went to a professional seamstress/ alterations specialist to see if at least the blue jeans could be fixed and she confirmed that the alterations were done terribly. She explained that they didn't need to cut the jeans down the middle at all and they should have just adjusted the waist. She also pointed out that the sewing was crooked and the thread didn't match (which you can notice in the images.) The seamstress even showed me a pair of jeans that she altered how jeans are SUPPOSED to correctly be taken in at the waist. I am extremely upset and disappointed that I wasted my money here and ended up with TWO ruined, good-quality pairs of jeans. Do not trust this place with your clothing. DO NOT go here if you need any serious alterations. If you want your clothing handled with care, PLEASE take it to a real specialist so that you are not taking any chances.

Then came the realization that I do not have the time, energy or stamina to sit at the laundromat while I wash clothes for 2 clotheshorse adults, linens, etc. And so, wash and fold was discovered. I had an absolutely stellar experience with dropping off my laundry. I dropped it off before work on morning -the woman who took it in was super nice, very efficient. Only took a couple of minutes. She asked if I had any stains she should look for; I asked her to wash the darks separately because of denim dye. I went back two days later, gave the nice woman $39 for 31lbs of laundry and... WOW. Everything was clean, smelled lovely, folded perfectly. She even separated our laundry into his-and-hers...and my jeans were organized by brand. The only downside is that the drop off/pick up days aren't ideal: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday (I think) from 7am-11am. They can do them same day, too. But that's a minor, minor inconvenience. I don't think I can afford wash and fold all the time, but for the days/weeks when you have run out of all your clean clothes (like buying new ones instead of going naked) - this is well worth it.

Unfortunately, even though it is right around the corner, Royal isn't filling that need. Was there 2 times. Its basically clean, for a laundromat I guess. All I needed was a washer, and was able to get in & out quickly enough the first time. The second time I went was tonight (a Tuesday), and never made it in because I showed up around 7:00PM and was told last wash needs to be in at 6, they were closing! I was more than surprised at this, but this does not fit my schedule so I will not be back. I did notice that they do have drop off service (not what I need). Also noticed that they have signs posted that the dryers are only for wash customers, so if your dryer is on the fritz, this may not be the place for you. If you are around in the morning or afternoon, then Royal may work for you.

There are generally machines open, the place is clean, there's a TV to watch, and they're open seven days a week. I just wish they would accept credit card, but other then that, this place is perfect.
