Extremely impressed with this place! Very clean, everything was kept in great condition, which I'd think is hard to do with kids constantly playing hard every day, and the staff was very friendly. It gave this tired mom a nice two hour reprieve while my kiddos had a blast. Really nice perk that they also had delicious coffees, snacks, etc as well for when we all needed a quick recharge.

I came here at 1:30pm on Saturday for a small birthday party. There is a waiver that you must sign but I signed it online prior to arriving to get it done. What's nice is that they have a baby gate/door lock so that children cannot leave without a parent. They have 2 rooms for parties and an area by a green wall. They also have a cafe where they have desserts, coffee, drinks, and food. The play area itself was nice! The kids (in the party and those just present) seemed to really enjoy themselves. There are several activities for them to do. They do have a water fountain by the restrooms. The men's restroom needed a little cleaning as the trash can was full and there were paper towels on the ground. Overall, pleasant experience!

We love this place and will continue to go, but it's certainly in need of some TLC. We went there today, and there were many places where the netting was torn, or the blasters/air propelled items weren't working. Also, some of the padding has been torn or worn off in some of the high traffic places. It's also tough because there are many kids that aren't "watched" by their parents. For example, there were older kids jumping off the rail into the the baby/toddler area. There was a female attendant that came by and said something to them, but it was after a mom (of a little that one of the big kids landed on) went and said something to staff at the counter. I want to say it was tough because it's a holiday week, so they should do the ticketed slot entry on days when the school calendar has holidays. We love everything about Playland, but the equipment is starting to show its age and I wish parents knew the facility isn't a babysitting service.

Playland Indoor Playground is definitely my favorite indoor playground in Charlotte. It's affordable, clean, and the staff are impressively attentive. There are staff constantly cleaning the dining and play area. I have never once touched a sticky surface there for the amount of times we've been there. They serve coffee and desserts in there too. I personally love the tiramisu iced coffee. I also love the crepes. My daughter loves the Latino bakes they have there. I hope they open one in Ballantyne closer to home.

In the back are privet rooms for possible bd parties

Today I visited this place for the first time and it's so awesome. It's clean, the food is decent and the children love it. Great for meetings where you can join the children or just watch them from the seating area. There's an enclosed toddler area for those who have children who are three years and younger. Reclining seats if you wanna be more comfortable and privet party rooms for possible birthday parties. Loved the atmosphere!

We love this indoor playground! The play area is consistently clean and well maintained. Our 4 year old has the best time when we visit. I really appreciate the coffee options for parents. I have had some of the best mochas and iced coffees at Playland. They also have crepes, quesadillas, and hotdogs. This establishment goes above and beyond to meet the needs of the children playing and the adults there to supervise. I really enjoy the time to listen to an audiobook and/or work on things for my job while our son is enjoying social time with other children. Cannot wait to have our son's 5th birthday party at Playland.

Highly recommend Playland to every family! We have a 5,3 and 1 year old and they all enjoy their time here every time we visit. Also their coffee and food are delicious! Staff is always nice and helpful if you need anything. As a mom I appreciate the fact that they care about keeping facilities clean, you can almost always see staff cleaning or disinfecting. We love this place :)

We love Playland. It's indoors, so it's nice and cool. It's clean and safe and most of all - Fun! So many great things to play on.

I love how clean it is they always wipe everything down the few hours i was here i saw them do it a good amount of times

The workers here are very friendly and super nice I love that they don't make anyone wear masks because little kids or anyone that doesn't want to wear them its a free choice like it should be everywhere This place is so clean there rating is 100.0 I was very impressed This is a great place to let your kids run around and have fun 10/10 Recomend!

Fun place for the kiddos and good way to get some exercise for the parents, my kids loved it here and also had me running all over the place from the toddler area but to the big kid area, there's so much to do. They have coffee and snacks for purchase also pizza. They have little party rooms as well. Overall the place was pretty clean and The flaw I seen was the toddler play door was broken it was dragging on the floor which isn't safe at all, but that's an easy fix

Great business model. Well worth the cost. Wish there was one closer to Charlotte but still worth the 30-40 min drive!

However, the toddler area does provide a great slide to go on, it was just SO busy and bigger children were jumping in.

I'm not sure that they even like children. When my older children were little, I used to bring them and that staff would interact with the kids and parents. Most of this staff just sits on side, ignoring children and adults. There is one lady, Miss Wendy that all of my kids love, but she's not there very much. They had an event this weekend and I am glad that we went in the afternoon. My friend got turned away in the morning only an hour after they opened. She said that staff very rudely told her that she should have gotten there earlier. Her children were heartbroken. They did have some people, mainly teenagers with volunteer name tags who were very nice. My little adored the older gentleman who played with him. They had the upstairs set up really cute with a Winnie-the-Pooh exhibit. But unfortunately, they said that it would only be there for that day. They had friendly teens in that space playing with the kids. Admission is not worth it, but their membership is a good value because it includes other museums.

My 4 year old got bored pretty quickly. There also just wasn't a lot to do. There is a dress up area, but it only had a few items, same with the kitchen and pirate ship. I have to agree with another reviewer that the staff wasn't friendly. They were more concerned with everything getting cleaned up. iI's a children's museum - there's supposed to be a level of mess, but when a kid puts a doll at the table and then goes to the kitchen area and you put the doll back, maybe think "was that kid getting food to play feed the doll?"and not assume they were leaving it. Also, parents - there's an overpriced gift/toy section in the front that you can't avoid. Bright side - there's some fun lunch and treat spots close by.

There is a lot for the kids to do, and it is really such a cute place!

So we all went and at first glance looks like a lot of fun however the toddler area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages. It's almost like everything was donated after years of use. And the playhouse they had was a nice idea with lots of food toys in it to play pretend with. However the it's too dark in there. They need to add some sort of light because it's almost scary looking the difference between the bright play place and the dark house. the big play area for the older kids was fine. My older kids had fun going through the obstacle courses and sliding down the big slides . And it's probably too late for this change but who thought of putting swings right in the middle of a play place ?!! Anytime you see a play ground the swings are always off to the side for good reason. I had to save my one year old from getting hit by another swing while I was strapping my two year old into one of the swings. You should never put two swings right in front of each other they are always in a row for a reason. So I won't be bringing my kids back

I'm glad they have somewhere safe and healthy to hang out. It was a bit overwhelming for me with my two young ones. Not because of the older young kids, but there were so many people. The lines are long, and the majority of the staff is in a lackadaisical haze, like, hello, snap into it and get with it so you can move these people where they need to be. Make announcements about the waiver, have a line for those who need socks, and get people checked in and paid. Like, let's match the energy of the crowd. The bounce house is a nice feature for the kids. There are older kids in there hanging out, but they are not bothersome, nor are they rude. The small kids are running around having a blast anyways. I do love that there's plenty of seating for people watching their kids. The go-kart area is the coolest part, and my son loves it. They were closed for maintenance the last time we went, which was disappointing, but he didn't mind as much as I did. They issue helmets and let them go lap around a few times. It is fun and cute. The staff in the go-kart area is young, so they are laid back and will chit-chat, but for the most part, they are great and attentive and ensure safety. The trampoline area is interesting. It goes widthwise, and it is a lot going on, but it is a really good space. My kids enjoy it. I don't ever think we make it to the far end of the area, which is why I say it's an interesting setup. The arcade area is small but has a variety. You can purchase a card and play some games for fun and others for tickets. The birthday party area is upstairs, and it's pretty big. It is a fun place for the kids even if they have a lot going on.
