Came on a Tuesday with my niece who was visiting from Ohio. We are both first timers here and just read some things online. When we first got here at 11:30 it wasn't too crowded since the temperature was cool today, but it was quickly got busy. A little disappointed that they were short staffed as the staff member doing the Wax hands was also doing the bumper cars and he was busy for like an hour so the bumper cars were not running. The challenge zone is a joke. There are weeds, nets are broken for the basketball hoop and the little trampolines for the aero ball cover are with pine and so worn and shredded. We only found one ball and it was ripped and deflated. If I ever came back again, it would definitely be on a day that they have a special or a deal. Ropes course and zip line is definitely great for beginners kids or adults. I just feel like the price should not be charged fully is everything is not working and available. read more

Had our first trip to Mr. Putty's yesterday afternoon for a birthday activity with 7 family members. We went explicitly for mini-golf and played one round of it, so this review is limited to that experience. The staff was pleasant and welcoming and the course was entertaining. As mentioned in some other reviews, there are holes where there is a risk that your ball will fall into flowing water but that did not present a problem for our group even though multiple balls fell victim. Overall, we had a great time. The crowd was very bearable and did not interrupt the flow of our game. On an advisory note, the golf course is pretty much open air so dress appropriately if it's a hot/sunny day. I look forward to going back for additional rounds of golf even though there is only one course. I'd also like to try my hand at the axe throwing. After our first visit, I would comfortably recommend. read more

Today, I went to do the ropes course with my family and we had a teenage boy named Max. He was the sweetest, most helpful boy ever for little kids who were scared. He coached the kids through it while being encouraging the whole time. 10/10 would recommend him. He 100% deserves a raise! GOOD JOB MAX!!! read more

This was a fun putt putt place we had not been to. Putt putt for two adults was 23.00. It was 18 holes and they even have the longest hole in SC? Or so they claim. The course is pretty compacted together but they did have some tricks on each course. They even have a rope course, bunjee jumping and other games on the side for kids. They also sell alcohol just not on Sunday. Overall it was a cute place and fun experience. I would go back. It took us about an hour to play all 18 holes. read more

This is a mixed review for the first time out here. I took my 8 year old Granddaughter who wanted to go for putt-putt. When we got there, she discovered they also had the ZipLine and Bungee jumping. She wanted to do them all, so we did. I told the young man at the desk that this was our first time there. I confirmed with him that she was large enough/old enough to take on the challenges of the bungee and obstacle course. I told him safety was our primary concern. He assured me that she would be fine. Half-way through the 18 hole course, she decided it was too hard and she wasn't having fun. I'm a golfer, I played 94 rounds of golf last year and can tell you the degree of difficulty is high even for an experienced golfer, for younger kids....maybe not so much. There are also holes where your ball will need to cross over a bridge to avoid water. Several times, her ball went in the water and her natural instinct was to go after it. Not a good idea, the water is moving fast and the ball gets swept away. NO one mentioned this when we started playing. The place was Soooo slow when we went on a Sunday afternoon in mid-November. It was sunny and 67 so the conditions were good for outside activities. She has a trampoline in her back yard so the bungee was a breeze for her. After about 30 minutes she was doing up to six back flips in a row! She has done a smaller version of a Zip Line before as well so she did better than I thought. I can tell you the first part of it, the obstacle course is a real challenge. The last part when you get to the platform to start the zipline is about 40 feet high. She was just a bit tentative at first but took off running to the edge and in seconds she was at the finish platform, she had a blast. All the Staff are very young high school kids. The two attendants at each of the other activities talked to Savannah and gave her good idea of what was going to happen and went over the safety guidelines and ask her to demonstrate how to operate the safety clips on the zipline. She did complain that she got a lot of chaffing and friction from the harness around her legs. They were all red and irritated by the time she was done. I would recommend NOT wearing short shorts but longer shorts or pants, especially for girls. She did very good and had a real good time. read more

Nothing better than staff who represents the brand so positively. The complex boasts an 18 hole mini golf course, jump trampolines, ax throwing and more. The 19th hole has beer and wine for sale. The whole family enjoyed playing miniature golf here while on vacation. The course is creative and nicely maintained. Prices were fair and staff were helpful. There are covered picnic tables to sit at outside the course and benches with umbrellas on it. We didn't try the ice cream or ropes course--maybe next time. read more

A fun place for miniature golf but didn't like that they had people above the course in harnesses over the golf greens up in the air over us. Also, there shouldn't be any prickly rose bushes on the greens. My ball went into the rose bush. My friend pulled away the branches with her golf club. However, kids don't know to do that and can get hurt. Other than those 2 obstacles...had a great time. A clean place, would definitely go back. read more

Something checked off my bucket list! I thought it would be extremely hot, but despite the heat it was a very enjoyable experience! The axe looks heavier than what it actually weigh when you hold it. The website lists a 2 attraction pass for $13. Our grandsons wanted to do the aerial rope course and the bungee jumpers (both of which are listed in the in the list of attractions on the website) and then all 5 people in our party were going to golf (and pay for the golf separately). We bought the 2 attraction passes. When we got to the aerial rope course, the guy working there said that it counted as 2 rides. I went back to the ticket counter, checked the "combo pass" section of the pricing board and it didn't list any exceptions. I spoke with the guy who sold us the tickets (he said he was the manager) and he said that the rope course counted as 2 attractions ("because it is our biggest attraction"). I pointed out that the website and the combo pass section of the pricing board didn't say that and he said "you should have asked". I don't care how they price their attractions but their posted prices should reflect reality so parents can make informed decisions and avoid disappointing the kids. read more

Saturday mid afternoon fun! I really enjoyed myself. Mr. Putty's Fun Park offers mini golfing, axe throwing, ropes/challenge Course and zip lining. At the time I visited they had a Groupon so the cost was reduced. We completed their 18 hole miniature golf course in about an hour. For a Saturday afternoon it was not terribly busy and we only had one group ahead of us on the course. We were able to spend extra time or revisit a previous hole to add extra time between us and the other group of golfers. They offer food however we did not eat. Parking is limited. read more

Holy crap!! What FUN and what an AMAAAZIIIIIING STAFF running the place! These men work amazing under pressure! What pressure...you ask? The son had a heat stroke, halfway through the zip-line course, in the sky! Both Conner and Rob, team members, jumped into action traversing through the course in record speed to bring aid to our little one. Conner brought him cold water and Rob was able to get him up by encouraging him to press on. He let our son know that a delicious cold slushy awaited him at the end of the course; if there is anything that will motivate the boy to push through, it's a high fructose filled treat. They turned a parents worse nightmare into a manageable situation that was diffused with massive action, skill, and care. Dope place ran by dope people. Check this place out! read more

I am lost for words right now. While surprising my son and my niece for a day of fun, turned into a father's worse nightmare. While doing the zip line and rope line, my son developed a heat stroke in the middle of the pipelines. He became delirious and fainted a few times. As we were strapped in, there was no way of getting him down without calling the fire dept. Conner, staff member came to help me to hold him up. Ron came from the bottom and our knight in dark and blue armor. He encourage my son to be strong, look up and kept reminding him to be strong. As a father, I thought I could do it by myself, but realize that it takes a village. Ron encouraged my son along the end, sent him on the zip line and help down to the ground. The Best miniature golf in the Carolinas. My husband and I are seniors and we like to try different miniature golf courses and found Mr. Putty's to be the best in both North and South Carolina. The greens are clean and the park itself is well kept. The employees are always friendly..we go in the winter time as well..weather permitting..and found it to be just as well kept and employees engaging. My boyfriend and I went here for the first time today. We loved the mini golf course. It was fun! We tried the obstacle course in the sky and I had the worker and my boyfriend cracking up because I couldn't do the course gracefully. Overall, it was a fun experience. Only warning for you - if you choose to do the hand wax option (I did), be careful when putting your hand in. I touched the bottom because I do not think there was enough wax in the thing I put my hand in. I burned my finger a little bit, since the wax was hot and of course what's keeping it hot is metal. My finger is okay, but it definitely hurts still. I also am not sure if the guy who did it for us knew what he was doing. He burned himself too (which I know accidents happen) - but my hand mold was completely messed up by the time he was done with the colors. I did a peace sign and I don't even want to post the picture of the finished product because it looks pretty rough. It is very squished and does not look like a hand anymore. When I first took the wax off, it looked pretty close to my peace sign. I am not sure if when he put it in to add the color if he touched the bottom or not, but at one point the top of my fingers were not there and the peace sign was no longer a thing. I was a little bummed to see the mold messed up, but the worker seemed younger and he burned himself with the coloring so I felt bad. I hope he is okay! read more

My daughter didn't know any better so she had a blast. However, we were very upset with the lack of help from employees. We bought a 2 hour full access pass so she could do basically everything. There was NO ONE at the challenge house. There weren't even balloons at the water balloon challenge- and no one to take tickets. The only attraction that seemed to have an employee working was the zip line course. Other than that- we had to find someone and still had no success with the challenge area. Looks like a great park- and could be- if people were actually there working for the kids to enjoy. Sadly have to say very disappointed. read more

This is a fun place to go for some old-fashioned putt-putt. The space looks a little small from a distance, but it does have a full 18-hole course. We went in the evening and it wasn't too crowded. Only towards the second half we caught up with the group in front of us and had to wait. Everything is new so the course is well maintained and contains a lot of water features. On some holes you can use the water to your advantage. The holes are named after local cities and other places near Charlotte which personalizes it. I wish there were more stands or benches to have a hard surface write scores on. There were other activities and food options but we didn't try these. We, 3 of us, visited Mr. Putty's on 6/14/2016 at 6:00 p.m. for a birthday treat for our daughter. We ordered food before going to the course. There were no hot dogs, nothing but finger foods, all frozen and were delivered to our picnic table one at a time with 5-8 min intervals for each. We had 5. The "food" for the 3 of us cost $45.67. Took my Webelos Den from Cub Scout Pack 108 in Fort Mill for a fun summer activity. The Scouts had a blast. They even had more fun fishing for the balls with the nets than playing putt putt. The course and holes are pretty simple compared to what you would find at the bigger challenging courses at other park's. They are 18 holes to play on. Mr Putty's also has obstacle courses and bounce house type games there. The office sells drinks and ice cream. Great little outing for something new to the area. read more
