Who still does this in this modern age!?? I understand when this is done in super hole-in-the-wall restaurants where prices are kept very low. This is a well-established restaurant with normal prices! I paid $20 total for my meal. I thankfully read the reviews in advance and learned about the surprise "non-cash adjustment" fee, so I came prepared, but this was troubling. I liked the booth seating in the restaurant and the cozy vibes. The food was mixed. They gave us complimentary garlic bread, which was pretty good. I opted for the chicken fettuccine alfredo, and my friend got the linguine primavera, which is vegetarian. I added a "small salad" for $1 as it seemed appealing, but it was a big mistake. I described the salad to my friend as "gross" (not a word I like to write in reviews, but it so accurately describes my thoughts). It was an assortment of lettuce and some other unknown vegetables absolutely bathed in vinaigrette. Like, half the bowl was just vinaigrette soup. I did think the fettuccine alfredo was decent though, and the chicken was moist and soft. My friend said her pasta was fine. Neither of us finished our meals, even though the portion size didn't appear to be that large.

Love finding nice establishments like this in Temple! Easy…read moreaccess off W Adams with ample parking. I'd say this is a mix of casual, recreational fun with high end dining elements. Big building with spacious dining areas, outdoor space, and the pickleball courts of course. There's also an upstairs area that's exclusively for members. The interior and exterior design is exceptional. Very clean and pleasing to the eye. Welcome to All - not just pickleballers! High end liquors with experienced mixologists. Great cocktail list. Wine list was pretty short but had some good bottles on it. Brunch food was good. The breakfast croissant sandwich was hard to handle and fell apart but tasty. The Southern Poutine was hearty and comforting (sausage in lieu of cheese curds) The bartender was exceptional-knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive. Would love to see a broader wine list with greater range. Was disappointed they didn't have the fireplaces on especially since it's been so cold. A nice fireplace would have really elevated the experience by adding a cozy atmosphere. Also, they have a fruit fly problem.

About server was nice and attentive even though we were the only ones outside at first. That said, overall we were nickel and dimed for everything. It really felt like they just want money. If a 14 year old wants to order off the kids menu, they charge an extra $4, but it's not an adult portion, it's the same amount of food they just want you to pay more. It makes me not want to bring kids here. Also, if you're eating and the pickle ball courts are empty, there is no discount for playing pickle ball, and they make sure to tell you that you will be charged while you eat your meal. The courts are empty and they don't have any reservations for them, but they need their money. We were told they would provide paddles and balls, so we didn't get ours from the car, and then we were charged for them. I love eating at great restaurants, but when a restaurant nickels and dimes you..it feels cheap.

We hadn't been there since it changed from Frank's Lakeview Inn so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised mainly because of our server. Her name is Megan Hilton and she has such a welcoming, pleasant personality. The food was tasty and since it was after 3 PM appetizers were half off and it was also Happy Hour. My husband had the blackened rainbow trout and since I wasn't very hungry I made a meal of the appetizers and a cup of chicken, sausage gumbo. Everything was quite tasty. I recommend especially for the view and the chill atmosphere with no blaring music!

We expected it to be busy, and it definitely was, so we tried to be understanding. Our waitress was very friendly but clearly overwhelmed with too many tables. At one point, my husband had to get up to get lemons after asking several times. We arrived around 10 AM and ordered breakfast. Unfortunately, about half of our group couldn't eat their meals. The bacon and sausage were poor quality, and the eggs were overcooked. The hashbrowns were only cooked on one side. The cinnamon rolls were the highlight--fresh, oversized, and enjoyed by everyone. The view is absolutely beautiful and was the best part of our visit. We may try again for lunch or dinner and hope for a better experience.
