I love the taste of the chocolate milk but it does give me a stomach ache every time I drink it.

I was very excited to see organic chocolate milk from pasture cows at my local Wegmans, but man is this stuff salty! Will not buy again.

Shtayburne Farm - Our 12 cheese and ice cream flight

Such a fun experience!…read more So many fun flavors of icecream and different cheeses! Not to mention the adorable cows!! We tried the flight of 8-- 5 icecreams and 3 cheeses. For icecream we tasted the purple cow, peach cobbler, cookies and cream, black cherry chocolate, and the coffee heath crunch. My favorite was the coffee flavor- unlike other coffee icecreams I've had, this coffee had a much more robust and richer flavor profile. I liked cookies and cram-- always a classic. The cherry flavor was a tad too artificial for my liking. Purple cow was fine- very similar to the Cornell Dairy flavor- both are good though! I liked the peach cobbler flavor though wish there were more of the mix-ins. For cheeses, we tasted the butter garlic cheddar curds, the signature Summit Cheddar, and the plain quark. The garlic cheddar curds were so good, I took a bag home with me! Summit cheddar had a nice nutty flavor, not too 'sharp' though. The quark was interesting... it had a rather mild flavor and interesting texture (similar to boursin). I didn't love it, but I didn't hate it. I also took home a bag of the tomato basil cheese curds which I didn't like as much as the garlic ones. The tomato ones had a very subtle flavor-- too subtle. There was a line when we got there though it moves relatively quickly and is definitely worth the wait! Overall, I had so much fun picking out so many icecreams and cheeses to taste as well as seeing the cows! I would highly recommend Shtayburne Farm!

A fourth generation dairy farm that excels in cheese and ice cream. We tried the 8 flight. 4 cheeses 4 ice creams. All were delicious. I tried the peach habernero Quark and immediately needed to buy one in the case. Its a super protein and so creamy. I can't wait to pair it with celery sticks for a nice snack. They offer a few coffee drinks as well. I ordered a caramel Americano. Next time I am in the area I will definitely come by again!

The parking lot is often full, so I'd looked forward to stopping in. The ordering set-up wasn't so different from their original store. A selection of around 6-8 different savory and sweet hand pies are in a glass case on the counter. There are vegan, gluten-free, etc. options, which is great. There's a fresh locally-sourced salad in a small clamshell that you can add, as well as cold bottled drinks. You order your pies and café beverages and take a seat. The pies are not reheated, they go right from the case to your plate, somewhat disappointing. The dining room is half restaurant half lounge, a bit chaotic but cozy. The pies are good, but not generous. Sweet ones are around $5 and the savory are between $6-7, almost $8 each for some. As a result of the cost, we only got three of them for the two of us. They are on the smaller side..Our shared salad was really good, but I hated the plastic clamshell aspect of it, the plastic waste. The café drinks were good, a chai and a latte. Overall, we left feeling disappointed that we had spent $48 including tip on food that we ate in 10 minutes and that left us still hungry. I had hoped that they would have "hand pie combo-plates" with, say, two-three pies, a side and maybe a salad. That would've been filling. The simple ingredients and the (likely) advanced preparation involved in making hand pies with inexpensive ingredients makes the high cost and the small selection and serving size hard to understand. I guess my plan for next time is to focus on the café drinks and cozy vibes and not to go in hungry.

Before ordering, I took a few moments to explore the market, and I absolutely loved the items items that I came across. Fresh imported cheese, olives, jams, sauces, pastas, and so much more. This market is truly a "foodies paradise." I finally made my way to the counter where I placed my order. I was greeted by the owners, who were both extremely kind. I ordered The Catherine, and my daughter chose a fresh salad which was loaded with veggies, fruit & I gorgonzola cheese. The Catherine was such a simple sandwich but absolutely delicious!!! The fresh baked bread they serve their sandwiches on is AMAZING! It had been a while since I last visited Thanos, but I can assure you I will never stay away this long again. Phenomenal!!!!

We walked in at 5pm on a Tuesday and had our choice of tables. We picked a small table next to the wall to be further away from the chill of the door opening. We were greated immediately by the sweet bartender who was also taling care of the tables at that point. At the table there was a carafe of water and glasses. I can't tell you how much I appreciate when restaurants do this. I drink a lot of water and it's nice to have it available. The ambiance of the room was nice. Candle on the table, string lights throughout, and local artwork on the walls that feature a new collection each month. Our server/bartender got our drink order right away. I had a glass of wine and my friend ordered one of their cocktails that she said was amazing. For the dining week special we each got an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $30. Appetizers Goat Cheese with Roasted Beets. Overall delicious. The goat cheese was very overpowering though so it may benefit from more beets, maybe an addition of a beet sauce, and or some sort of cracker or pita. Cheese Tasting Plate. Delicious. Could use more that 3 crackers. Best bleu cheese I've ever had. It literally just melted in your mouth. The jam that came on the plate was fantastic and unusual. Some sort of bacon jam that was really smoky. My friend liked it so much she tracked it down next door in Epicuse to purchase it. Entree We both ordered the Chicken and Jambalaya. I'm not a person who ever orders chicken but I really wanted the jambalaya. Lol. Both were fantastic. I do not like Chicken with skin usually but the skin was so fantastically crispy, the chicken was tender, and that jambalaya was amazing. Perfect amount of heat and so much flavor. Dessert They served us the Dessert Flight and it was stunning. Cannoli, Tirimisu, and Chocolate Pot de Crème. It was fantastic and the perfect ending to a great meal. Throughout the entire meal many staff checked on us. The service was outstanding. As we were finishing it was definitely filling up for their Tuesday Trivia night which starts at 7. Before leaving be sure and check out Epicuse, the attached store, for many local foods and treats as well as an assortment of wine and liquor. They also have heat and go meals available for purchase.
