We love this brewery. Great beer in a cozy environment. Like on previous visits, my wife had two pints of the Mt. Royal Red Lager. I tasted the OMG Kilt Kenny stout, which I had liked previous times in, but it didn't wow me as much as the Night Skiing Milk Stout, so I stuck with two of those. Interestingly, two other beers we had liked a year or so ago, the Frisco Festbier and the Kingdom Kolsch, didn't impress us this time, so our choices were clear. I left feeling really uncomfortable by the lack of service from the blonde female bartender. She was noticeably warm and attentive to other tables but largely ignored my partner and I. Its hard not to wonder if homophobia played a role in how we were treated. maybe it didn't, but the difference in service was significant enough that it left a bad impression. everyone deserves to feel welcomed and treated with the same level of respect, and unfortunately that wasn't our experience. read more

Imagine a brewery. Imagine a brewery's off-site taproom. Imagine a brewery's off-site taproom with one bartender (motivated and moving quickly, but perhaps less help than might be needed when it gets busy - which it does). And then imagine a surprising set of beers that are all brewed by the namesake brewery off-site. The standout for me was the barleywine - you don't find them often these days, and this was quite a nice one. The ginger cider was also quite brilliant. The remainder were good, not great, but you cannot knock everything out of the park. The imperial stout had nice body and flavor, but there was just a touch of fusile alcohol in it that was minimally offputting. I drank them all, appreciated the time and space, and was glad I stopped in. It can be a bit loud, so be aware if you have sensitive ears or are trying to have a conversation with more than 3 people. read more

Excellent selection of beers. I really enjoyed the West Coast IPA. They had a really good imperial stout as well as a latte stout infused with coffee that was delicious. They are kid-friendly, have a stash of board games, and allow outside snacks/food. The bartender was helpful and knowledgeable about the beers. We stopped by here on a snowy day and really enjoyed ourselves. They also have a nice outdoor patio which would have been nice if the weather permitted. read more

We stumbled upon this place after taking the free gondola ride, which was amazing. Honestly, probably the best beers we had in Colorado. The beers were so crisp and clean we went back the next day. Service A+. My wife enjoys a hazy and I enjoy a West Coast. They had something for everyone so we were very happy. The bartenders also pointed us in the right direction for things to see while we were in Breckenridge. I would travel back to the area just for their beers. read more
