The tech called and said it would be $850 plus $95 service fee so I called a friend who owns a company 150 miles away and said what should this cost to have my unit cleaned . He said $99-$175! ‍ So I put on Facebook any recommendations and got a one man show company that came and cleaned for $99 and no service charge fee. ‍‍‍ I do have to say when I called SOS to cancel my appointment to repair they waived the service charge fee after looking at my scenario so the company does have some good employees.

My daughter and I purchased a home a little over a year ago and only have about 7 months left of a warranty for parts on our furnace. The furnace is only 4 years old, however we are not the original owners who had the home built in 2022 which is why the warranty is almost over. Our furnace started making a horrible noise and then all of a sudden it stopped. We called another company to come out and look at it. They told us that the blower motor cage had cracked due to faulty manufacturing and the blower motor basically fell off and broke. After getting a list of authorized service/warranty providers from the manufacturer, we called CTR heating and air. They worked with us and the manufacturer to try to process a claim on the warranty but it was a nightmare! We were getting no help from the manufacturer and we were stuck. We finally got it resolved, after about 2.5 weeks, and ended up having to go through the initial installer when the home was built. Here is where the review gets good! Even though we actually didn't end up going through CTR, their constant communication, repeated attempts to resolve with the manufacturer and their daily updates/ communication with me was outstanding! Never once did I have to reach out to them for an update. They always contacted me first! When we communicated, it was always extremely professional and very customer service centered. They provided much needed recommendations for the future and were very patient with us and the situation, and never got frustrated even though it was taking so long. Even after all the work they put in for us, when we advised them that we were going to have to go through the original installer, they STILL remained professional and wished us well, hoping that everything would work out on our favor! What an amazing and incredible company! I'm only allowed to give 5 stars, but if I could, I would absolutely give them at 10! Would 100% recommend CTR as they are friendly, helpful, professional, and honest!!

I was getting a constant error code and could not resolve it following the manual. When Randy arrived, I detailed all that I had done to that point. We ran uninterrupted hot water for 30 minutes with no fail (error code). I said maybe it settled down and asked Randy what my charge was for his coming over. He said "You did everything I would have to fix it, so no service charge"! Unbelievable! A week later, the error code was back (and no reliable hot water). Randy came out again, checked everything on the units intake/exhaust system and found no reason for the error code. He dug in further and found a dip switch that was not set up correctly by the original installer. He spent 90 minutes working on the unit, ran a test with all faucets running hot water at the same time, and it worked perfectly. This time, I ask what I owed for his professional service and he said "our regular service call fee . . . $75.00". Every other company in Salt Lake would have charged that (or more) as their portal-to-portal hourly fee! Everyone at Brozwood was smart, efficient, professional, and really made me feel like their only customer. I'll call them again for and HVAC/Plumbing issues in the future and I'll recommend them to anyone that asks for a help with their home.

Once he caught up to me, he decided he was going to tailgate me. After he was tailgating me for a minute, I decided to slow down.
