I have been loving the 11:30 class time because not a lot of people go, so I am usually in a 6-person group for sculpt! So far, the instructors I have taken have been stellar. The studio is also kept really cleaned, and they maintain it well. For instance, the water fountain filter needed to be changed, and they changed it within minutes of the filter color light changing. The experience with the classes themselves has also been great. There is a diverse mix of class options and times, whether you want early morning, midday, or late after work. The instructors are all knowledgeable and friendly. Update: the teachers may be going on strike in Feb for better pay and better cleaning, both of which I support. Don't cross the picket line if it happens. The request is for deep cleans to happen quarterly and it's insane to me that isn't already happening. That does make me a little concerned. This is a national strike, not specific to Tennyson.

Yoga changed my life, and Michelle (the same teacher from 4 years ago) is a deep contribution to that change. The dedication she has to the practice and her students is nothing short of magical. She lights up the room with her energy and has the immaculate ability to push you just to the ideal edge every class. The classes are challenging for people who have done yoga before but my coworkers (who were new to yoga) were able to follow along as well. It is a bit of a unique location for yoga since it is also a restaurant. They push the tables from the middle area out of the way and that's where classes are held. It can get crowded so make sure you show up early to get a good spot or you can end up kind of crammed up again the tables. I love the blue sky ceiling above the yoga area though. Also, make sure you bring your own mat and any other yoga aides you like to use (blocks, blankets, straps) since they don't supply anything.

Each month, they do provide discounts on certain programmes for anyone who is interested in climbing. I like to climb with Hubs on the weekends, especially on a Saturday morning when there are a few climbers. But my favorite time to climb is during the weekday mornings or afternoons when this place can just be called "my own sanctuary". During the weekdays especially from 5 pm onwards this place can be jam-packed with climbers alike. Each month and every other month, they do change the routes for climbers to progress in their climbing with different range of climbing difficulties. There is also a place for you to do bouldering as well if you dont have a climbing partner to belay. Even my cousin from Singapore who came for a visit sometime around July/August 2009 was awed about this place. If you want, do give them a try to climb.
