Great job with the 4.6 million dollar renovations. Beautiful place to sit, relax, and enjoy the views. And if you're not a germaphobe (like me) take a swim.

What a beautiful park! Perfect for your family reunion, or day out with the family on the water or in the park. Sites are fully equipped with water, electricity and sewer. Sites were clean and had an aluminum picnic table and fire pit that doubled as a grill. I need to add that sites had 50/30/110amp hook up! Only reason that I gave this site 4 stars is that it wasn't what we were looking for we really wanted the outdoor woods look and feel and our site was in an open field. They were appropriately spaced from other campers though. I would highly recommend for people wanting a beachy atmosphere!

There were a lot of camping folks, RV's but still the place was less crowded and quiet near the lake.

Stopped by for the Perfect Game tournament. It's a cute little park with ample parking spots…read more There's a statue in the center of the drop off area which is a nice touch. Tournament was delayed by two hours due to rain. When we arrived the fields looked great and there was ample space to set up your own seating. A few trips were made to the bathroom by my group and no complaints. At one point, one person when to the concession stand to see what was on the menu as we were starting to get hungry. Come to find out that even though teams were still playing, the concession stand had closed. Most places would make an adjustment to their schedule for delayed tournaments to ensure they stayed open during the last games. This may be an external group that runs them, and I get it, it's just tough to corral hungry children and convince them they'll be fine for awhile longer.

We got food down the street at Burgers and Barley and brought it to this park to eat…read more When we drove in, I noticed many signs about social distancing. People seem to be completely ignoring the signs because the park was incredibly crowded and no one was social distancing. Luckily, we were able to find a secluded picnic table to sit at and eat our lunch. It seemed like a nice park and I would have loved to stay and walk around on some of the trails, but I wasn't comfortable doing that considering how crowded it is. I'd recommend trying to find a less popular park than this one if you're just trying to spend some time outside.

I bookmarked this spot for the seasonal spider lillies. After self-paying the admission fee and…read moreparking, the walk along the shore was quite pleasant on a mild day. Despite the river views, it took a half hour or so to get to the spider lillies, which are apparently limited to one particular location. It was hard to see them from shore, made harder by rising waters (the festival the previous day was likely thrown off by rain). I got enough of a glimpse of them to understand where the name comes from. The overall aesthetic of the park offered remnants of a historic canal, and boating and picnicking opportunities. It was a pleasant space, but not at the top of ones I'd want to drive out to and pay for.

Finally checked off Landsford Canal Park off my park bucket list! If you wanna see something thats…read moreabsolutely gorgeous and unique, this is a must see. The Rocky Spider Lily's are only located in certain areas ( SC, GA, and AL). Hoping to see them in another state as well. Its all about timing, make sure you check the websites for a bloom updates. The park is well kept and bathrooms are clean, which is a plus. During the Lily Festival parking is limited, so pack your patience. You will get parking, so no worries. The cost is $6 for each adult, very reasonable considering. They have a store with maps for the walking trails, its approx 1mile roundtrip to see the Lily's. If you want to see them up close and personal you must rent a canoe prior to coming. The park doesnt rent boats, a outside company will take you on a tour. I actually enjoyed the nature trails. They have a nice platform for viewing the lily's. The lily's are absolutely breathtaking, I truly enjoyed my day at this park. The trails are fairly short and well taken care of. There are some food and artisan vendors at the park. Tip: dont touch the lily's if your on a boat, all parts of the plant are poisonous if ingested. Please do your own research beforehand. Thankfully most people are viewing from the platform. Fabulous day indeed, fresh air, steps, and peace! @glampedlife
