Even when I've had garments made from delicate or tricky fabrics. I may not have visited the main location myself, but knowing that my items are altered here gives me total confidence. I was told my dresses would be ready after 12:00 p.m. on July 3 and that the store would likely be closing by 3:00 p.m., so I should come sometime after noon. When I arrived shortly before 12:00 p.m. on July 3, the store was completely closed. There was a sign on the door stating they would be closed that day. Unfortunately, a sign on the door did not help because I had already been told in person that the store would be open, and I had planned around that information. As a result, I was unable to wear either dress for the events I needed them for. When I returned to pick up my clothes, I calmly explained why I was frustrated. Instead of acknowledging that I had been given incorrect information, the owner told me they decided not to open because it was too hot to come in and that customers had been notified by placing a sign on the door. I explained that a sign on the door was not an adequate way to notify someone who had already been told to come between noon and 3:00 p.m. to pick up clothing needed for holiday events. I asked whether a discount could be offered because of the inconvenience, but she refused. When I said I would not be returning and would share my experience in a review, the owner responded that she "didn't want my business anyway" and then told me to leave the store. In my experience, the prices are higher than other local dry cleaners, and I have not found the quality of the cleaning to justify the cost. After this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I have had much better service, pricing, and overall quality at Fairway Cleaners in Dresher. Mistakes happen, and I understand that plans can change. What was most disappointing was not the closure itself, but the complete lack of accountability, empathy, or customer service afterward. A sincere apology would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome.

Dry cleaning is decent but nothing above mediocre. The alterations are an absolute nightmare!! I cannot warn you enough to save yourself time and energy please don't use their services. Long story short- took two dresses to be altered. One needed the straps taken up and the other needed the hem taken up. When I dropped off I asked if it could be done by a specific time and they promised it would. Well what do you know, right as I am on my way to pick up they call and say they left the dress at "home". Seriously? I told them I needed it that day for a wedding. So I wait the extra couple of hours and go get my dresses. First dress that they took the straps off they totally butchered and made if WAY too short and it was not done as we measured, they also took a short cut and cut the straps instead of the normal tuck under so the dress is ruined. This beautiful dress can no longer be worn. Second dress, which cost me a lot to TAKE THE HEM up was a shotty job- rips frays and all. Take a look at the pictures and tell me you think this is a decent quality hem. Seriously cannot believe I trusted them with this simple job. I could have done a better job. Worse part of the whole experience was the owners nwphew who was the only one working told me there was nothing they can do. He didn't even look like he cared. It was unbelievable how bad the customer service was and how they didn't care. The owner didn't care either. Moral or the story is that dry cleaning here is a maybe at best but DO NOT have alteration done here unless you want your clothes butchered!

Dropped off a full, fully enclosing mattress layer for a Sleep on Latex mattress. I needed it back…read moreby a certain day b/c I had hired someone to help put it back on. The mattress weighs 100 lbs. and the layer/mattress "wrap" is an integral part of the mattress. It's not a "mattress cover." First, they said "we'll call you" which they did not. I couldn't get anyone on the phone, so showed up. "Oh!" she said, and handed me a plastic linen bag with what appeared to be it. I got home and the worker I'd hired showed up. We removed it from the bag. The entire bottom of it was missing. They'd separated/fully unzipped it and failed to return the bottom piece. So here I'd hired this guy and we could not put back this $150 cover. I tried calling Custom FDC. I left a message. No one ever called me back. I had to order a new one from the manufacturer. The mattress's warranty is void if you do not have that piece on the mattress, all the way around. I tried calling, again. I drove down there, again. "Oh!!" She runs in the back and comes back with the missing piece. So...they'd figured it out but couldn't be bothered trying to contact me? I explained how I'd needed that piece to put the bed/mattress together and this had cost me quite a bit of money and would be costing me quite a bit more. Hundreds more. She just laughed nervously, handed me a $20. I said she was being penny-wise, pound-foolish, but I don't think that got through. Very disappointing experience.
