Please read the entire review! I know this is a long review, however this was an unusual situation…read morethat needs a little background. My daughter and I purchased a home a little over a year ago and only have about 7 months left of a warranty for parts on our furnace. The furnace is only 4 years old, however we are not the original owners who had the home built in 2022 which is why the warranty is almost over. Our furnace started making a horrible noise and then all of a sudden it stopped. We called another company to come out and look at it. They told us that the blower motor cage had cracked due to faulty manufacturing and the blower motor basically fell off and broke. After getting a list of authorized service/warranty providers from the manufacturer, we called CTR heating and air. They worked with us and the manufacturer to try to process a claim on the warranty but it was a nightmare! We were getting no help from the manufacturer and we were stuck. We finally got it resolved, after about 2.5 weeks, and ended up having to go through the initial installer when the home was built. Here is where the review gets good! Even though we actually didn't end up going through CTR, their constant communication, repeated attempts to resolve with the manufacturer and their daily updates/ communication with me was outstanding! Never once did I have to reach out to them for an update. They always contacted me first! When we communicated, it was always extremely professional and very customer service centered. They provided much needed recommendations for the future and were very patient with us and the situation, and never got frustrated even though it was taking so long. Even after all the work they put in for us, when we advised them that we were going to have to go through the original installer, they STILL remained professional and wished us well, hoping that everything would work out on our favor! What an amazing and incredible company! I'm only allowed to give 5 stars, but if I could, I would absolutely give them at 10! Would 100% recommend CTR as they are friendly, helpful, professional, and honest!!

He asked that I take a picture of it and text it to him which I did, so the plumber would have a better idea when he came out. Plumber was friendly and able to describe what the issue was and what the repair would look like, including a worst-case scenario. Luckily, the repair went smoothly and he was done in a couple hours including a trip for parts. Price for the part was reasonable and the labor was about what I expected, around $70/hour

Last week when the temperatures reached into the 80's again we discovered the AC only blows warm air. Upon trying to help my neighbor, I called Larsen and received a condescending attitude and a person who refused to listen. When I simply asked if an appointment could be scheduled for a warranty visit I was informed that they wanted nothing more to do with this and to get another HVAC company. The worst part is that Larsen showed no compassion, refused to listen, believe, nor stand behind their product! Simply taking advantage of their customer! Worst customer service after the sale ever!

He could have given my the typical response and said that he just needs to send someone out and charge me for it. Instead, he spent over twenty minutes talking to me about issues I have had and how to address it. Later, a friend of mine had his furnace fail in Lehi. My buddy had a kid at home. I don't live in Lehi and Western is in Orem but I called Western and asked if they could drive out there and help him out. Ryan personally answered my phone call and made sure my friend got taken care of. I have used multiple different contractors over the years but Western goes above and beyond. I know them well and would use anyone else for AC work in Utah.
