I just brought my car home. Everything was perfect. My car was hit from behind and I used that person's insurance which is State Farm. Highline Auto Body was on their list and I selected them. I spoke with Louie who explained everything to me. They had to replace my bumper and said we will not know if there is additional damage until the bumper is off. He called me the next day and explained what was damaged, what he needed to order and a new date when the car will be ready. That allowed me the time to rent a car. State Farm was paying for everything. I got the call when my car will be ready. I returned my rental and my car looked perfect; just like buying a new car. We were recommended by my car expert ex to take my brother in law's car here to get the care it required. It had gotten dented and scratched while parked in a parking lot and when he got into a fight with the hydrant backing out of the driveway. I parked my car in a garage which unfortunately scratched up the paint and dented in a fender on my car. When the garage told me that I would have to get the work done at Highline, I was initially skeptical as I would have preferred the dealership and was sure that the garage was referring me to a cheap option who would do shoddy work. Fortunately that was not the case. The guys at Highline are absolutely top notch. The workmanship and paint were perfect and only took a few days to complete. Apart from the body work, I also had them put a UV filter on my windows and windshield and some light tinting on the rear windows. Everything was great. Fantastic communication from a high quality shop. While I hope I never do, I would absolutely go back to these guys if I needed body work. read more

I wish there was a separate section for the tinting. The body shop is top notch they get 5 stars they've always done right by me and my family. I never ever had a problem with them they do excellent work! The tint department on the other hand is horrible, they are not organized, they have kids that do the tints on your car and they dont know what they are doing and supposently Steve is one of the owners but hes never there. So that's a little strange to me the owners are supposed to be Andy and Steve but I think Andy is the owner and Steve is maybe a silent partner because any time you go to this place Steve is no where to be found. My wife called Steve a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment to have her new car tinted he tells her to come in Monday morning at 8:30 my wife goes there and no one knows that she has an appointment for tints and Steve as usual is nowhere to be found. If you want your car tinted don't use these guys they don't do a good job and they are unreliable!!!!!! Like I said I cant say a bad thing about the body shop they are great! I'm just curious to know if this guy Steve the little short guy is really the owner or does he just say that or is he a silent partner? Somethings a little fishy. read more

I went to Highline to have my side view mirror replaced after getting hit while my car was parked. Since I was replacing the side view mirror, I decided to also have them install a factory rear roof spoiler. I met with Arthur who was very approachable and handled everything correctly and professionally. I'm very attentive to details, and for a simple job as installing a rear spoiler, they made sure it lined up correctly. I am very happy with their quality of work and service. Came in because I lost control on the snow, bent my fender pretty badly and cracked my front bumper. I drove over and Arthur came out to assess my damage right away. He was not pushy and his prices were fair. He really works with you and makes you comfortable. After visiting 2-3 other body shops and having been quoted twice as much, I shook hands with Arthur and gave him my car. Let me just say that the color on my car is iridescent.. Meaning that it looks different in different lights... Meaning that it's nearly impossible to match. When I picked up my car a week later, I was floored. Not only did the paint match perfectly, not only did my badly bent fender look PERFECT, but my car looked like it just left the showroom. Worth every freaking penny. Bunch of scumbags at this place, billed insurance 6k for a new bumper cover and respray the hood, I went to pick it up and the bumper was covered in dimples and drips, didn't touch the hood, and they scratched my rims. Told me your Acura is old, what does it matter!! read more

Nice shop, decent work, but TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had a big job and the owner kept promising it would be ready (by the deadline HE made) only to find one excuse and delay after another. Once they have your car and the insurance money, you are left with them in control to complete the work at their leisure, neglecting the promises they initially made to you. I've recently gotten into fender bender on my BMW and had to decide among the many different body shops in Queens which one to bring my car too . I value not only quality, but convenience. I occasionally get my car hand washed at Highline detailing and recollected that Steve and Bruce told me months ago that the auto body business was going to open up soon. I decided to go straight to Steve and Bruce the day after the accident since I was so impressed by the quality of their tint work and hand wash. Another plus was that they close fairly late at around 6PM, so that was very convenient for me. I was greeted by Bruce upon arrival , who informed me that Arthur would take care of me. Arthur is a direct guy and didn't try to oversell me. He told me that he could fix the fender and get the corners replaced without a problem and that there was no need to buy a whole new fender. He asked to exchange cell phone numbers so that we can keep in touch if I had any questions during the next days while he had my car. There was a slight delay in getting the car back to me, but Arthur had told me that the day after I dropped it off. I assumed it was because he had a sudden influx of cars to take care of from the Mercedes shop a block away. I was nervous when I picked up the car, but it turned out perfect. I even asked Arthur if he would do me a favor and do a quick touch up on a part of the bumper that was not related to the accident. Arthur was happy to help and had his partner Steve assist. Steve was meticulous in touching up the bumper even though it was already 630 PM and getting late. In summary, I would definitely go here again to do any body work. If you normally get your car washed there and have taken time to speak to either Steve, Bruce or Arthur - you would know they care about the quality of their work - especially now that they are building up their auto body business. Before I had handed my keys to Arthur, he even told me that they are trying to be the King of the Hill of body shops in Queens and they would not disappoint. Considering their garage was full of Mercedes and BMWs, I gave them a shot and am definitely a satisfied customer. I also wanted to mention, they gave me a complimentary hand wash! read more

I took off from work early to go here for an estimate to have a couple new performance parts painted for my car. Once he saw that it was not a big job through an insurance company he kind of just blew me off. After sitting there and watching him walk in and out of a back room 15 times and say nothing to me I left. My money is the same green as everyone else.I guess they got it like that there.
