Awesome mini golf course! We played many times when in spring or summer, with their pirate theme. It is a fun course with a few water traps. The holiday lights were fabulous! They did an amazing job decorating and making it look beautiful. We had to wait for an hour on the first night but the time moves fast, and they have a bar and cornhole game while you wait. Busy for holidays we went at 5 pm and parked nearby and walked over to the mini golf course. Nice place to play with families! read more

Only suggestion would be able to book online ahead of time. So many people want to enjoy and is difficult to make it all the way through (especially on a school night). Even if we get there closer to 6, we find ourself at the back part of the course still at 8:30 wondering how we can finish, feed the kids a bit more, make the drive home and get them back in bed in time. This will be our 3rd time trying again, as from darkness to the end time is not on your side with smaller kids. read more

I took my 4 year old Grand here to play some putt-putt. He's been on a real golf course and hit some putts so he figured things out quickly. We went around 1p on a Monday and it was very busy. The group in front was slow and the group behind was fast. I like the pirate theme and the course is set up OK. I think alot of the holes were very gimicky & just didn't play well because they don't work. There are several holes where you're ball is likely to go in the water. Not a bad idea to pick up an extra. They have a lacrosse stick so you can fish your ball out. The Grandmother in front of us nearly fell in even though I told her I had an extra ball. Not smart/not safe, especially for the littles. They sell a lot of alcohol. The worst part was the carpet separating on many of the holes. Even if you make a good shot, chances are your ball is going to be diverted to a miss and that's just not fun. read more

Do not go on a weekend during the Christmas season! The lights are beautiful. However, they are not efficient at all with how they handle the crowds!! We waited in line for over an hour just to be told we would have to wait another 40 minutes to play the course! I am sorry but nothing is worth that. At the very least they should tell customers that there will be additional waiting time once you wait in a very long time to pay. We won't be back. I liked the sea theme of this miniature gold course, it's cute, fun and a bit difficult, not that easy to score! They could use some shade here and there in this place, you're in the hot sun most of time, and during the summer you'll sweat just by standing around. Big parking lot, can't say the customer service was the best, the lady working here was kinda rough, I wasn't crazy about her manner. The men's restroom was locked the entire time we were there, I don't know if they had issue or what, but my husband had to use the ladies' one at some point. $9 for an adult to play in here, $7 for kids and seniors. Cute place, fun, some holes are difficult and around some areas to the end, your ball might fall in the water. But it's all good and fun at High Seas! read more

Cute and inexpensive pirate-themed family fun. Reminiscent of spots in Myrtle Beach, High Seas is a great place for entertainment when the weather is nice. The decorations are true to the pirate them, with one hole inside of an abandoned ship. It was pretty crowded this evening for our trip but things moved surprisingly quickly. They have a pretty sweet deal: pay once and come back and play later that same day! For less than $40, our family of four had a really nice time. The new Redstone area nearby can be a great spot to grab a bite to eat, too. read more

This was a blast. My favorite part about this 18-hole course is that the holes range from easy to hard. You never know what you're gonna get. So, my youngest daughter was harassing me to go miniature golfing. Found this little gem on yelp. I had a great time, I went during Christmas, so I believe this was their first year decorating with Christmas lights. They had Christmas music playing in the background, it was really nice. I feel like the price is probably pretty worth it because I was told that for the price of admission you can hang out all day and play which I think is awesome. The staff was great and very helpful. Great vibe for a grown-up party...a little bit fun back yard, a little bit Caribbean, a little bit island vacation all combined. And, our guests loved playing mini-golf under the stars! Lucas and his staff at High Seas were extremely helpful both before and throughout our party! He walked me though every detail for a great party and had everything set up when I got there making it easy for me to look like a relaxed host. Great miniature gold hidden gem! Honestly, the prices are great and it's unlimited. You can't beat it! The owner was super friendly. The course it's a 18 hole it starts easy and it gets challenging. It's clean and well maintained. Well decorated and up to date. At the end the have a concession, complementary water cups, slushees and ice cream from Waxhaw Creamery. I love love their cotton candy ice cream. One scoop is $2 and 2 scoops are $4. Such a deal. We didn't make it to their bar and food bar in the back, perhaps next time. So glad we came! read more

I loved it! Somewhat Disney-esque in its theme, atmosphere, cleanliness and customer care, this little business provides a much needed family escape in a sterile area with few such options. It is delightful 18 holes of miniature golf themed somewhat after Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean. It even displays the famous quote: "Dead men tell no lies". For $9 you can play all day as an adult; kids play for $7. Most admirably civil servants such as police officers, fire fighters and teachers play free. As teachers ourselves, my wife and i really appreciate that. Snacks, icees and ice cream are also available at very reasonable prices. If you have kids, this place is a Gotta Try. Great owner and great fun! We visited a couple of weeks ago with my group, Scoundrels of the Seas. What's better than pirates putt-putting at a pirate themed mini-golf course? The props were very well thought and they did a fantastic job with the pirate theme. It felt like we were on the coast. It's an 18-hole course and $9 to play all day! Great deal right? And I really respect that they have a sign saying military, teachers and police/fire play for free. The holes start out easy and then got harder for me as the course went on. They have one hole inside a pirate ship! There's also snacks, ice cream and drinks for sale. Eventually they are going to add another stand for adult beverages and some other games. A nice place to take the children or grandchildren. Located south of the border just behind Southern Spirits liquor and Advanced Auto Parts. Took our grandchildren and had a good time. This is not a chain as the owners designed it with help from a Texas expert. So it is unique and is different from any others. Obstacles are interesting and the pirate theme is well done. There are water hazards. There is a covered area with tables and chairs so you can wait, eat ice cream or use it for a meet-me place. There is ice cream in the form of packaged cones, cups and sandwiches for sale where you buy your tickets. Price breaks are given for seniors (who get the children rate), veterans (free...many thanks) and children under four are also free. On weekends it is really crowded and slow moving. Also, since it is new, the palm trees are not leafing out and it is sun soaked. Suggest after dinner or early in the weekday when it opens. Makes for smooth sailing on the high seas. Soooo fun!! Do not hesitate to come here! We are a family of five. Our youngest is three and he was free! (thank you!!) The course was so fun, my kids loved it and so did we. It was so affordable. The price is for unlimited day play. They have a snow cone store on site and Castaways is attached if you want an adult drink! My entire family had a blast and for a total of $42 (I think) for my family of 5 to be greatly entertained for at least an hour was well worth it!! The holes were awesome and different difficulties. It was nice to competitively play with the ones that could while keeping the Littles entertained. Lots of fun photo moments as well!! read more

What a gem! The course is miniature in name but big on fun! My wife and I grabbed a babysitter and decided to come here for a date night - and I am glad we did. It's pay once, play all day, around $9 for an adult, $7 for a kid. The course has a pirate them, with more detail than I expected - i.e. there were props inside of the themed buildings. The holes are not easy, and though fun, the last few holes are particularly challenging and create a backup. We arrived around 8pm and it took a little over an hour to play, and we replayed a few holes while we waited. There are 2 huge bonuses working for them: 1) they serve Waxhaw Creamery Ice Cream - and it's the best around (sing the Karate Kid song!!!) 2) They just build an awesome outdoor bar next door, and if you buy drinks they have corn hole, ladder ball, jenga, and connect 4 to play. The two do not connect and you can't bring alcohol onto the course, but it gives you a place to hang out while you decide if you want to play again - or an entirely different destination! For the record - I let me wife win the first game and then I beat her the next :-) read more

This humorously designed, pirate-themed mini-golf course looks like it was perhaps created by some prop artist who was fired by Disney World. There is a sort of Mayan temple in the middle, numerous skeletons, a graveyard with amusing headstones, odd structures of all sorts, shark fins surrounding one hole and other random cleverness. It is challenging and somehow more fun than the many other pirate-themed putt putt courses I have experienced. Why always pirates? What do they have to do with mini-golf? I have been to this place a handful of times and they have really upgraded a lot of things. New paint, more obstacles, a nice addition of rocks. Everyone is always courteous and as long as you don't go on the weekends, it's not busy. Very fun with kids. It used to be that you could play numerous times a day if you retained your receipt. I'm not sure if that's the case anymore, but wouldn't hurt to ask if your toddler gets tired of it and you want to try again later on in the day. read more
