They had an event this weekend and I am glad that we went in the afternoon. My friend got turned away in the morning only an hour after they opened. She said that staff very rudely told her that she should have gotten there earlier. Her children were heartbroken. They did have some people, mainly teenagers with volunteer name tags who were very nice. My little adored the older gentleman who played with him. They had the upstairs set up really cute with a Winnie-the-Pooh exhibit. But unfortunately, they said that it would only be there for that day. They had friendly teens in that space playing with the kids. Admission is not worth it, but their membership is a good value because it includes other museums.

I love the aquatics center in Rock Hill! Both of my children have taken swim lessons here, and will…read moredo so again. The facility is over 40,000 square feet and houses one ten-lane cold-water pool and one eight-lane warm-water pool. There is a meeting room and locker rooms. I like the room the aquatics center has made for viewing. There are aluminum bleachers near the heated pool where kids take swim lessons and the "Arthritis Aquatics" classes are taught (this pool is handicapped accessible too). There are also some nice permanent bleachers at the end of the ten-lane pool. The aquatics center has a swim team called the Rays and hosts many a swim meet. Swim lessons, Arthritis Aquatics, Aquatic Aerobics and open swimming are the main components of "what to do" at the aquatics center. You'll need a membership to the YMCA in the area. The facility is topnotch and the parking is plentiful, except during swim meets.
