Their website says "upscale comfort food" and that is the honest truth. So many places off the beaten path just have burgers and hot dogs...and they do have burgers here but they are waaaaayy more than the concessions type at other roadside stops. But why get a burger when they have goat cheese fritters and ribeye in a red wine and mushroom sauce!?! They even have a salmon dish. This place is a must visit on so many levels: The unbelievable views, food, & friendly and good service. On a Saturday they even have live music! It is part of the lodge so you'll be looking for a bigger place than expected. They do take a break between lunch and dinner so the hours posted are alittle misleading. If you are visiting Breck make the short drive out of town to enjoy!

Great view and friendly staff. We enjoyed drinks, salad and some REALLY good pizza here. 'Wish the place was open more often in the week... check the schedule, it's worth a try.

What a gem of a place! The atmosphere is wonderful. The patio view is spectacular. They re-opened last night under new management and with a very "eager to please" new staff. Food and drink were excellent. The crowd was genuinely happy to be there as there were smiles all around. Don't miss out- stop by and say hello to Chad, Jake, Zach and Jane. You won't be disappointed! Oh, and family friendly!

This is a very comfortable setting with beautiful Mountain View's. The restaurant does not have a lot of seating, but it worked for us. The ambiance is great and we loved the huge stone fireplace as the centerpiece (nothing like the smell of a wood burning fire). The service was great even with the place being packed. There is an excellent beer, wine, and mixed drinks selection. We had the pictured items - meatloaf and burger and our daughter had the Mac and cheese. So, I have to say, the chef is cooking with love. The meatloaf was fantastic. Several types of wild game, seasoning and I believe some carrot and onion. The mashed potatoes were so good, I wanted more. Lastly the vegetables were fresh, seasoned well, all around the dish was perfect like I was eating a home cooked meal. The hamburgers, well, who can complain about a hamburger and this is no exception. The burger was executed perfectly, very flavorful, juicy as can be, and best of all cooked exactly how we ordered it. It is rough to find a good mid-rare cook on a burger. Lastly, my daughter's meal was perfect for her. She had a lot of Mac and cheese and a lot of fruit. She liked it and that works for us. Overall, great experience. Not fancy food but like I said, I felt like I was eating a fantastic home cooked meal!

Tomato bisque. Really good!

Came here twice for dinner and drinks during my stay in Breckenridge. It had the best patio and view out of all of the places I dined at. Great happy hour, and the drinks were always very well done. The inconsistent food quality is the reason I'm not giving 5 stars. Cheddar curds - perfectly cooked and delicious, with really good marinara and ranch Tomato bisque - also delicious Fried pickles - great breading but the pickles were sliced too thick Burgers - all over cooked. Fries were good Myla's mac and cheese - just ok. Needed to have more sauce/creaminess as it was on the dry side. The smoked pork that I added was good and went well with the mac Kyle's chicken and waffle - extremely overcooked dry chicken, but the waffle and syrup were tasty. If they put a bit more effort into the food then this would definitely be a 5 star joint.

The BEST Bloody Mary I have ever had.

If you're looking for a good brunch spot in Breckenridge, this is the place to go. Their brunch specials are on the weekend from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. This place is about ten minutes outside town, but it's worth the drive! We came here for our anniversary brunch and were not disappointed. The Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had, and the food was delicious and filling. And, you cannot beat the view of Quandary Peak from the deck. We'll definitely be back here next time we're in Breck.

One of Summit County's newest gems! Where to start, the view from the patio and bar is spectacular. They have a great happy hour. The food is awesome, they have this habanero bacon... omg amazing. The decor inside is really cute and the food is great. I highly recommend the poutine (happy hour) and the BLT. I am so glad that there is a restaurant in Blue River now!

Walked in on a Sunday night without reservation and they were able to seat us right away inside close to tvs to watch hockey.. still great views inside too. Service was great, was able to get 2 beers and an app on happy hour. Food was delicious. We enjoyed our time and will be back when we are in the area. Thanks

The food is fantastic! Great change of pace from going into downtown Breck. Great views, cool atmosphere, great patio.

The BEST FOOD WE HAD IN COLORADO! This place deserves a noble-peace prize! It's a MUST GO! After eating there we thought, "Breckenridge who?!" The scenery is hands down THE BEST IN the High country. The weather is perfection and if it's not, they have the coziest fur blankets and multiple fireplaces on the inside to snuggle up too. The steak was orgasmic for the both of us. For me because of the taste and blue cheese, the wife's a vegan but was also for her later due to the additional energy I had. The cheese curds were better than what you can find in Wisconsin. The salad was Food Network Magazine worthy. And the brownie dessert tasted like Dark Chocolate NIRVANA! You MUST FORGET all you know about Breck, make the stunning scenic driver, and enjoy a top dining experience. Then come back and add me on here, hit Funny and let's be friends! This place ROCKS MY 's!

Best and most exquisite restaurant experience EVER!…read more Ember in Breckenridge was the absolute perfect place to spend Christmas Eve with my brother and dad. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, festive, and welcoming exactly what you'd hope for on a special holiday night. We did the three-course dinner, and every single dish was outstanding. I started with the duck breast appetizer, which was amazing! Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. For my entrée, I had the lobster, and it was incredible. So tender, rich, and cooked to perfection in a butter bath. To finish, the key lime pie was killer! Our lovely server Val was the star of the night with his attentiveness and gave us some great recommendations! Ember delivered an unforgettable dining experience, and it made our Christmas Eve truly special. I can't recommend this place enough and will absolutely be back soon.

No experience in selling wine or any understanding of how to navigate a dining experience. The server ended the night by bragging of how much money he made annually, $100,000, but obviously had no idea what a proper done experience should be. He pulled out a notepad to explain what was on the dish, every menu item was an expression of ADHD, there were probably 10 components on every dish and none of them tied together. I can't anticipate this place staying open, if it wasn't in a tourist town where you didn't rely on repeat customers it would've been closed a long time ago. Absolutely un sophisticated and overpriced. The ambience of the place matches the awkward experience presented on the plate. Save your money and go to a pub nearby.

We sat at the bar because we heard great things about the happy hour from the locals. 2 Food: We researched before coming to Breckenridge what place had the best burger and Aurum's French Onion Burger came up at the top of the list. It did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection (we like medium rare) and the sea salt french fries were delicious (no condiments needed for the burger or the fries)!! 3. Employees: The Hostess was friendly and got us seated right away. The Bartenders (Mike and George) made our evening a blast. Mike Ruda has a signature drink on the menu that he created called the Duck Fat Cadillac and it is a home run cocktail (10 out 10)!! George Johnson is a great conversationalist and is engaged with the customers. We showed him a twist to our favorite drink back home in San Antonio, the Carajillo and he made it perfectly! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Breckenridge and make sure you grab a seat at the bar and enjoy the conversations and the Duck Fat Cadillac!!

Now I recommend going early for happy hour or making reservations. We were heading out around 5:30pm and there was no seating available. For happy hour I had a glass of Rosé and lemon parmesan fries. The food, people, and ambiance were so amazing, we made dinner reservations for the whole fam. Luckily there was availability. That night we were sat promptly when we arrived and the table was set up with menus and water waiting for us. For appetizer, we started off with the Parker House rolls with the house honey butter and OMG those rolls are so fluffy and delicious. Highly suggest getting the rolls if you like bread. The butter complimented the bread beautifully. I started off the night with the blackberry smash with tequila and it was delicious. Just the right combo of sweetness. For entree we went with their Pasta Rotante which for the night was a crazy flavor combo of tomato, pumpkin seeds, crunchy carrot strings, sage and chicken sausage. I'm probably missing other ingredients, but it was a dance of flavors on the tongue. Our waiter recommended pairing this with a glass of Pinot Noir and it was the perfect compliment.

I stumbled…read moreinto this place expecting some decent fried chicken (which they DELIVERED, juicy and crispy perfection, 10/10), but what I didn't expect was to have my entire existence reordered by their *pickle fries*. Yes, you heard me right--PICKLE. FRIES. These aren't just fries with a pickle vibe; they're golden, crunchy miracles that taste like a dill-soaked fever dream. I took one bite and nearly proposed to the plate.   The chicken? Great. The vibes? Ski-town cozy with a side of "I could live here." But those pickle fries? They're the reason I'm writing this review instead of just weeping into my takeout bag. I told my server, "These are mind-blowing," and she just smirked like, "Yeah, we know, newbie." I'm pretty sure they lace them with witchcraft because I'm already plotting my next visit, and I live three states away.   If you don't order the pickle fries, you're basically insulting the chef, the fryer, and the entire concept of happiness. Go. Eat. Cry a little. Thank me later.

I was very happy with the product. This ain't no In-N-Out, and I know that. But what I was looking for was not a signature flavor of name brand like another Big Mac, but what I got was a delicious tasting and properly prepared (MED) mountain hamburger. The fries were also good. Everything was good, because there was nothing left after the three grandkids and all devoured every last fry. Even the thinly sliced cross-cut sweet potato fries get my "among the best I have had". The other mentioned things we ordered were the good potato soup and a grilled chicken sandwich of some sort. We are at a chicken shop after all. Do stop in and give the staff a fist bump (seemed to be popular). Dicks

The staff was incredibly friendly, delivering the kind of service that makes you want to stick around. In a resort town where prices reflect the view, we found a solid hack: the portions here are massive. We ordered the big platters and packed half to go for tomorrow's breakfast. I went with a protein-packed "Create Your Own" scramble loaded with chicken, avocado, spinach, tomatoes, onions, and green peppers. I had them smother it in their vegetarian green chili--10/10, no complaints. My son opted for the sausage, egg, and cheese burrito, which was literally as big as his head. They served a hot red salsa on the side that was delicious enough to be shared by everyone. My daughter's pancakes were plate-filling and perfectly fresh. We also did a family taste test with their house-brand bottled hot sauces on the breakfast potatoes. The Garlic Serrano was the clear winner for the morning. To wash it all down, the oat milk vanilla latte was perfect.
