I booked a class on a snowy day as my last place didn't offer as many times as high ride .. instantly fell in love !! I love the times of class early mornings and evenings! I went here for the first time last week and I loved it! It is in a cute location that is very up and coming. The staff was very nice and the instructor had a lot of energy! I loved how they incorporated some dance elements into the workout. I'm also glad they work on your arms as well with the weights. The music was awesome, and I loved how they turned the lights down low, and used fun lighting effects. I will definitely go back soon and recommend this place to anyone who loves cycling! read more

Super cool spot with amazing staff. I've been seeking a cycle spot since I moved from SF. I didn't find this spot until a month or two ago since I use Classpass & didn't have the Highlands in my filter/search. I saw an ad on FB & I'm so glad I popped in! The owners & the instructors I have met are welcoming & friendly. The classes are upbeat & I enjoy how choreographed each class is. High Ride is by far my favorite cycling studio in Denver. Class is always fun and goes by very fast. Loud and upbeat music, very energetic and encouraging instructors (I like Megan & Lindsay's classes). Shoes are free (clip-in), provides water station and towels, shower available. Space is pretty neat & clean. Bikes here don't have monitor though. If you like dance party on bikes, this is the place! Parking is easy and plenty of street parking around. Studio is on the second floor of the building, can be a bit tricky to find. read more

The owners are wonderful and so helpful and the instructors are a lot of fun. The new studio is beautiful, always clean, has plenty of parking and is in a great, central location. I really enjoy the overall body workout the classes provide (you don't get an arm workout in more traditional spin classes) and I can't get enough of riding to the beat of some really great music. I've been doing ClassPass for over a year and this is by far my favorite workout in Denver! My best friend and I started going when High Ride first opened (back in the old location) and it has been such a pleasure to see the business grow. The owners are awesome and so passionate about their work and community and it really shows! There are too many good things to say and I don't want to forget anything so I'm making a list: 1. Such a good workout! It's so much fun that you hardly care that you're sweating your ass off! Even on days where I come in feeling blah, I dance it out on the bike and leave feeling full of energy! It is totally beginner-friendly (I didn't spin before I came here) and you always feel inspired to challenge yourself. 2. Lots of great instructors! Megan, Lindsay, Alexa, and Will are some of my favorites, but you can't really go wrong. Everyone brings incredible energy, motivation, and music. The instructors are a huge reason why the workouts are so much fun! 3. Fun theme rides and events! They are always doing something new and offering great events and partnerships with other local studios and businesses. 4. The new studio space is gorgeous! I loved the old location, but this new space is a huge upgrade! Way more space for the busy in-between class times and a bigger room for more bikes. The space is always clean and the shoes are always free! 5. The community feeling here is real! The owners have managed to create such a welcoming space and everyone who rides here feels it (just read all these other reviews)! They make you feel like a friend, they remember the names and shoes sizes of all their regulars, and they are generally just lovely people. Took advantage of their great deal for first time riders--I had been to spin classes before, but not with them, and wanted to check it out. Awesome experience. It's easy to find, first off. When I walked in, their staff were immediately welcoming and very friendly (but not pushy, which can happen at certain studios when you're designated as a newbie). Everything was clean and organized. They provide cycling shoes if you don't have your own. As for the class itself, Lisanne brought some incredible energy and I had a fantastic time. And when they promise a full body workout, they mean it. No half baked handlebar push-ups here. However, if you're a beginner, they make themselves very accessible for help and questions. Saw people of virtually every body type and experience level having a great time. Overall, would definitely recommend. My only regret is that I'm living out of state for a while, but every time I come back to visit family, I'll be sure to stop by. read more
